I can't join a game server since the last update. The game starts normally and I also find servers directly, but as soon as I want to go to a server it says Connect failed and something with the host fails.

I have:

1. saved folder deleted several times.
2. Graphics card driver renewed.
3. Deleted the game and reinstalled it again.

my hardware is:

Graphic card:
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050TI

and processor:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400

Would be super grateful if someone could help me to be able to play evrima again. If it works and you have any advice for me then just send me a PM.

Due to the name tag thing I think the game thinks that everyone is in a group but at the same time they think we're not in a group so we can't leave or join other groups

Gotcha, thankfully it seems that the devs are aware and will hopefully be able to fix it soon. In the meantime, have you tried to see if relogging changes anything about that? That can fix some issues but this seems like one that will have to be patched

Since the new update Evrima crashes for me everytime i try to do something diffrent then changing the settings. It tells me fatal error! nothing else. And the game is pretty laggy since the new update (I didn't change any settings from before the update. except for trying lower settings to see if it would fix the error atlest but it didnt.) Any help would be appreciated because the game is unplayable for me like this.

And with doing anything else i mean. Trying to eat grass for example. The only thing possible is changing the settings or anything else in the menu. everything in game makes it crash.

it doesnt matter josh... for EAC to continue to work in the isle... the devs have to allow eac to be ran through proton, which from what it looks like they havent. there is litterally nothing on the user side that can be done for this particular issue as its something that the game itself has to (re)enable.

this is why linux gaming has struggled so much is because of this exact issue on every game that ran anti cheat software

I'm having this issue on Evrima where I keep getting a "fatal error" game crash. I tried playing on different servers and I noticed it kept happening. Another thing I noticed is that it happens if I jump. I tap space and it crashes. If it helps, I was playing as a dryo on Evrima. Crashed twice while jumping, once out of no where, within 3-5 minutes of joining the game, on two different servers.

I am having trouble with Deino eating- if the food is on the surface of the water or outside the water, I can eat by holding E just fine but if it’s under water (I’m too small to pick up anything) and I pull chunks off to eat, the food just gets stuck. Safe logging fixes the on-land holding E problem and sometimes the chunk problem once it’s on land (one in ten times maybe) but that means I have to safe log every time I pull a chunk off of a fish that’s sunk to the bottom just to eat the chunk that fills 10% of hunger if that. Most times the chunks remain inedible even after a safe log/full restart of game…

I'd lower settings, update gpu, make sure Nvidia isn't jacking up any settings for the isle, fully uninstall reinstall manually if that doesn't work.

I have tried all of these. I even factory reset my pc to make sure I didn't have a virus taking up my performance. Redownloaded the isle multiple times, redownloaded evrima multiple times. I know of multiple people having the same issue and this has been happening ever since the diet system was first introduced. That was months ago. My drivers are up to date.

Mouse sensitivity and invert:
I've deleted my "saved" folder in my appdata file, but every time I start a new game or join a new server my sensitivity gets set back to default. On top of this annoyance, when I adjust the mouse sensitivity, the vertical movements become inverted.

Anyone know a workaround or fix for this problem?

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

If the issue persists, adding a firewall exclusion for your entire Isle game folder and then following the steps above should do it.

I think the bleed indicator/healing/clot mechanic is busted

My adult carno died to a single juvi stego tail swipe, had bleed for a bit, sat and got the +blood icon.

Was sitting for a while but still blead out approx 10minutes later

and just now I was playing as an adult stego fighting raptors

thing was this; I rolled in mud fully/had blood clot icon (darkred line blood drop) at approx 80blood meter
then when the clot icon went away; it was down by half of that closer to 30
I guess I was still bleeding even with the icon indicator?

It merely slows it down

Your bleed only stops once you see a + in your blood icon

Not too sure about that one, it seems your saved folder could be set to read only for some reason, may want to make sure your pc has permissions to modify that folder. Or

Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
