To manually change your texture settings for those who cannot do so in game, do the following

Press Windows key > Type in "Run" > Launch Run program > Type in "%localappdata%\TheIsle\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini" > find sg.TexturesQuality=x Set that to a lower/higher number > Press CTRL S (Save it)
Textures=x, you replace x with a number. 0=low, 1=medium, 2=high,3=epic, 4=cinematic

If you find yourself getting booted back to the menu after attempting to join a stress test server it's likely because the server is full, even if the playercount says otherwise. That's because of the sheer amount of users attempting to connect to these servers, resulting in the playercounts not displaying the correct number immediately

Alternatively you may be on the wrong branch, if that's the case then see "Branch selection".

hmm the same issue is still happening.. i tried updating the isle so i can do the qa thing in order to join evrima servers, but when it finishes downloading it pauses automatically? if i press "resume" it instantly repauses :/

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

I'm wondering if it's only an issue I've experienced or if anyone else has but my game froze while I was a 59% raptor so I had to force close it and rejoined the game and continued playing.
However after an hour later I noticed my friend was full grown and I wasnt even though we spawned at the same time.

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.

Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar.
Type %LOCALAPPDATA% in there and open your %LOCALAPPDATA% folder.

Search for TheIsle folder and delete it. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

Manually uninstall and reinstall, don't use steam, you have to delete The Isle folders.

(1) Right click on the Isle in your steam games list, and click on "Properties"

(2) Click on the tab labeled local files, then click on "BROWSE LOCAL FILES"

(3) This will take you to the game's directory, delete everything in this folder

(4) After deleting, go back to the properties menu and click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

(5) This will retrieve all of the deleted game files, and reinstall. When you relaunch the game, you should be able to join a server without issue

Im switching back to Evrima from legacy and I dont know where else to put this, but does anyone else have this issue with the isle? It is the only game I have on steam that will literally go all the way down to like 150Kb a second download when every other game on steam downloads at 100MB. I have 1000 down, so my download speed isn't the issue and steam shouldn't be the issue either since this is the only game that does this. Any pointers? This happens every time I switch branches

What is going on I saw update is live I open steam and I automatically downloaded 9.3gb without switching branch. While downloading I switched to evrima public branch. When 9.3gb ended it started downloading 8.9gb more

still having the same problem.. i've been trying to download evrima qa so i can play on the official servers, but everytime it finishes downloading it pauses out of nowhere? if i try to press "resume", it just automatically pauses again. i've tried exiting out of steam(closing steam through task manager), and redownloading multiple times but it still does this :/

This is my 4th time attempting this game over the course that Evrima has been release. Each time i have not been able to move around or even look around w my mouse. I have reset my controls but that still dosnt fix it. My left turn makes me attack and my forward button dosnt work. Anyone have thie problem??

Textures=x, you replace x with a number. 0=low, 1=medium, 2=high,3=epic, 4=cinematic
If you find that the in-game settings don't change after doing this, you have to change all of the settings except "ResolutionQuality" to one number. (AKA all of them have to be 0, or 1, or 3.)

Hello, i bought and installed the game yesterday. I am trying to play Evrima. Everytime i open the game i get the greetings islanders message, where it prompts you to click i unterstand, but it doesn't let me passed that point. I can't click the prompt.
