Im mainly just using its concepts for Evrima as a reference and just thinking from a game balance perspective.

It seems to me to more or less be the grand equalizer of the aquatic environment (culling Deinos specifically) and the concepts show it punching down a lot with its most 'equal' mu being Cherry. Plus I think that if it was a Semi-Aquatic that was also a very proficient terrestrial Carni, it'd probably be way too favorable.

I know concepts aren't law, but this is just my speculation

You do not have to take nearly as many risks when you are using bleed. Yes you still go in and there are risks, but the bleed will do the job for you so that you can wait out the opponent

Having bleed doesn’t make you good at hunting larger animals. Being specialized in bleed does because larger animals can generally kill things in fewer hits because they are naturally stronger

When they can’t rely on just hitting you as you come up as often, they crumble. The difference between a Rex and a Giga hunting a Cama, is that a Rex will have to go for an attack every single time to chip away health. Which gives a Cama more opportunity’s to hit you

When something like a Giga only needs to hit you every minute or so, the times you have to damage someone goes down. Because they will hit you and back off until they need to reapply. All the while your bloodpool is ticking down. Something you cannot do as a damage dealing animal
