Relog, face away from the way out, and try it again. If nothing happens, relog, don't move at all, and use /unstuck

That is absolutely not intentional. Breaking a nest after all the babies hatch is normal practice

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

It would be really nice if the latest AI problems were fixed immediately.
These are simply extremely harmful to unofficial servers

I don't understand it. First of all, after a long wait and perseverance, you give us a more or less bad amount of AI (Unofficial Server)
We were so happy that servers could finally exist with fewer players.

And now 2 patches later, everything that was finally good is completely destroyed again by invisible AI and AI failspawns under the map

Maybe it would simply be helpful, for example, to generally allow the admins or server hosts to regulate the AI ​​quantities themselves and not just have the spawn repetition rate adjusted

That... Doesn't make sense. A memory leak is an application continually increasing its committed memory pool, cached memory is something Windows does with memory which is not being used by any application.

Cached memory is used to store frequently accessed files in the RAM to speed up access to them. Windows should use almost all non-committed memory as cache once it's been running for a while.

If you really really hate the idea of cached memory there might be a way to force windows not to do it, but it will only hurt your performance.

Anecdotally, people on lower graphics settings seem less affected by this. I wouldn't be surprised if setting view distance to Close helped.

Again, literally just trying to find a cause for the problem. Memory leaks can cause higher than normal cached ram, which is why I tested to make sure that wasn't the case (by clearing it) which again, didn't solve the issue. I have no issue with cached ram, however I'm just trying different solutions and options for the potential problem.

i7-12700KF with a 4070 Super Ti, can pull more if needed.. I've tried the suggested with the possibility of it being a mouse issue, changed the dpi, poll rate.. no change. All drivers are up to date, cleanly reinstalled every one to verify no corrupted drives... nothing lol. It happens with The Isle and Sea of Thieves, not noticed it in any other games.

Fatal error is almost 100% an issue with your PC, sorry. Most likely you have a bad RAM stick

That means that EAC couldn't talk to the anti-cheat servers to verify your game file signatures. If you have a firewall, add EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe to the exceptions. You can also try restarting your router.

64gb of ram, W10, and no, it's any sort of movement.

It tanks the fps to 10-15 frames, as soon as the movements done its over until moved again, If the game is restarted, it fixes.

(Until 3-4hrs later, it starts back up.)

Hmmm. Does running around (no mouse movement, just WASD) cause drops as well? It's weird that it only occurs after an hour; If it was a USB hub issue (or your mouse somehow interfering) you would think it would happen straight away.
Some things I would check:
Make sure GPU is mounted PCIe 2.0 16x or better (sometimes they will mount at lower speeds if the slot is dirty/damaged)
Make sure RAM is set to an appropriate profile and is channel/rank interleaved
Make sure GPU and CPU power modes and clocks aren't dropping when the issues are occuring - use an overlay like Afterburner to keep an eye on them
Have a look at TI CPU usage when the problem is occurring compared with normal gameplay - is it being capped lower somehow? (if you get sound glitches along with the frame drops this would support it being CPU side)

I'd also do a full virus/malware scan, malware bytes, the whole lot. It's possible you have malware which is doing screencaps and logging after a period of time, and that's causing your issues

If none of those things turn up fruit, I'd just bite the bullet and do a full windows reinstall/reset

Gpu is in the correct slot, ram is as well. GPU/CPU power modes are also fine, never had an issue with them. (I do use afterburner and a few other programs) CPU/GPU usage does not cap when this is happening, so it's not a 'lag' issue. I don't get any sound glitches from what I do recall. Also, for awareness, a GPU absolutely does fit into a 1x slot, and people with mining rigs often do that. That's what the cutout in the PCIe slot is for.

There are some tricks to it, you normally end up going backwards so face away from the nearest flat land

Relogging resets the countdown so you can do that to avoid dehydration/starvation

Step 1: In Steam, right click on The Isle, Properties, Installed Files, Browse...

Step 2: From that folder (should see the TheIsle executable to know you're in the right spot) go into the folders to: > TheIsle > Binaries > Win64

Step 3: In the folder you're now in (Win64) you should see a file called TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping. If you do, then you're in the right place. In this folder, create a text file named steam_appid.

Step 4: Open up your new steam_appid text file that you just created in Notepad and add 376210 to the file. Just the numbers, nothing else. that is The Isle's Steam App ID

I'd recommend getting rid of Norton completely and going back to just using Windows Defender, but I can understand if you don't want to do that

I'm annoyed. That's at least the fourth full grown I've lost from the lack of food. Either elite fishes as a Dino or The multitude of boars/goats. You can hear, but never see. I'm 2 weeks into this game and honestly, I don't know if its worth sinking more hours into it. You try to feed via A.I. and its bugged, You think alright I'll P.v.P and ... it's bugged, or you fight Mix pack. You think : Ok it might be skill issues.>> So you watch a bunch of videos on youtube to try and guide you. I don't complain when I YIPIKAYE myself off a cliff 22 times in the same hour, Or when killed 3 times in a row to a cheater. But if I apply myself and do what seems to be the right thing, you still get punished for not being a south plaines Cerato it seems. It appears to be a massive lack on the eastern side of the map. From swamp to north lake, unless you're a Croc. Is it interest? the risk or appeal? I don't know. This is the route I've used today, and believe it or not but I came across a Herrera, when I had 12% of food left, and two Pachy when I was red health. I stopped and stalked, I rotated, I moved along and followed your Migration route. What's the point of a migration route if there is nothing in it for a Carnivore? I heard 2 deer and 2 goats in Delta. 1 boar south of water access, that's it. I understand that it's a hardcore survival game and it's a work in progress, that being said it's incredibly frustrating to sink in hours and die to lack of food because the map will spawn A.I to what seems to be most populated areas?. Apologies for the novel, Had to vent I guess. I play as a raptor mostly, and not having A.I or group to pvp, you are doomed in those conditions. Feel free to let me know if I'm missing something. Worth remembering Evrima isn't a PvE game, you aren't supposed to survive on AI. If you are a carnivore, you need to hunt other players

AI is meant to help you grow and help keep you going between PvP hunts

Herbivores and Omnivores exist for people who don't want to hunt other players

Smaller carnivores usually need to either hunt babies (takes a lot of map knowledge and dash of luck) or work in packs. Not all carnivores are possible solo

In reality, if you want to be consistenly successful as a carnivore you really have to find a group of friends to play with. It sucks for people who don't want to deal with Discord and all that but it's just how the game goes

Some, like Raptors, you can just run around and find other raptors to group with. Some, like Troodon, you just act cute and big carnivores often adopt you. For Cera and especially carno, you just need to either be very good or play with others

I've seen and been in packs of 10 raptors that gets decimated by 2 steggos and one diblo. Again, ill put in play that my lack of experience does weight in there. But in that route, I called with 2 other raptors that seemed to be juvenile, nerver to meet up. Same goes as Juvenile where you make the crucial choice to either travel to the sound or find food on your own.

Raptors can't hunt stego, very few things can. They used to be able to, not any more. A big part of being a good carnivore is know what you can and can't kill

There are 90-something other players in the server, while you can't kill that stego or those dibbles there are others you can hunt. It's not easy, and there's no guarenteed way, but it's not meant to be easy either

You arent meant to survive for days at a time, dying and growing a new dino is just part of it

Having said that yes, AI is pretty buggy at the moment andy yes, that makes it harder, but it's not meant to be easy. I play a lot of raptor, dilo, and cera, and I normally die at least once a day, but that's just part of it

It's not about the bragging rights to have a dino live a full year, It's about having a fair chance. I did read it all, but maybe not as carefully as I could of; The issue is playing the isle isn't just "Do X Y Z", there's a lot of map knowledge required - where you hunt, looking for meat smells, listening for calls and making guesses about where players are

It all makes sense, and yes I agree, that learning who's call is what and where they can be heading is something that I need to learn. But you also need to gather your troops if you are to be sucessfull in that endevour. Problem is, while you gather, If you dont have, like you said something to at least sustain you, while you prepare, then you are doom to die or just yeet it.
