You are having a different issue to what I've seen before, I'm not sure what to do about it. You seem to be timing out when joining the queue, but I don't understand why it only affects Unofficial.

It might be a port conflict, but you said you've reinstalled Windows at least once since the issue started happening, so that seems unlikely

This might be one to talk to @cloud crow about, I think

I'll try and figure out how the queue joining works and get back to you if I figure anything out

Hello and Good Day! officially submitting my current issue I am having :) I am currently experiancing ( after being timed out of a server yesterday) a bug or the issue that i cannot get connected to the official or even unofficial servers in The Isle - Evrima. With or without Queue i just can't get connected. Nothing that I did - restarting pc, updating graphic driver, uninstalling and reinstalling Easy Anti Cheat - worked. The only 2 Programs I am aware of that caused issues with Vanguard ( a different anti cheat program) before are Msi and Rivatuner - other than those 2 i have no idea what would cause problems. So I am curious as how can i fix it and why can i not connect ? Is it a known issue serversided? or is it on my side? I 100% got no cheats ( not in this and any other lifetime!) on my pc so Easy Anti cheat shouldnt ban me ( if that is the case) unless it also collides with msi and riva tuner as Vanguard does. A friend of mine cant connect with my account on his pc either, but I also cant connect with his account on my pc ( when his account works perfectly on his pc) Thanks alot in Advance. I hope this will be fixed soon. I'd love some clearance and to embark on my next adventures in The Isle. :)

That's usually either because of network issues or an old client that needs to be updated. Make sure you internet is good, and check to ensure your game is up to date. restarting your router may also help

by some reason evrima not using gpu, this problem started today cuz yesterday it was using gpu

• in settings the isle marked to use gpu
• in nvidia setting the isle is marked to use gpu
• i tried updating drivers for gpu
• i rebooted pc

Fixed, this issue was caused by my Antivirus.

sometimes the game don't push your GPU so much, as the isle is more CPU intensive

but it can also be related to how your entire pc communicate with each component, maybe the GPU is not getting enough work from the CPU, etc

or it's related to the settings ingame, maybe the fps is capped

After playing for about 30 minutes my frames suddenly drop from around 150 to 60 and whenever i turn my frames drop to almost zero making the game unplayable. I have tried all different types of setting. Making sure my graphics drivers and computer are up to date. I have verified game files as well as redownloading the game. I would like to know what causing this and if there is anything i can do to stop it. PC Specs (CPU Ryzen 7770x, GPU Nvidia 4070 ti super, 32 gb ddr5 ram.) All setting are set to either medium or low. Frame gen did not make a difference. I also had someone tell me to clear my cache and it helped a little but now the lag is back after playing one time.

A few things to try

To Play on the official servers do this -

Right click The Isle in Steam > Properties > Beta's > Select Evrima public

Verify the game in steam

Delete your Config folder to reset all settings (Do this every time after every major Update or change of version)

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Note: Hitting 'Apply' in settings when you have your Dino loaded in, may help as some settings get stuck due to a bug, may help with performance

Very important - If you haven't in awhile Update your GPU Driver and Windows

Check your Anti Virus (AV) and Firewall aren't causing an issue, turn the AV OFF, verify the game and play, if it works its the AV, then setup exclusions in the AV for the game

Check the Firewall allows the game portals access

If you are running a 13th or 14th Gen Intel CPU, particularly a i9 CPU, there is a conflict with UE5 (the game engine used) - solution can be quite complicated

There are other things that can cause Oodle decompression errors in rare cases, if you want you can do stability tests to double-check

If your whole computer freezes but you can still hear music and stuff playing, that's usually your GPU crashing

Check the Windows Event Viewer for GPU driver events. Assuming it's not a hardware problem following steps 6 and 7 here should help #🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message

Freezing during load (typically on the AE or Unreal screen) is almost always caused by interference from your Anti-Virus. Either uninstall Norton/Avast/AVG/McAfee/Kaspersky and let Windows Defender take over or add the entire The Isle folder in Steam as an exception. You will likely need to restart and Verify Integrity of Files through steam afterwards. Just disabling the AV is usually not sufficient.
If you use Norton and aren't prepared to uninstall, some people have reported that adding the folder as an exception is also not enough, one user wrote up a guide which may be helpful #🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message

Hello, I don't know if you remember my case. The one in which I was not able to connect to the servers, not even from another computer. So the problem was the account itself. This happened to me and several friends, exactly the same problem. The only solution we have found has been to create a new Steam account and purchase the game again. I wrote to Punchpaket on several occasions stating the problem (as they told me), but never received a response.

The support service for this problem has been zero on the part of the developers and Steam. The only assistance email provided does not exist today.

If you have the same problem in which when you enter a server it remains in an eternal "connecting" state; I'm afraid to tell you that the only solution is to create a new Steam account and buy the game again if you want to play The Isle.

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Hello! I posted last night and was not able to find any solutions to my issue, I played about 5 min of Evrima and my window size shrunk to the point I cannot play (first pic). When it does go full screen, it is completely zoomed in (second pic). I can hear the clicking of the options but cant get past much else. Ah. So the issue you are having is the graphics that your motherboard can do (called Integrated Graphics) cannot run Evrima, you need your Video Card to play that. We will need to get that working again to be able to play

Hello, I recently got myself a new gaming pc so I been out of this game since 2023 but now that I am I able to game again I decided to give this game another swing since I love it so much.

Once I joined a envirma official server I was able to walk around and then I immediately lost connection to server.

Now my steam goes offline whenever it searches for a server on Envirma.

Went to legacy to see if it experiences same issue. Well I was able to reach the create the dinosaur screen then I immediately lost connection to server.

I don’t know what’s going on. I updated my drivers, verified file integrity and even deleted the cache but still get same issue.

The one that comes with Windows (Windows Defender) is pretty good, I'd just use that. Once you uninstall the third party one it will activate and take over

I have been having terrible rubber banding issues, my ping never goes over 60 and yet it still happens, and its completely random when it does I could have one play session that's completely fine and one that is riddled with rubber banding. I've done just about everything - verifying game files, update drivers, clear my config, restart my router and such I even bought signal boosters to maybe help with the issue but nothing has worked. Any suggestions? Time between rubber banding is anywhere from 6-8 seconds and the extreme ones are 120 seconds and I time out at the end.
