I had the same issue as a Norton user, but when I did what Adam posted (Adam's image too) it fixed it.
Go to Security -> Advanced Security, then disable these options. I did until computer restart cause I turn my pc off often, but you can make them turn back on sooner or never if you wish

The problem is that because of the sun and the wind, the shadows move a lot. If you set "Shadows" high, you will make the movements more fluid and therefore improve your visibility and stabilize the pings (i find it difficult to explain clearly)

Food is locking people in place. It happens with plants (mostly oranges) corpses and Ai like fish, Deers and especially craps. Even if you have a mate who can eat the food and it fully disappears you still will be stuck. /unstuck is the last resort in these situations but “due to movement” it isn’t working.

I beg you pls do something about this. I lost Dinos because of it and it happened to me 3 Times in 1 hour. Every time I have to log unsafe and try to get back without dieing or being killed wich is nearly impossible because of the queues. Pls do something or change the unstuck.

For anyone having problems with "Fatal error", for me it helped to uninstall the game, delete the whole Isle map and re-install the game. There is a way to save your skins. To save your skins you go to TheIsle -> Saved -> SaveGames and find the LocalSkins.sav file, copy it and paste it to your desktop. When the game is re-installed you launch the game, create a skin, save it, close the game and go to TheIsle -> Saved -> SaveGames and remove the new LocalSkins.sav file and put the old LocalSkins.sav file back. TADAAAA, your saved skins have now returned.

Hey im trying to troubleshoot this for my kid. He's trying to play evrima, and it either freezes in the loading screens or freezes on a black screen. Ive updated my Nvidia drivers and windows, and I manually un-installed the isle from the computer and am reinstalling it currently. This is caused by your third app antivirus (Norton, avast, avg, etc)

you can:

• uninstall your antivirus completely
  or
• disable it before launching the game (might not work)
  or
• create an exception in your antivirus for the entire isle folder

sometimes it requires you to reboot the pc or download the game again, as the files can be already blocked.

Hey guys, I’m dealing with a consistent fatal error on my desktop PC. It happens every time I log on, anywhere between 5 to 90 minutes into using the system. It does NOT happen on my laptop, only on my desktop.

I know this is an ongoing issue for many and I’ve read and tried a lot of the usual fixes before asking for help.

What’s Happening?
Crashes randomly between 5-90 mins after logging in
No overheating issues (temps seem fine)
Even during crashes, stress tests (FurMark & Prime95) show the system is fine
No crashes on my laptop, only my desktop
What I’ve Tried:

✅ Ran SFC /scannow & DISM – No major issues found
✅ Updated Drivers (GPU, Chipset, BIOS, etc.)

is there a fix for evrima replays not working? i have several replays from the past few days, but when i go to see them in the replay section that is accessed through the title screen, it shows that they are available after 30minutes (even the ones from the previous day or from several hours ago). i have waited in the replay screen as well as the title screen to see if the minutes go down, but it doesn't seem they do. i've also tried verifying the integrity of the game files through steam as well as trying to reinstall the game, but no success.

You can try also adding an exclusion for the Isle folders in Apptata/Local, though my advice is to just remove the antivirus entirely

In my opinion, no antivirus is worth the headache and bloat that they give. Windows Defender works fine

So I’m having a hard time loading the isle for evrima. I haven’t really played the game much but recently I’ve been trying to load it up and it’s not working. I have a Victus Gaming Laptop that has additional RAM that meets the max requirements and normally I can play it with no issue but for some reason it’s not loading my laptop. I optimized it and I sped it up and it’s still not getting past the loading screen I get stuck on it.
