Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > and delete TheIsle folder located there. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

In my experience, its mainly due to the fact that tens of hundreds of people are trying to get into the servers at the same time. To get in the "Evrima Stress Test", you have to make sure that your game is on the "Quality Assurance Branch." At least this is all I can think of. I had the same issue.

Make sure you are on the QA Branch, not Evrima. When you swap to QA branch, you cannot play on any server but the Stress Test ones.

If you are double clicking on a full server, you most likely will get booted back to main menu as well.

2. Find a server you want to join
3. Make sure you refresh until that server shows as not full
4. Open steam server browser. Go to Steam view tab, then click servers. Select the game as The Isle and the map as Isla Spiro.
5. Find the same server in steam server browser
6. Open the window for that server, select Auto Join, Alert when a slot is free
7. When you hear the beep click connect in the game server browser

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

(1) Right click on the Isle in your steam games list, and click on "Properties"

(2) click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

This helps if you have any corrupted data.

Search for TheIsle folder and delete it. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

In there you will find sg.TexturesQuality=x Set that to a lower/higher number.

Restart steam.

(1) Right click on the Isle in your steam games list, and click on "Properties"

(2) Click on the tab labeled local files, then click on "BROWSE LOCAL FILES"

(3) This will take you to the game's directory, delete everything in this folder

(4) After deleting, go back to the properties menu and click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

(5) This will retrieve all of the deleted game files, and reinstall.

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > and delete TheIsle folder located there. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

If you want to force your textures to something lower then what it currently is and it's not working through the in-game menu. You can try open up GameUserSettings.txt which you can find in C:/users/youruser/AppData/Local/TheIsle/Saved/Config/WindowsClient/GameUserSettings.txt. Scroll down and look for [ScalabilityGroups]

In there you will find sg.TexturesQuality=x Set that to a lower/higher number.

0=low, 1=medium, 2=high, 3=epic

(4) After deleting, go back to the properties menu and click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"

(5) This will retrieve all of the deleted game files, and reinstall.

And this? This would give you a clean install.
