Does it auto appare now? As in the mutation automatically applies? If not then it wasn't on my list. I fed my deino to a friendly Carno after a fun sparing match so can't exactly run through and check XD

I havent been able to play the isle for 2 days now, i keep getting steam subsystem failure message. I have reinstalled steam, the isle twice. Tried all the netsh winsock cmd prompts, i tried excluding the isle of the folder in the firewall, and its just not working please i have reached out to steam support they have not helped is anyone able to give me a clue why this is happening?? i have been at this for hours and its just not working

I get this error message completely randomly whilst playing the game
I didn't change anything, I received new RAM recently but this crash was happening soon before that as well
it's been starting to occur only recently, I was able to play The Isle fine before it, here are my specs:

hello, so I have reinstalled my windows (10 to 11 now, with atlasOs, fresh install). And now I have a bug in game where If i press f2 to record then stop it, it will no longer record again if I press f2 again, no matter how many times i spam it or how long I hold it. When going into menu to the replay section, every recording is bugged and says 30 minutes until watchable. I cannot interact with them. I ve seen this bug on reddit to others but I didnt find any fix. Deleted config folder, reinstalled game, verified files.

Is anyone else having this issue? I've already tried restarting my computer, I've checked for updates on my pc and checked that my steam isn't set to offline(though I doubt it'd even let me run the game if it was) and my Internet is running just fine.

It doesn't tell me this when I immediately open the game, I have to try to join a server and let it sit for a little bit before going back to the home screen for it to say this. And I've tried joining multiple different servers.

It might be a steam issue because my steam claims it was updating yesterday and today but I don't see any public steam update notes at all from today or yesterday, the last ones being all the way back in March, so I'm not entirely sure of what to do now

yeah sometimes it doesnt correctly show the server pop. the dino info disappearing doesnt mean it was deleted/lost.
you either need to wait for the population to be lower or spam to get in on the chance someone leaves while you do so.

Not on vanilla servers. There are unofficial servers that have fixed this recently. They even have chat commands that can track which objectives you've completed, how many zones you've visited, etc.

Game keeps running in the background / can't close the isle

There is currently a bug where the isle keeps running in the background despite having closed the game. Here are the 2 fixes:

• Open task manager, click the isle, click "end task"
• Restart or shutdown your PC. A prompt will appear saying there are still programs running, shutdown anyway? Click the "shutdown anyway" option.
  (If your game still does not close at all , run the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe in the EasyAntiCheat directory in the game files)

hello, so i have this problem with the game, it runs fine and dandy for 5 to 10 mins then the ping on any server be it official or not skyrockets and stays there meanwhile the fps drops to 1 or 0 and the game becomes unplayable, no crashes or anything but i have to close the game immediately. another thing is that it sometimes uses 0% of the gpu and sometimes only 20%, i added it to the graphics settings and set the option form windows to use the dedicated gpu and still same, i tried with and without using express vpn, same....

Also, why does the color that you change the UI to on the main screen not save that color? I changed them saved the file, then restarted my game, and nothing seemed to change. Whenever I open my game it also starts in a shrunk mode, this has been the case since I first got the game long before the allo and rex/UI update, and in that windowed mode the UI fits, and every time I have to literally just click settings then apply, without changing anything for it to actually go fullscreen. I have a feeling the two problems are interconnected since it works before applying the resolution setting but not after.

I already have it on Windowed Fullscreen. It opens in this small mode, then when I click settings and apply, it actually goes fullscreen, but in doing this it messes up my UI scaling and makes it too wide

It's gotta be a problem with the 2560x1600 resolution itself, or at least that aspect ratio. When I go into windowed mode at 1920x1080 I can see the edges of the UI just fine, but then switching it to windowed fullscreen still at 1920x1080 cuts it off. The game window itself is fitting my whole screen, and the UI is fitting to the height but not the width, fit to a 2560x1440 monitor.

Disabled IPv6
Tested multiple Steam regions
Confirmed issue persists on hotspot and its still not working for me, so you can try all of those options i have as well, i've read all 48 enteries in the steam discussion and reached out to steam support, but to no avail it hasnt worked. Check your logs for EOS_NoConnection. The game uses Epic Online Services for authentication even though it's on Steam. The real issue is Epic Games being blocked by your ISP.

FYI: not all VPN clients bypass Epic equally. In my case Hiddify didn't work, but v2rayTun did — even using the same VPN server. So if one client doesn't help, try switching the client itself.

Quick check: just try launching the Epic Games Launcher. If it opens and loads fine — you won't have this problem. If it doesn't — that's your issue.

That's why I say technically you have to use the Horder ones, because those are the ones that work on Horder. The official ones are from Evirima and they give you an error. I don't know why you see official Evirima ones on Horder, but I suppose that's why we get the game version error.

yeah hordetest is fun with new things, but is very unstable. make sure to clear your config when swapping back, the instructions for that are in the pinned messages (even has a video tutorial)

queues only show up as joinable on your end when the server pop shows 115/115. gotta refresh till it shows that (i also may be wrong about which ones have a queue enabled. i know EU1, 2, 3 and US 1, 3 have it.)

Server us 7 USA omirapts for the past 3 days have dominating the server. You really need a breeding cap on them as they are breeding too fast and over running servers extremely quickly. I was teaching a new player and jumped us 4 7 and 6 and it was crazy each had multiple group packing working together. They are using old work travel tunnel to dominate both water way rivers and north lake.
Used to be dienos at the water we worried about now it's raptors at every watering hold and killing with out eating ruing food for others. I would say anything if it wasn't 3 days in a row I have this issue so clearly it is organized if it happens this much in the same way.

The PBO / GPU one is questionable. But i found a temporary fix for myself.
I disabled EXPO (Ram overclock) and Fast Boot, and it somehow fixed it for now

now my ram is 1200hz slower but it is what it is.

If server shows less then 115/115 for example 114/115, ur game thinks u can join because 1 free slot, but 1 person from queue is already joining so because people in queue have priorty u get kicked out of joining. Try waiting for ur server to show 115/115 then join. that way u get in queue and after queue u can join normally. tested it multiple times and almost 100% sure this is whats going on

Had that a couple times, and not tabbing out of the isle and going on discord seems to work, if i click once every often back into the isle seems to help but not sure if this is the real fix or just coincidence

ive heard that there are some hard crash spots, some people said when they got to some place in game it just crashes, im on the same issue as u i think rn. so in my opinion, dont mess with ur hardware on a unstable game. it could very well/probably be the game thats not working correctly not ur hardware thats the issue

I managed to get out of the Water Access crash spot to run into another one more north, how are we remotely suppose to test anything when every 5 ft u run into a fatal error infinite crash loop and have to wait in a 50-100 person queue in hopes u can sprint fast enough to get out of it before u crash again..

Apparently, this is a coincidence, because no matter how you switch between windows, nothing changes. And most importantly, this only happens with the queue—you can access servers without a queue without any problems :c
