It's buggy. Try crouching or laying down then getting back up and moving to another spot of the water. Fixed for me anytime I can't eat or drink. Sometimes I think an animation gets stuck and this helps reset it.

Fixed it, if anyone has the same issue the files are stored in Appdata>Local>TheIsle>Saved>SaveGames and you can just move the "SaveGames" folder to ur new "TheIsle" folder

I found a mention on the internet that the connection might be blocked by the antivirus, and that it might be possible to add the game to the whitelist, but I haven't figured out how to do it.

the funny thing is that earlier I was running around on a small Rex in Delta and everything was fine, but after restarting to a normal branch and back to a test one, my connection fell off. I checked the integrity of files, deleted saves, turned on VPN and reloaded the brandom browser, fiddled with the router and other things, but to no avail

God, if you have the test version installed and it works, or the regular evrima branch, don't change it, ever....

I've tried completely deleting the game files from my computer, but it didn't work. It's possible that something is damaged in the Steam files, but I haven't tried reinstalling Steam yet.
