If you are getting an "Anti-cheat" error with Geforce Now, and are unable to open The Isle Evrima due to issues with Geforce Now, try the following.

1. Open The Isle and then close it.
2. There should be a little green cube icon, keep that open and start installing EVRIMA.
3. When the installation finishes, enter Steam's Big Picture mode and open The Isle from there.

Thanks the Anti Cheat error is gone but now my friend is stuck in an infinite loop of loading for the servers (Basically he's stuck in Scanning all frequencies [servers])
We also retried to verify the files and everythings still valid

I had this issue before to were it would say the easy anti cheat wasn't installed- and even installing the anti cheat on it's own didn't work. I eventually fixed it by launching another game with Easy Cheat and than launching the isle right after.

Also it seems the map not loading or rendering is due to how much RAM the isle is currently sucking up. Running the isle my RAM is at 80% usage- I quit Isle and it drops to 4%

Yesterday I couldn't load the map since the patches and I noticed that I had the whole day some connectivity issue with heavy lag spikes.
This morning, my connectivity issues seem gone, no more lag spikes and the map could load, slower than it used to be, instead of 20/30secs it took a minute but it worked. It might be a lead to solve this issue? I don't know, I'm just sharing a possible thought.

Ahhhh this has been happening an awful lot to my friend and its fucking horrible. He can't play the game. For now we found a temporary solution.
Try minimizing your graphics as best as you can, I suggest having most settings at 'Medium' so it's still more bearable at low. High might work too... also try turning down your render scale to the lowest temporarily, and putting it back up when you get in the game.

Not really sure what the issue is but these things sorta work. If it doesn't work for you then I'm sorry but its a hit or miss if you wanna play Evrima, its like that with my friend. ):

I don't know if this is exactly the correct place to put this but whenever I play Evrima this issue always occurs even across systems. This might be a steam specific issue but it only ever occurs with The Isle and not any other games.

I know of a temporary fix but I was hoping for some insight on a more permanent solution to this issue if there is one that is available.

okay, that's the problem sotry if I miss some words. So, you launch Evrima , you go on play, then the server browser appear with the list of official servers. When you click or double click on a server it do nothing, no connect button. The message " Data acquisition in progress" get on the screen for like 1sec and then screen go back to servers browser.

And then specificaly, when i click a server in the middle of the list for example, the other servers in the list just depop

Alright. Try the following if you can, let me know if it doesn't work

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

Make sure your drivers GPU and Windows are up to date as well

I play The Isle, and now Evirma with a controller due to issues with tendinitis in my hands. Controllers are much easier for me to hold and use, and prevent flareups while gaming for long periods. All that being said, I’ve never run into trouble using the mapping system via steam with The Isle.

I noticed that Evirma has an in game mapping system for the game pad so I mimicked my steam mapping to the game pad mapping as best as I could. However when I try to map my buttons on the controller, it doesn’t function correctly. For example, vocal broadcast for me is the top button of my dpad. I click on the area beside broadcast vocal to map the button, and it actually maps the section ABOVE the area I wanted to map, which is a completely different mechanic button of the game. If I keep pressing the top button of my dpad, several other sections above map to that button as well. I’ve also come across where mapping the buttons enters keys from my keyboard to the function I want mapped rather than anything present on my controller.

Hello there, yes sometimes Evrima has some controls issues that you may need to run a fix for that sometimes works, let me repost it, you can find common fixes in pins FYI

When you are encountering issues with the escape menu and/or inability to properly use keybinds/controls, try this:

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located. No adverse effects will take place by deleting this folder, it will reset your keybinds to the correct keys.

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

I have a little more info if it helps any. My evrima has been having problem after problem (im pretty sure one was because of me).
First, my game ALWAYS tells me theres no app configuration when i download it on steam, and i have to clear my download cache for the error to go away.

Second, my grouping was broken so i found some sketchy thread saying "delete the 'saved' folder in local appdata" so i did it and it seemed to just corrupt my game further. Reinstalled the game.

Third, my easy anti cheat wouldnt load. Reinstalled the game. Game worked for a day and now here i am with the graphics bug after installing legacy and reinstalling evrima.

So my game might just be broken idk

if you are playing on a laptop, it might be a little different; in which case you have to find your Library and then click on each game that you want to remove. The “remove from library” option is usually located next to the play option. Just make sure you get to the game description and you’ll see the options hovering just above the game description, but just under the in game photo gallery.

I can't wait till I can play Evrima again, That is unless the endless void of seawater loading chunks is optimized. I can be in the bathroom for 30 minutes, still flying and floating above the sea being able to see EVERYONE as there is No vegetation WHATSOEVER XD I know the team ain't focused on optimization ect ect (I know all the jazz/news so plz for gods sake explain something I don't already know) Even with my potato pc, I was able to play Old Evrima nicely. But now its to the point that even if I log into a server, I simply cannot play due to me floating in unloaded chunks and endless seawater voids and literally seeing more than the devs can even with /nametags command on lol I know people have had the same problems with unloaded chunks and of course my system (Lenovo DT) has something to do with it, but I can play Legacy just fine, Internet aside cuz thats my problem. If someone can DM talk to me on what they've done, I'll just checkmark it and say I've Probs done it cuz goodlord I've done alot of stuff just to play on a server even with my potato lag, yet alone the unloaded chunks I was able to handle beforehand with simple H sleep waiting chunk loading.

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

I think it basically scans through your files and finds whats wrong by comparing it to other game files then fixes it

when I did it I had to download some update which took a while, and then the problem you had showed up so I verified the game files again and it worked well, dont really know what happened

Okay I am having something of an odd problem. My game will start, and will get to that first blue fancy loading screen, and then it will stop responding. I have to open task manager to stop it as well. Anyone know what's going on there?

There is no fix except wait a patch or upgrade your computer because the reason is a lack of optimization from the game with old specs, especially old CPUs.
The reason are your i5 old gen or equivalent in perfs

Hello, I encounter the UE4 Fatal Error when launching the Isle Evrima, before you say it. Yes, I've tried all of the pinned posts, I've gone to the steam forums and reddit forums and tried, verifying integrity, reinstalling, not touching the game for a few days and trying again, updating drivers, clearing cache, delete all of the files and reinstalling, running as administrator and many more. Nothing is working. I've been trying to play Evirma with my friend for an inconceivable amount of time at this point it's extremely frustrating please help.

I have played the game for half a year with bugs, but I preferer having my dino deleted like in upd 3 rather than the bugs currently existing on upd4.

I love this game to death, but after looking forward to Evirma for such a long period of time and then it being mostly unplayable during it's whole duration is very upsetting.

I wish there'd been more update about patching from the staff. I don't even look forward to the new updates for the game, I just want my game to work. All my friends who I used to play with have abandoned it.

And this screen shows up all the time i log in some times it solve out and show up on other places on the map... If you're already trying to play on your lowest settings, it's not really your fault that the game is working badly for you.
This is due Isle's current optimisation- tile loading especially.
If your PC/Laptop is on the lower-end of the "Gaming Spec" spectrum, there's nothing you can do until they are able to optimise more

I would suggest, although the game is probably not going to work for your PC and others for a while with good FPS, suggest that you might clean your PC if you haven't, reapply thermal paste on your CPU- just anything that can help your PC.

I log on this morning and when I click on NA server 3 it did not have my croc but a utah baby instead, I logged off then back on and it was back to the croc. Does anyone know why it takes so long to load in, in evrima? For me it can take up to 20 minutes just to spawn in and I have all my graphics settings and whatnot at medium and low so idk what’s going on. Also it can take longer just to spawn in. My friend recently downloaded the isle evrima, but when she goes to launch it, the startup screen shows and then a black screen. Then it crashes with a file error ill show below. We've tried verifying file integrity but it's lead to the second screenshot, is there anything else we could do? we've searched everywhere.

You start the isle, click exit then maximize the steam window in the corner. You then update the game to Evrima and go to big picture mode. After that you can play Evrima. Dont launch evrima in not-big picture mode tho

You could try pinging official server admin to let them know you are stuck. If someone is available they could get you. I'd also report the spot in #🐞-evrima-bug-reports-🐞.

Alongside that, you can also try relogging beforehand.
Usually that bug can turn you into a juvie utahraptor.

but if you're still the same playable, first thing to do ultimately is just go to your allocated server channel (eg. #evrima-na)

yeah, I had to give up. map still didn’t load in after several dinos died and after many restarts and verifies of file integrity. nothing was working. I was dying to either starvation time after time or a player would run up and kill me. game is unplayable for me atm.

Hey guys, today I logged onto the official Evrima EU1 server that I played on yesterday. Nonetheless I was somehow teleported to the map border with 0% growth. Again I did not select a new dinosaur. (I Am 100% sure i safe logged the other day and was an adult).

Is this a know bug, and can I somehow get my dino restored? Thanks in advance.

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall, may need to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS can cause the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. You may need to upgrade your system. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system". You may have an unstable version of Windows as well, If it's not a GPU under our recommended minimum specs. Try reinstalling Windows if that's the case.

If none of the above works, you likely have too old a GPU and need to upgrade your PC or, you can wait for a possible update or fix. Evrima is a new game, it has new tech in it, it will not be as easy to run as Legacy. If you find yourself having this specific error, you're likely needing to upgrade your pc, or consider the switch over to Geforce Now, which can run The Isle Evrima very well, depending on which subscription you get.

I and multiple other ppl have this issue too, I’ve been told by a few ppl that there’s no fix for it. I spent 4 hours trying to get the map to load doing various things on my pc to try to fix evrima but I wouldn’t work sadly I hope they can get a patch out to fix it soon

tried uninstalling and reinstalling, tried restarting my pc, tried to see if anything was out of date w my graphics drivers, tried verifying files between each thing too. nothing would fix it. I tried to get the map to load for so long that several dinos died to starvation and twice to other players and all that loaded of the map at that point was a River and a couple of trees. everything else was just me glitching and ocean lmao 🥲
