Yesterday me and my buddy were playing allo, we were crossing the highlands sanctuary to go to water access and we saw a very clueless baby rex. Lil guy was going close to us like we were their parents consistently and didn't call at all, presumably a very new player. The thought of killing it didn't ever cross our minds. I hunted an ai galli and gave it to the baby before leaving

I play stego the most. Unless something is actively attacking me I do NOT even raise my tail. Hell, if it's a small creature I don't even kill it, I just leave it to realise they cannot hurt me and give up on their own

PvP ain't everything. Enjoying the vibe of dinosaurs and the environment, potentially making a few friends along the way is the best feeling in the isle for my playstyle

I invite you to look at it from another angle... The weeks before the December update, in more than one occasion, I created large chillpacks of 20+ people in Highlands by the mudpit.

You could give it a chance and join the pack even if for a change of pace, enjoy eachother's company and look out for eachother. That's still very much meaningful interaction

I have tried it only once so I'm no expert. But I would say it doesn't have any particular cons. It's pretty fast for its size but slower than smaller creatures, as you would expect, it has the highest bite force after Rex and bites at an insane speed, basically a machine gun for bites. With its latch it does a metric ton of bleed. It's basically a giant slower raptor.

Carnivores are kinda basic. Larger means more powerful but slower. The only carnivore with a different mechanic is the Dilo. For everything else it's literally bigger fish eats smaller fish.
