I have recently installed both evrima and legacy at the same time, now i'm done with evrima i'd like to delete it and get my legacy back to my main because now i can not open it as easy as i used to be able to. Does any1 know how to get my isle legacy map back into my main map and get it like it used to be before? i tried simply replacing the files and that didnt work.

If i had to guess, i'd say it's because it's an American server, and i'm from Europe. Had trouble connecting to 'murican servers since the open QA got a patch.

The problem for me is, I've done everything on my end to stop the bug, and nobody knows why it's happening. I can't play when I get dc'd either 5 seconds or 2 hours into playing, because then if the server fills up while I'm dc'd then I suffer. Whoops my bad should've become a dev and fixed it myself.

Unfortunately mate, i don't know the solution. Wish i'd do.

on my note though:
I can't see server(s) ingame, that i can see in the Steam server finder.
And even there, it shows for a moment, then it says "no game found under the IP".
While my friend plays on said server. (I'm European, she's American)
How can i play on that server (which i used to play on before)

Hello! I need some help please. When I try to start the game through Steam, an error call "Fatal Error" makes me close the game. How can I fix it?

@whole cedar (1) Right click on the Isle in your steam games list, and click on "Properties"

(2) Click on the tab labeled local files, then click on "BROWSE LOCAL FILES"

(3) This will take you to the game's directory, delete everything in this folder

(4) After deleting, go back to the properties menu and click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

(5) This will retrieve all of the deleted game files, and reinstall. When you relaunch the game, you should be able to join a server without issue

so i still have the same issue as before, evrima keeps pausing as soon as it finishes downloading. i've tried stopping steam with task manager and logging back in, i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, etc. nothing works and now the game won't even start downloading because it pauses itself....

Hi is anyone able to help me please, I launch the game and the menu is all janky, I f11 so that is a temporary fix and change from windowed to full screen, or even windowed fullscreen then apply, f11 back to the game but the menu remains janky even after applied, no matter how many times I change the options and reset the game. does anyone have a solution please?

You should try a VPN tbh.

Its a common issue if a server is empty, or located in another region they might not be found ingame (But found through steams server browser)

Try to use a vpn to swap to the same region as the server, and play with Hide full/Hide Empty on the filters.

  • Helped 4 people so far with the same issue.

So after creating a script to convert the individual 457 ban files our server had on legacy to the single file format of evrima, our evrima server started to lag hard. Commands took up to 20 seconds to go through, people started losing connection, etc. All bans showed in the admin panel ban list correctly so the script worked properly. Removed the ban file and the server worked fine like before.

TLDR: Is there any known limit to how large the evrima ban file can be (or a limit on number of bans) before it causes lag? Is this a known issue or do I need to submit a bug report?

Someone halp! I really enjoyed playing at ptera during the stress tests and everything was pretty great as far as movement and gameplay was concerned but as soon as it was switched back to the normal evrima and I tried playing the game is very laggy and the ptera’s flight movements are wacky like I am flying and my turns are so quick that I basically stay still while turning in the air

(1) Right click on the Isle in your steam games list, and click on "Properties"

(2) Click on the tab labeled local files, then click on "BROWSE LOCAL FILES"

(3) This will take you to the game's directory, delete everything in this folder

(4) After deleting, go back to the properties menu and click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

(5) This will retrieve all of the deleted game files, and reinstall.

4: Incomplete Steam Files: Steam often works with Unreal Engine. If its game/installation files are corrupt or incomplete, you will experience the error message under discussion.
5: NVIDIA GeForce Settings: These modules are also known to conflict with the game. Disabling the module or disabling specific settings usually solves the problem.
6: Overclocking: Overclocking might give your PC the push it needs but is known to cause issues or conflicts with heavy resource-consuming applications. Disabling Overclocking might do the trick for you.

Hi everybody!
I need some help from some of the people that know more about the game.
So I m currently trying to figure something out. Playing with a Controller seems to work quite good. Tho some settings are...wonky.
So I looked into the Input.ini file.

The only thing I cant seem to get to work are the B attacks.

ActionMappings=(ActionName="PrimaryAttackB",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=True,bCmd=False,Key=Gamepad_LeftTrigger)

ActionMappings=(ActionName="SecondaryAttackB",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=True,bCmd=False,Key=Gamepad_RightTrigger)

The section with (bAlt=True) seems to work as trigger for them Since the B attacks are triggered when i actually press ALT on the keyboard and use the button assigned above for the attack. So I thought changing these to a different button on the Gamepad will fix that.

Just as an example. But by doing this nothing is happening. The game only seems to recognize bAlt as a modifier and nothing else.

I also tried to set

incase bAlt is getting pulled out of here.

Anyone has experience with this or another solution that might fix that. Only other idea I came up with would be an emulator that tells the game LEFT_ALT is pressed but actually it would be a button on the gamepad.

Keep getting kicked off a server after a few seconds.
I was able to play for about two hours before I started getting kicked from every server. It seemed to start right after I got to adult suco. I have tried everything. My Geforce drivers are updated, I put the game folder in an Allow List on Malwarebytes, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I changed the Server browser pings to 500 (Saw this in a video). I am desperate none of my other friends are having this problem. Help plz 🙂

My game keeps dying giving me this message

I've currently tried:

  • Deleting the Saved folder
  • Uninstalling the game through Steam and Reinstalling
  • Deleting the game folder instead of uninstalling through Steam and Reinstalling
  • Verifying Game folder multiple times
  • Making sure all Drivers and everything is updated in my PC
  • Making sure my PC isn't blocking anything in the game
  • Obviously checking that my PC can run the game (should be more than able to)

Any other ideas on How to solve this...?
Makes the game unplayable for me and it's incredibly frustrating ;-;

Hey, brand new player. Just installed. Tried hosting a private and just got black screen. Did some googling and it seems this is an intentionally removed feature for now. Fair enough. I need help, I had a Deino on NA#1 and a Carno on NA#2. I switched from 2 back to 1 and when I did it spawned me in as a fresh Carno. So the game confused my dinos and deleted my deino character? I just want my deino back.

Hi guys does anyone else have a problem with the fps just dropping to like 10-15 frames randomly for a few seconds? Doesn't happen with any other game. The GPU utilization also drops to like 10-20%. It's a 1080.The card isn't overheating so its not throttling, I've also locked the fps at 60 to see if it helps but no luck. It just turns into a slide show occasionally for no apparent reason.

If you cannot play Evrima due to error 'CreateProcess() returned 2e4' go to your Isle.exe in Steamapps/common/TheIsle.
Right click the .exe>Hit Properties>Compatibility>Uncheck 'Run this program as administrator'

Then go into The Isle/The Isle/Binaries/Win64/ Right click 'TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe > Properties>Compatibility and Uncheck 'Run this program as administrator'

It's possible this is caused by having your game installed on the wrong drive. Make sure it installed correctly.

Has the hotfixes done anything to help with evrima servers not showing in the server list? Since update 3 there are two servers that don't show up on the list for me. Can't direct connect snd refreshing/ changing the ping setting only works for ONE. Neither show up if filter by name and the other server will not display on the list no matter WHAT I do. Tried in the server's discord but they are out of options for me to try and suggested I ask on official discord. I have not as of yet had a chance to install the hotfixes...maybe when I get home from work tonight...
