I'm having trouble launching The Isle, it keeps giving me an error with "Easy Anti-Cheat" saying it's not installed.
I tried uninstalling and installing the game, then verifying the integrity of the game on Steam, and I also went directly to the Steam folder,
found The Isle, and clicked the Easy Anti-Cheat "exe" file 2 times, but it wouldn't open at all, not even through the admin.

Probably you wont see anything when you open the file, thats normal, but try force closing the EAC in task manager and restarting your computer and do it again.
When you restart your system, it'll solve some issues with apps not responding or getting conflict with something

you can either set your eggs to Public or share your nest code on some chat

Your friends have to go in the character selection screen, there is an egg icon. They click on it, then they will be able to put your nest code and send an invite to join your nest. Make sure your eggs are set on private so only your friends with your code can join.

hello, since the release of evrima update 5 I have a bug that means that I cannot turn to the right or left, but the movement keys and the ability to look up or down work. I I uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times, changed the keys in the settings and switched from Azerty to Querty but nothing worked. Try swapping to 2d clouds instead of volumetric, try swapping to windowed fullscreen from fullscreen. Set your FPS limit to something high, maybe about 200FPS.

@warm hamlet @humble lion @keen osprey to fix the connection issue, you need to open UninstallAnticheat and then open InstallAnticheat , because the anticheat is possibly whats slowing down the connection and causing the server to kick you - reinstalling it can fix it. if that doesn't fix it, verify files and open TCP/UDP ports.

5. Open the "Saved" folder.

I don't know if this is specifically an evrima problem but for a while now but Steam has been refusing to update The Isle, saying 'App Configuration Unavailable'. I have it set to the Evrima Public Branch in the Betas. Do I have to completely uninstall the game and reinstall it?
Also %Localappdata% doesn't work on Win10 and older. Have to use %appdata% but it takes you to the 'Roaming' folder, have to back out a layer and go into Local from there.

Has anyone found a fix for not being able to pair as a hypsi? A friend and I did the court dance and the pair label would show up for them (male) but not me (female), and after about 20 seconds it would get rid of the paired status for them.

Hey guys, need some help. I logged in, created a dino, and now my camera is stuck. I can look up and downward, but not side-to-side. Because of this I cannot turn my dino at all and am forced to walk in a straight line. I safelogged, no change. I switched servers, no change. I quit the game and restarted, no change. I even unplugged my mouse to check if that was the issue, and it wasn't. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or am I going to have to uninstall and reinstall?

Also just tried to reset all of my in-game mouse and keyboard controls. Nothing.

The 'app configuration' to my game has been unavailable for around half a year now I believe.
(Don't remember if it was playable or not prior to the update).

I don't believe I've touched the game in a while, at least since this update, and it's still the same.

When I tried starting it I got given the typical EAC isn't installed.
Tried verifying the integrity of the files and it didn't work.
Next I went to browse local files, pressed install EAC, and opened the game through EAC but it didn't work and instead this error popped up.

Completely uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn't work. I even deleted 'The Isle' folder to try fixing it.

I have a windows 10 nvidia computer, all the graphics are way more than the game needs,

Is there anything I could do to fix it? Or is this a bigger bug report I should fix? I've tried keeping myself updated on the channel but nothing's working atm.

Let me know if I should wait it out or somethin, but nothing's working for me at the moment.
