my friend had problems with EAC when running evrima

when trying to install, the window just closes. When trying to run evrima, it doesn't even show the "Launch Error" window, it just closes

He tried disabling the antivirus, firewall, InstallAntiCheat.bat, uninstalling the anti-cheat and installing, the method with creating setup.bat, but nothing helped

Hello, im having this issue with rendering when connecting to the game. sometimes i have to try like 15 times before i can actually play. from what i read, the issue is that my cpu is too strong and and i have to go into BIOS to reduce the cores being used? really dont want to make that change in bios to play the Isle..

I'm having a pretty annoying issue on The Isle: Evrima and wondering if anyone's dealt with this before. I click to join a server, it starts loading and just stays there forever. It never actually connects. I've already tried waiting, switching servers, restarting the game, and even verifying files on Steam, but nothing worked. Anyone got any idea what's going on or how to fix it? I'm dying to play but it's literally unplayable right now.

The command tries to shift you as soon as you send it, if it doesn't work check the pinned messages in the official server channels such as #evrima-na to see how to ask for an admin to unstuck you

Ok a few things, Verify the game in Steam, Delete the games Config folder to reset all settings, Update your GPU Driver (use the manufacturers website only) and Windows to the latest versions

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Because i had sound stuttering and fixed it for the most time by limiting my fps to an amount which would be constant. In game you can do 30,60,90 and so on but if you have nvidia gforce you can set the fps to a limit you like

if it still doesnt work, you can simply just uninstall your antivirus, you may need to use the uninstaller tools they provide!
such as "norton uninstaller" or "avg uninstaller" (for example). Antiviruses are sticky.

I've been getting fatal errors tonight but it's weird. I can technically still play/move around/eat etc but once I click "Ok" on the pop up it force closes the game anyways. Only thing I've changed was tonight I disabled steam overlays from the steam settings. I'm going to re-enable the overlay and see if that changes anything but... any thoughts?
Update: Doesn't seem related to steam overlay after all, the crashes continue but I'm not sure what could be causing them

There is a guide for how to completely wipe the game off your PC but you can also go to steam, click uninstall on the isle, then install it again

If reinstalling the game didn't work, there are 3 other possibilities:

1. Your antivirus is blocking the game, you will need to add an exception to your firewall
2. You need to run the game as administrator
3. Your windows version is out of date or corrupted. If out of date, update windows. If corrupted you need to reinstall windows.

Try making sure windows is updated first it's the easiest one

Yeah as Kouga mentioned, you are out of luck playing Evrima with that Integrated GPU (too weak), wont work with the game engine UE5 which requires a modern Dedicated (stand alone) GPU.. as Kouga mentioned you can still play the UE4 versions of the game like legacy

You can try to uninstall all the drivers from your PC and reinstall them all after that. maybe it's some corrupted driver that's causing the problem. it worked for me

Well, you can use the program called DDU to properly uninstall the GPU drivers and then reinstall them. I also recommend installing the chipset driver for better stability
