Apologies for any issues, it should be fixed with this, but if not, run it in -windowed mode, and when you're in game just try changing the settings to run in borderless windowed if you can, and avoid fullscreen and submit a #🐞-evrima-bug-reports-🐞 here explaining the issue that's happening.

Also, the admins are volunteers and aren't always available, so if you find yourself stuck and aren't able to get help, sometimes it's best to log out so you don't starve or dehydrate

Anyone know a fix for this? I've tried re-installing half a dozen times, verifying files, clearing steam cache, updating all my drivers and windows, copying over the anti-cheat folder from a friend who plays on the envirma beta, making sure it's excluded from my firewall, turning off the firewall entirely and trying to launch, even uninstalling any other games that use anti-cheat and re-installing the isle envirma again and still get this error. My specs are within the recomended too, shouldn't be having issues in that regard. If I opt out of envirma and launch legacy it works just fine, only when I try to opt into the beta do I get this error. Checked the folder and that .exe is there so it's not missing. It will load the EAC splashscreen, come up with this error and just crash.

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

If the issue persists, adding a firewall exclusion for your entire Isle game folder and then following the steps above should do it.

You did fix the "anti-cheat is not installed" problem but now

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall, may need to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS can cause the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. You may need to upgrade your system. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system". You may have an unstable version of Windows as well, If it's not a GPU under our recommended minimum specs. Try reinstalling Windows if that's the case.

If none of the above works, you likely have too old a GPU and need to upgrade your PC or, you can wait for a possible update or fix. Evrima is a new game, it has new tech in it, it will not be as easy to run as Legacy. If you find yourself having this specific error, you're likely needing to upgrade your pc, or consider the switch over to Geforce Now, which can run The Isle Evrima very well, depending on which subscription you get.

Okay i am confused, i tried turning on NVidia DLSS and pressed apply, but when i go out of the settings menu and back in, it resets to off? i can use DLSS in other games and it works fine. but not The Isle... any ideas how to fix this? saw someone say it only works for RTX cards, well howcome it works with other games?

Evrima is a beta and last I heard DLSS doesn't work very well all the time. You may have to wait for compatibility updates as I've not really heard of workarounds for DLSS to work. Also if you can use #🐞-evrima-bug-reports-🐞 to make the process a little smoother.

It launches the Anti Cheat, but afterwards nothing happens, not Error message, nothing loads.
Steam just says the game runs for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. Any ideas what is causing that?

Easy Anti Cheat is broken for me friend and in trying to fix it for him by using my laptop as a reference broke mine too. Been at it for 2 hours now including downloading the application off the web and I still can't get it to work, anybody had this issue?

Tried Uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting laptops, downloading the file from EAC website and replacing the game files with it, tried verifying the files with steam and done like 2 hours of searching on the web.

And it worked for me originally until I tried to open the EOS file, which isn't even supposed to be there?

Quick logging usually fixes that. If it doesn't work the first time keep quick logging until it does.

I've already checked file integrity, deleted download cache, and deleted and then reinstalled the game and nothing is working. Check and make sure anti virus isn't blocking you from joining the servers. Also, if that fails, try the following

2. Right click Command Prompt
3. Click Run as Admin. It'll open a black weird box
4. Type ipconfig /flushdns
5. Hit enter

8. Reboot your computer
9. Open up The Isle

If that does not work try this

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

Got problem with deinos sometimes. Grabing meat can make you somehow buggy and you can't eat or drink anymore. Only safelog can fix that for now but it could be nice if that could be fix. Comming back in the game with 100 people is hard and doing it because of this bug is annoying.

I recently started with evrima, and ever since my second or third time logging on I've had severe loading issues, my dino will appear floating and remains in this state for 5 minutes or more. During this time the game appears to be loading the map in stages, though almost all of the actual details load in all at once towards the end and my dino will plop on the floor. I'm unable to sprint during this, but can move (albeit with no real idea where I'm going). The pinned comment in this channel says to 'edit my nvidia 3d settings' but thats a little vague, what am I editing exactly? I've done a clean uninstall and reinstall on a faster ssd this time, but all this did was make the loading screen a little faster, but none of the loading that happens after. Also lowered my graphics to see if it would at least shorten the load, but it doesn't help. Also verified files, drivers are up to date etc etc. Sometimes walking around seems to make it want to load the stuff around me, but thats been a coinflip so far. Using a 1070ti, 16 gigs ddr4 and an i5 6600k. I vividly remember my first time spawning on the game only two days ago and not having this issue.

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall, may need to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS can cause the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. You may need to upgrade your system. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system". You may have an unstable version of Windows as well, If it's not a GPU under our recommended minimum specs. Try reinstalling Windows if that's the case.

If none of the above works, you likely have too old a GPU and need to upgrade your PC or, you can wait for a possible update or fix. Evrima is a new game, it has new tech in it, it will not be as easy to run as Legacy. If you find yourself having this specific error, you're likely needing to upgrade your pc, or consider the switch over to Geforce Now, which can run The Isle Evrima very well, depending on which subscription you get.

Ya, I actually had the same issue again with another game. I talked to some of my friends and we think the computer can’t either follow the correct file path or read the file themselves. It could mean the the path is corrupted or the the whole hard drive is about to go. I would change the location you have the game downloaded to, maybe another hard drive.

I’ve had that issue sometimes, the ways I’ve was one of 3 ways. 1. Safe log. 2. Sometimes jumping in the water and swimming fixes things. 3. Wait for a server reset.

A 2060 should be fine running Evrima. Your RAM and cpu also impact performance, but if they are on par with your GPU you should be able to run it just fine.
There may be a pinned troubleshooting that works for you in this channel.

The camera and all other abilities are working just fine with the controller. It's just movement that's a problem.

Just make sure your case (especially GPU) is getting enough airflow and that is doesn't really get up above 80C

make sure not to block any fans and if you're using a Laptop, that you're not playing for a long period of time

The sniff, bite, jump...everything else for controller are functioning correctly.

If there is no control reset you will need to delete your app data file to restore them to default. Search in the windows bar ”%localappdata%” and the delete theisle folder. Should be fixed after that.

Evrima has not been optimized yet since it’s a beta, so the graphics can be a bit temperamental regardless of your computer set up, each case is individual to each computer. Other than lower your graphics or resolution you will need to wait for the next update to see if things change.

For those of you experiencing issues with your keybindings or other controls;

While the game is closed

• Press Windows key
• Type %localappdata% and press enter
• Find the folder called TheIsle
• Delete the folder
  Relaunch the game
