I also think it's an issue fo Beipi to be so allergic to other players, I would much rather all herbivores, omnivores, and players in general be far more reliant on player interaction either actively or reactively. If carnivores were dependant on herbivore populations, and herbivores had consistent interaction, their dependancy on the world would be far more forgivable 67.
But designing whole playables around just existing and eating AI, feels very misguided 67.

No, you must consider that player interaction isn't the point, they fully intend on just filling the servers with dinosaur AI anyways. In fact they've repeatedly talked about lowering player counts once that happens. It's not bad game design, it's just a different approach to game design... that's less good for certain people 67.

Unless there is hype or a specific reason to join No AI, people will only join if pop is already high. If the server lulls over night, the next day it might not regain pop because no one joins the empty server.
For this reason I don't think it's just because people don't like No AI, they want to be assured they have consistent food when they pick a server

Scavenge, other juvies, or if it's really rough just have a juvie exclusive resource, although if handled correctly that shouldn't be necessary 67.
Scavenging can be made very consistent for juvies if they implemented corpse consumption tiers. Meaning a larger species wouldn't be able to pick a body clean, leaving scraps attached to the bone for smaller creatures to eat. Meaning the player interaction would be retained, while making food consistently accessible to only a small section of the population.
