If you are getting the ''Plugin 'ExampleDeviceProfileSelector' failed to load'' error then reinstall your game making sure your steam installation path has been wiped clean. you can do so by following these steps bellow :
Open steam and go into your library , Right click on The Isle and
select Properties.Go into the LOCAL FILES tab and click on the ''browse local files'' options.
Once you are in there , simply delete everything. Go back into your steam library and Right click - Uninstall The Isle.
You can now download it again , and restart your computer before launching it.
