I didn't take a screenshot but there is a hole I got stuck inside by the water cavern as an Adult Deino. The cavern has a land opening, waterfall and water opening thats quite a tight fitting. That water opening entrance is where my Deino got stuck. Game is great so far!

Hey guys, i don't know what's happening. Every time i pounce on the back of any dinosaur playing the utahraptor, i can't let go. It just keep attacking until my stamina runs out or until i hit a tree, no matter what I do. Is there a solution for that?

Why does the game have a sudden drop in FPS when a handful of players gather in one region? Usually when I'm playing I'm at 144-100 FPS but when i go into a region with players about 15 or more i drop from 50-20 FPS sometimes depending on how many are there before it steadies out for a little but occasionally drops. So I figured out my problem. I'm using a program called CoreTemp which shows your core temperatures on your desktop. It was the reason why every time when I tried to click the "I understand" button my screen kept flashing and changing resolution. Maybe an overlay issue, but for some reason the Isle started with a stupid resolution to begin with as I have dual monitors. After I closed CoreTemp I could click it and change the double monitor resolution to a normal one. Just thought I'd share this.

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

I can't join any stress server whenever I want to go to a stress server and there is just a free space, the server loads briefly and then I am back on the start screen and I am told that not everything works yet and then I click on i understand and sometimes it comes right back to where it says it doesn't all work and then I have to click on i understand again and that's how it works the whole time

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

Please someone tell me if this is normal. When playing the utahraptor, If I aim the pounce with alt + right click and hit a dinosaur, the game don't let me release of my grip. Legacy is the main branch, not completed bcuz of its broken code, so a lot (if not all) of the playables are not complete
Evrima is in development, doesnt has the same variety like Legacy has (yet) BUT the creatures are unique, they have especial abilities and the branch in general has more mechanics, totally different from Legacy

Basically of you want variety and number, choose legacy
if you want quality, choose Evrima

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.

Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar.
Type %LOCALAPPDATA% in there and open your %LOCALAPPDATA% folder.

Search for TheIsle folder and delete it. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

Hi, 4th day trying to get some answer. As an Utahraptor, when i use the alt key to aim my pounce, once it hits i cant release of the grip no matter what i do, it continues attacking until my stamina runs out completely. Hi, I bought the game today and have been getting crash to desktop on launch, I've updated my graphics drivers (AMD card) and tried a couple of solutions i've found online such as copying the AMD dlls into the binaries folder and such, but still no dice.

I've switched to evrima branch too and can't play from there either.

This is the error I'm getting

I'll try moving the game to my main drive just in case but I doubt that is the reason for the crash. I'd appreciate any help to be able to play the game since it looks great.

fukn nevermind lmao it was a problem with it being in a separate drive indeed. Note for the future I guess, possible issues between UE4 and games on different drives(?)

It's possible this is caused by having your game installed on the wrong drive. Make sure it installed correctly

Alright I was trying that but it wasn't working where I was, even all the way to the edge of the swimming trigger as a ptera. Ended up just getting eaten by a croc after like 5 mins of splashing around at the edge of the water and thirsting to death.
