i need help, when i down load evrima and play, get into a server, pick my dino and spawn point, i spawn but there is no ground and i can only see water, and players but nothing else, like litterly nothing but water, players, mud, and probaly a phew rocks in the distance, can you see if you can help me out?

Guys, i discovered what was causing the issue that appears a lot of shadow on the ground, usually on the grass, and causes shadows flicking too. At least what i found was related to Radeon GPUs and Unreal 4. If someone got any problem like i described, plz, let me know and i'll explain it here!

Often when I'm eating something my dino freezes and I can't move or interact with anything. The only thing that will unfreeze me is relogging but half the time when I come back someone is taking my food or straight up eating me, so its really annoying.

Hi, I didn't have answer to my last question, I hope you only didn't see it. I downloaded Evrima, and when I tried join server I had message "Data acquisition in progress" and it stayed on "radar" until this time. I tried to restart my computer, re-install Evrima and join empty and not empty servers, but nothing could help. Can you please say is it my problem or server, and can I fix it? Thank you very much.

AA has a type setting and a quality setting

"Ghosting" is usually caused by DLSS being enabled

reset your settings like 2 times, helped it a lot for me and it dropped down from 10 minute+ loading time to like 5 minutes loading time

you might need more memory depending on your pc's specs. restarting your pc or opening task manager and closing out the isle from there should help

Okay, so, whenever I try and launch Evrima, I get that 'fatal error line 258' message. Per recommendation I installed the latest graphics driver available for my computer (Radeon). Not only do I still get the 'fatal error' message, but now my screen fluoresces bright yellow when the game tries to start. What do I do?

having this same issue with a completely capable pc. Used to play the legacy edition no issues. Now if my game manages to load past the startup, sometimes even to the server loading screen (gasp!), it gets to this point and no further before freezing up my entire device. This is honestly ridiculous that its still having these issues over a year into being available! I have plenty of ram, plenty of memory, everything is accounted for. Tried all the fixes they suggest, redownloaded, verified files, checked online. Nothing works.

When I had this issue I uninstalled the game, and deleted all residual files, then Uninstalled easy anticheat and did a fresh install of the isle

It doesn't help with the map loading issues though

unfortunate, troubleshooting can only go so far until it gets very technical but these are just basic solutions, even then there are no promises of it working

Having same issues, the map isn't loading and sounds are disappearing.

Even the character menu icons are not loading.

On top of that the game's framerate seems to be stable but severe lag spikes appear (the game freezes for a couple of seconds).

My menus are loading too just not the map, it each chunk takes ages to load, put sound disappearance and lag spikes on top of that and the game is unplayable despite my PC falling above the minimum requirements. It's really frustrating, the hotfix hasn't fixed it, it's been like that before.

the only solution ive seen is trying to minimize the screen (windowed mode) but otherwise a lot of people are having the same issue. there's a couple of unplayable bugs that still need fixing when everyone's off break

Hey man! Yep, exact same as you. I contacted them requesting this exactly. I got some generic offshore agent telling me that Evrima isn't officially supported so that was that. I replied saying I understand, but to be fair it runs perfectly fine other than this issue, and that I just need my save files wiped. I pointed out that there should be an option that allows users to delete their save files on their own because it causes issues with many other games and would be a very useful feature. Something like what Shadow PC has where you can click a "reset my Shadow PC" button from your account page. It would be nice if we had an option to do it ourselves by clicking something either through the client or through our account page on the website. Anyway, this was on Dec 31st, and I never heard back from support again

Yeah they should add an option for that on GFN. I contacted them and managed to get the agent to look into it more, he has sent my information to an engineer at GFN, he said it might take upto a week to look into it. I'll let you know if it gets fixed

Hey sorry. I didn't know that you replied. So Evrima has a bug where if you click the "Reset" button from within the settings menu, it will cause the settings options to go haywire and many of them get outright deleted. A ton of my settings options got deleted from the axis portion of the menu, like my mouse X and Y axis, so now my mouse no longer works to move the camera around. Some of my movement keys no longer work either. So basically the game is currently unplayable for me. A number of people have posted about this evidently, like @thin oracle . This is usually a pretty easy fix by just going into the game files and editing the config file to add back the options, or just outright deleting it and letting Steam verify game integrity and create a brand new default file, but many users like @thin oracle and myself play the game on GFN (GeForce Now), which is a cloud game streaming service where we don't have access to the game files. It's not our local PC. So we're at the mercy of non-technical read-a-script offshore GFN customer service agents, or the devs to fix the bug so everything will be reset back to normal. I'll post a screenshot to my original post on here as well

Ya definitely let me know if they fix it for you because my agent just outright stopped replying. Opened the ticket on the 27th of Dec. Got a reply on the 31st. Replied same day and never heard back. Ticket is still open (just checked), and I can confirm I selected "yes, I would like a reply". I doubt I hear back. The best solution is if the devs can just fix it because then with that patch I would imagine our settings options will go back to normal. Or we would literally press "Reset" and everything will go back to as it should. It sucks not being able to participate in the game right now in any way whatsoever

Quick logging usually fixes that. If it doesn't work the first time keep quick logging until it does.
(Note this is a bug so it's not guaranteed to work, please be patient and wait for bug fixes.)

@cloud crow Hey Punch, I know you guys are busy, but you guys haven't figured out any settings NVIDIA users could use to reduce Ghosting? The wispiness that follows images in game when using DLSS have you? Or has anyone else for that matter? DLSS works beautifully in game and looks great, but the ghosting is pretty heavy. It may just be a fixture for DLSS right now.

I turned off all Anti Aliasing and turned off TAA. I put AA on Low and still the same with Ghosting.

Map not loading bug is caused by hardware issue, you need to optimise your pc which fixed it for me

By following the YouTube videos it certainly helps with fps and for your character to load in faster. But it sadly doesn't get rid of the problem all together.

people should definitely optimize their GPU but it still needs a hotfix

This bug needs to be fixed because my friends and I loose our dinos so quickly once it happens, you start walking only in one direction. You cannot stop yourself, you cannot go into any other direction. You can't alt attack, nothing. You just keep walking forward and only forward and just get pounced by either many utahs or rammed by carnos, it's so frustrating
