The .dll file thing didn't work for my group. Just delete all the files, uninstall, and reinstall. Repeat until it works. Worked after my 2nd uninstall/reinstall attempt.

if you get disconnected from a server with no message or you fail to connect then it doesn't let you join any others (infinite loading screen) you gotta restart to be able to join another server or the same one you tried to join before :)

If you hit "PLAY" and it says running, then closes/stops. The fix is pinned in #🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 It's the vcruntime solution, download the file first and put that into your TheIsle file. Open TheIsle -> PROPERTIES -> Browse local files, copy/paste the vcruntime in there, then hit "PLAY" on TheIsle. It should then launch.
So when I select a server. It jumps back to the main screen. After that I get the infinite load screen when loading a second time. When I reboot the game, it repeats step one then step two again. Potential bug?

Remember, this is day one of the release. It's been 1hr since it's come out and look at how active the chats are. It's overloading the system which was bound to happen. Be patient and understand that it may take a bit longer till you can join in the server and start playing.

I got kicked out of one, haven't been able to join ever since, even if I restart the game, the same "kicked out and not being able to load in/infinite data adquisition" thing happens again. "Where's the installation folder"
Go to your steam library and right click on The Isle. -> Click properties then 'Browse local files' thats in the the Local files tab.
I fixed my file issues by checking the integrity of the game's files (In the Local files tab) and reinstalling the game (If those issues still continue)
For the infinite loading screen that you get after choosing a server, i'd say thats just the game saying that its not feeling so well rn (Dont know, after reinstalling, i was able to load into a server)
Bug: In the settings menu, only the first tab is available. Clicking the others will do nothing.

I recently restarted the game after waiting to get into a server and I believe it kind of "double starts" so to speak. It shows the notice you see after loading up the game after a certain amount of time. It may also happen while you're in a server.

Here's what I've discovered through troubleshooting. When I join a server, (Succeed or Fail) this seems to "Lock out" the other servers. If the server I play on crashes, or I am kicked out to the Title screen from a failed server connection, that's when I get the indefinite "Data Acquisition In Progress" screen on any and all servers until I close out the game and restart completely.
I've tried this several times, and the pattern is the same. To try and join a new server after a crash or failed connection, you have to restart the entire game.

A few bugs I've noticed.
On occasion I'll try to join a server but it'll give me an endless loading screen.
If I do join a server, it kicks me immediately.
I joined a server and there was only a grid. I was starving, drowning, and dehydrated at the same time.
I had no loss of stamina. I couldn't call, I couldn't sniff, and I couldn't eat.
I was then kicked from the game and sent to the play screen with no message.
I cannot rejoin any servers after this.

May I suggest those who are having issues with Evirma, much like myself, revert back to the Legacy version until things die down... I understand we are all very excited and now disappointed but I am 110% certain the devs will fix the issues very fast!

@hereNo idea if people will see this but I'll try. To use the vcruntime104 .dll file:
- Make sure you have a zip file extractor (i.e. WinZip). Download one if you dont, you WILL NEED this.
- Click the link the devs provided for the .dll file. Click Show in Folder.
- Go to Steam, right click The Isle, click Properties, click Local Files, click Browse Local Files
- Drag the vcruntime zip file INTO the The Isle file that you just opened through Steam.
- Double click the zip file and unzip (or extract, depending on your program) INTO The Isle folder you just opened through Steam.
- Once it's unzipped (or extracted), close out the windows that you don't need and click Play again. Your game should now run as intended (minus the high volume issues we're experiencing).

I have tried to enter the new servers for the past hour. I have restarted Steam about a hundred times, restarted my computer 18 times, and have uninstalled then redownloaded the game and I STILL get this stupid thing saying that the servers are "not responding." @thin oracle you just want to download the https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/723315774344921138/723316061327589437/vcruntime140_1-1.zip and then you can drag the .dll file from it to the isle files that you can search on your folder by typing this C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle

I have to say.. why does it constantly kick you out of servers when you're in and online and then you get kicked to main menu then you HAVE to restart game? That is very annoying. Is it because of the amount of people going in?
