This game is very far from realism (see Omni) in many regards, taking explicit liberties much like the Jurassic Park source of inspiration. Rex is still debated it's position in a ecosystem as was the spino, so it's more balance reasons being ignored for a new release

nah, it's just two still very new playables and there's always just going to be those types of people who gravitate towards their favorites. the roster is also still quite limited so some things become more dominant until more things are added in to balance them out

omni's would be feathered
herreras would be ground based running creatures (I'm not saying dinos, because it's not clear that they were dinos)
t. rex would almost certainly avoid large healthy trikes and only eat juvis and sub-adults
deinosuchus would probably grow 20% bigger than the current prime deino and take much, much longer to grow
beipi would be predominantly land based
oviraptor wouldn't eat eggs or snails, and would live in a semi-arid desert

It's a game, and as such all artistic license if fully justified

The bleed is the main concern, yes, and dibble is a fairly mobile playable that rarely stays still, at least in spar mode
