I’m having this issue where I’m trying to join server and it starts to load but within seconds it kicks me back out to the main menu and after trying a couple times to join a server I got a fatal error message <@&818552355796287508>

I'm trying to play on Evrima and it says easy anti cheat is not installed every time. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling, verifying my game files, installing legacy then installing evrima, and none of it has worked. Am I just now not able to play anymore?

Update: It's no longer letting me even verify the integrity, the percent and bar stays empty after 2 hours of waiting and does not progress or start.

Fixed it by using the setup.exe and a steam restart

Bro, are the developers gonna fix the fps issues on evrima any time soon? Because on legacy, i get good FPS. Around 70fps on high settings, but on evrima. I get no more than 30.

Ive tried everything. At this point, its not even me, im curious to how legacy is very friendly with fps, but evrima isnt.

I had the same problem but all I had to do was verify the game files, completely close out steam and start it again, verify files once more, start the game regularly, and it worked

They already told you that you need to update your directx to the current version either by having the most current Windows 10, updating it manually yourself, or re-installing Windows.

if you have a Windows 10, it is highly unlikely it's due to not having DirectX12.
If it's not an issue with your OS, it's more common being an issue with your GPU and/or drivers

If servers are not showing up:

1. Click Steam in the top left of your Steam library.
2. Go to Settings > In-Game > click the bottom dropdown box and change your max pings to 1000. Note: You may need to play around with the best setting for you. Some players have reported 500 works better for them.

IF that doesn't work, follow this: Open an Administrator level command prompt

1. Type in CMD on your windows search through your computer.
2. Right click Command Prompt
3. Click Run as Admin. It'll open a black weird box

Same goes for you, first try selecting 'hide empty' refresh see if they show up, if not give a read through that document

i need some help, i reinstalled the game now for the 4. game, when i install it and try to lunch it the error "easy anti cheat is not installed" comes, when i try to manually install it, it wont open up, when i try to search for errors / missing files i can launch the game but dont have any official servers in game and only a few private hostet servers, 2 days ago i could normally play and didnt change anything, i really dont know anything more, google search only tells me steps i already done multiple times and it still wont work, getting kinda depressed. sry for the english its not my main language.

It's the card that handles all the graphics your pc can run at a given time. If a new game is made, usually it needs a decent gpu to run it. An older game though, you can use older GPU's with.

Out of those two you want to use the second. However obviously thats not the strongest gpu by any means, its very low-end and probably on the verge of being actually able to run the game at a playable state.

The Isle does not support Intel HD graphics as far as i know, so second one is your bet!

Hello there folks, I am having a few problems playing EVRIMA, I have tried filling out the Bug formula but some things don’t fit, so:

1. I cannot access the settings in-Game nor does the „ESC“ button do anything. Button works, checked on other Programms.
2. I am missing a few controls, as example I am unable of using or finding the „Airbrake“ in the settings. It just does not exist.
   (Tested on official servers, no change)

I repaired the game, I reinstalled it nothing...
(Uninstalled via Steam, reinstalled, tested, didn’t work, deleted safe folder manually, reinstalled, didn’t work)

Additionally I recently grew a Pteranodon, logged out and when I came back I was a baby Utah and got teleported outside of the map, I looked it up on the Map online, I was in the grey zone and stuck there, unable to get back to the normal map.
(Happened on unofficial servers as the officials are kinda empty and as such boring to play on )

Ended up never getting help for that EAC issue, fixed it by using the EAC setup. However the setup closes immediately and it re-broke when switching back to evrima. Verifying files & setup does not work and I’d like to be able to play evrima.

Setup.exe closes immediately if I try to launch it, even as administrator.

Hello, can anybody help me understand what is going on here. Ever since the most recent update, every time i play evrima my pc will force restart. I have tried everything in my knowledge to try and fix this problem. It only happens when playing the isle. Windows is up to date, drivers are up to date i have uninstalled, deleted files and reinstalled but it still keeps happening. When i load into a server my pc will just crash, if im lucky i get a few minutes of play time. Does anyone know of any explanation for this issue?

alright... are there any known problems with getting into servers? up until this week I've had no issue, but lately I cannot connect to servers for more than 5 mins, if it all.
usually I would just pick a server, load in, and play but lately I either don't get in and get sent to the main menu (on servers that are not full) or I load in, float on a loading map then crash back to main menu.
my ping also jumps up to 1000 from ~100 between trying to get into a server and crashing. I haven't changed anything about my set up beyond upgrading my gpu to a 2070.

could the memory leak also be the problem here?

For 3 Months or so i couldnt play The Isle. Still cant.
I launch it. AE logo. UE Logo. Blackscreen. "Isle stopped responding" after a minute or so.
I did a complete new Installation (Manual). Deleted save folder. Updated drivers. Etc etc.

I have Win. 8.1, a GTX 1050Ti and a good processor. Never had any trouble. Until Update 3.5.

my problem is that i can only see 3 to 2 servers TAPKIN" and other 2 empty servers, I used to keep refreshing till official EU servers show(when I was in the old department ). but now after i moved to new house) they do not. internet speed was 3 to 1 MBs but after I moved 1MBs 4G connection, anyhow when I take my PC and go to computer shop where they have good connection using Router all servers show up. this problem i found many people having it sometimes with people using routers with a good connection . but this only happen with the isle other games are good and good ping

(2) Click on the tab labeled local files, then click on "BROWSE LOCAL FILES"

(3) This will take you to the game's directory, delete everything in this folder

(4) After deleting, go back to the properties menu and click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

(5) This will retrieve all of the deleted game files, and reinstall. When you relaunch the game, you should be able to join a server without issue

if your game would be installed on steam you would have the local file option

but it isnt so the option is missing

that means you either have the game installed but not for steam and ur running it with geforce while the files are somehwere on your harddrive or you dont have evrima as beta installed and ur trying to run it.

Hello. I have safe logged twice and both times, I have lost my Deinosuchus, meaning even though I waited 60 seconds and got kicked out of the game (safe logged), someone found my body and ate me. That or the game isn't saving my info.

You can try and quick log (press Alt F4 or pressing leave without sleeping) <-- this doesn't always work. But it's worth the try

SAFE LOG BUG SOLUTION : with 3 days testing i can confirm so far that the bug seems to be time-related (players offline time on server). i still keep my adult stego safed (with quick logout instead sleeping) and with (currently) up to 8hours offline time which safes the dino. Ive tested with DEINOSUCHUS too (on oother server)...it workes too (so far) with 10 hours. i highly assume the deadend for loosing the dino from server is 12 hours offline-time.

The evrima was always heavier, so I had to put it on bass at 30 FPS. After the last update, it started giving the famous error 258. It did work, but I think the issue may be when the server restarts or when there is a long period of time after logging. I quick logged and I came back and I was still there. I then safe logged twice and both times, I came back to the same spot. This was all within a 5-10 minutes time frame. I just got on now, around 15 hours after doing the safe logs, and my dino is gone. 3 hours of work (15 hours over the course of 3 days)... and nothing. Is it the server or the game? I don't know why I am going to play if this keeps happening, lol.

I been having control problems for a while, first I cant air break with z at all as ptera and the keybind to do air break doesnt exist in the settings option, second alt+attack attacks doesnt work, whatever its tenonto claw swipe or tail slam or deino 360 bite doesnt work but alt mode yes, i been tried to delete appdata saved file but only bring the game on a weird resolution that blocks my monitor and im unable to change it.

The unique thing I can give explanation but cant be the cause as I had legacy isle in other folder too both of their saved files got fused causing corruption in keybind in evrima

Hey guys! When i open up evrima and lunch a server. It takes me to this screen

It sounds like several people are having trouble with Evirima opening. I am running into maybe a similar, but slightly different issue than MyHeRoFoR all above. I get to this screen and I can't click "I understand" to get to the area where you then click "Play" to load servers. I have unininstalled and then re-installed the game on steam and my computer. I have verified game files. Nothing seems to have worked. I am running this game on a Windows. Is anyone else running into this? I will also message <@&818552355796287508> now to bring attention to this. Thanks!

Okay so the last days ive been having this issue, what happens is that I play on a server,do a "SAFE" log out, comes back the next day on the same server.. and boom. My dino is gone and I appear in the character selection menu. Anyone wh ohas the similar probleme?

Yes its been happening to majority of players. Bug from last patch and I heard they do know about it but we won't be getting more patches until update#4

I have been having an issue with my fps ever since the last update. In the past I was always able to run the game at 60 fps so it is needless to say that I was surprised when I joined the game again only for my eyes to bleed thanks to the 20 fps. After asking around I was told that it is because of old textures that remained in the game after that last patch. Is this true? If so, do I have to wait for the next patch to fix this issue or can I do something about it manually?
