Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game already, and then i did the full uninstall that was talked about in pinned, nothing is working. I did the delete "the isle" folder, nothing. I verified who knows how many times. Nothing is working. A little bit ago I was able to get into the game but it would just crash whenever I got into a server.

What a mess with Update 5, We lost saved progress dinosaurs on all the servers. The download update seems to have a hiccup that we need to go to the Steam setting to delete the download catch for the update to start patching up. Regardless of the controller setting being busted, a little help by removing the isle saved data on the %Appdata\local% and even still now doesn't matter which server you enter 0/100, 55/100, or 95/100 you will get a server lost connection. The fish glitch from the top of the water and go up to heaven and much more.

I think a good suggestion is to roll back the update until all of this malfunction is updated for us to run it.

I'm sure you guys are swamped right now and likely seen this issue already. The game's acting like EAC isn't installed at all. I go to launch the game I get the "EAC is not installed error. When I go into the the isle's program files and run the EAC installer as admin the window acts like it pops up for a split second and then closes. I've tried pretty much everything from following the troubleshooting instructions linked on the EAC site to verifying my files on steam with no luck. Firewall isn't the issue, everything is permitted to go through.

The game's a fresh install on a computer that was recently wiped. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice.

Is anyone else having issues launching their game as well? I've not seen complaints here in chat. Has anyone had any luck fixing this issue?

if you have nvidia, you can right click your desktop and go to nvidia control panel > display > adjust desktop colour settings > and turn up gamma. this is what i use but there are other ways to do it. you can also adjust your screen from your nvidia app (nvidia geforce experience) by opening your settings and in-game overlay. or try adjusting your pcs brightness settings

Hi uhm I have the problem that I can't look left/right in the game anymore when I use a mouse...tested with other mouse just to be sure, it definitely doesn't work. I also tested with a gamepad - there I can look around but not move, so somethings wrong with the controls. It worked fine until about 4 days ago (so before the update). Updating the game didn't help. Reinstalling the complete game didn't help. Resetting all controls didn't help. Any ideas how to fix it?

There are a few solutions.
Try sprinting into different directions or jumping. If none work try relogging and while you're logging back in and whilst your game is rendering, try sprinting out of the spot you're stuck in, it's worked for me a few times.

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

for those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

• Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
• Properties
• Local Files
• Browse
• Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
• Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.

  For anyone else with this issue, go to the game directory
