Right click on TheIsle in your steam library > Properties > Local game Files > Verify Integrity Of Local Game files
This will cause Steam to check if the app’s files are installed properly, if not, Steam should repair them automatically

I'd suggest checking the pinned messages - and yes, its quite common it will ask you for username / password; thats not the anticheat - but your Windows due to UAC.

Its basically you telling your Windows that "Yes, you have the rights to install"

I am on the normal evrima branch , not the testing not QA, the normal one. Anyone who tries to join eu 2 get in and their screen is black, cant do anything, then with the newest update which was like a month ago they broke them game causing u to lose ur dino when u logout in any way and if the server restarts and u join back in, ur dino gets the vomit debuff.

These people literally stay up most of the night to fix glitches and bugs for us, and rght now they're working on all of that in update 4/4.5, which will be released once they fix the server glitches and check on all dino diets, until then you'll just have to deal with the fact you're playing an early access game.. Steam literally states that there can be bugs in early access games, so if you've got such an issue with it then by all means uninstall the game. As a game graphics student it pisses me off when people dont stop and think that the devs are humans too and need to eat and sleep, they can't constantly be reading discord to hear you whining when they've got work to do

Two day in a row can not play. when i click on connect, firstly i get loading screen, then when usually it opened menu to choose the dino, this time i had just black screen, i have this issue for two days. I have no idea, why, because i did not change anything. Steam just updated it and that`s all. After the problem, i reinstalled several time, with my internet i can do it 100 times, but nothing helped. Trying different versions havent helped either. All drivers are up to date.

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

Instructions for switching branches in The Isle on GeForce Now:
1.) Click The Isle from your GeForce Now library and launch it
2.) Wait for it get to the menu in game and close the game from the menu screen
3.) Look at the bottom left of your screen and see a Steam Tab that is currently minimized. Click it to expand it.
4.) You will see your Steam library but with only The Isle. Right click on the game, select properties and switch branches to Evrima or Quality Assurance Branch when available.
5.) Wait for it to install. Should not take more then 4-5 minutes at most. Once it's ready DO NOT click to play yet. Currently there is an issue with the new Anti-Cheat system on GeForce Now where instead of launching, several anti cheat windows pop up before crashing your game and forcing you back to the GeForce Now Library.
6.) Instead of clicking play right away, select Big Picture Mode. If you don't know how to, look at the top of your steam page. Top right should be a small button with arrows pointing in opposite directions. Click that and launch Big Picture Mode.
7.) From here you can safely launch the game without any issues.

There's not much point in finding workarounds for the QA build considering the QA builds is constantly changing and introducing new issues. I never did it for the QA team so I will not for this public test.

Attempting to launch brings up "EasyAntiCheat not installed", verifying and reinstalling does not fix the issue. Attempting to launched the EasyAntiCheat setup from inside the game files does nothing, opening EasyAntiCheat from ProgramFiles(x86) works but The Isle isn't on the list.

Respectively, and honestly, I cannot help most of you playing the QA build. This is a proverbial "too bad". It's a QA build, it's not going to be stable and there's no work arounds for it. I don't make workarounds for the QA team normally, so I won't for these QA builds. The developers are constantly updating it and changing the build introducing new crashes.

I cannot help with that. It's a waste of time. QA builds are unstable. (I'll remove this when U4 drops and continue support)

Yes I have update the drivers via NGE. No new updates there.

Verified game files aswell. A couple of times. Reinstalled the game some times just to be sure.

The crashes seem to happen ALOT in center lake ’swamp’.
In base river so far no crashes.

I have been having the issue where the game crashes after the AE logo screen on Evrima or the QA branch since the release of the QA branch. All previously posted troubleshooting steps did not resolve the issue. Only legacy is playable if all Isle content is manually deleted before legacy is reinstalled

I can't help much because it seems like an optimisation issue.
But, always make sure your drivers are up to date- I know Nvidia just released a new Driver update on Geforce Experience.

You can also try logging in and out. These don't always work as- you know- optimisation is pain

you should be using a GPU with Evrima.
It's highly recommended, seeing as it's both very unoptimized and heavy on rigs

On the public evrima branch there is a saving bug where your dinosaur most likely won't save. It has been fixed in the QA branch but unfortunately it seems will not be fixed on the public branch until update 4 is released. Although it can be frustrating, please remember you are playing on a beta branch and there will occasionally be major issues present.

Having an issue on QA that I cant seem to find any help for whatsoever so I’m trying here, when I join a server and try to spawn in, the map and ground beneath is left un loaded, the water and plants load, as do other players and their actions are very clear, however I am stuck floating and bouncing in the air unable to do anything for hours, it takes long enough for my newly spawn to starve to death or be killed by another player.
I have tried validating files, deleting the saved files, and deleting all files and reinstalling entirely. Its literally just the games map never loading while I am stuck floating and I have not found any others with the same issue

Literally none of the controls in-game work. Tab to view the players list doesn't work, Can't switch between general, global and private chat, nothing. There's only 3 spawn locations available, so right off the bat, that's not right. Adding servers to your favorites doesn't work. Did I just join in at a bad time, or is it always this bad?

You can't do a lot of things in Evrima that you could in legacy. It is recoded from scratch. Most of function will also come to Evrima. Just because legacy has more functions than Evrima does not make it better. Quality over quantity people
