i ve tried to run steam as a admin, uninstall the game twice, clear the cache, reparing all the file of the game and also reparing the steam library

So downloaded this game after a while of not having it in my computer. I will take a wild guess and say that something is wrong with most likely on my end. The whole messed up texture on the character screen (very blury shadows and for that human the line just goes through the character screen). Some (although not as bad) textures are also broken on the character itself and at the starting point with picking the dinosaur, I was not even given a choice on where to spawn (unless that is no longer an option? also not as bothersome but that silhoutte that shows up when picking a character yeah that is a blurry mess of nothing as well).
I did not mess with the graphics settings just in case that will break it more though I doubt it.

Asking here in case anyone has any tips on how to fix this (I verified the files, nothing wrong shown. I also unninstalled and reinstalled the game, issues remain).

what fixed it for me was 1. If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, in the isle settings turn DLSS to the max (Which I believe is performance something) 2. Turn on motion blur at least to the lowest setting depending on if your PC can handle it, and that should help. If you have any questions or need help feel free to DM or reply here.

A few questions: Does weight define health? And what about blood pool? Is it a 1-1 ratio? And what is "locked health"?

Weight is hp, bloodpool is hidden, locked hp takes longer to regen and doesn't begin regenning until your normal hp is restored. A portion of all damage you take is converted to locked hp

if you think the driver successfully installed and you have rebooted the pc ... you can check what driver version (566.36 / 32.0.15.6636 is the latest nvidia graphics driver) you are running now ... look back up at the previous posts from earlier to check

I just bought The Isle and installed it for the first time, but I keep getting a "Fatal Error!" message every time I try to launch the Evrima version of the game. Here's what I've tried so far:

Verified the game files through Steam.
Made sure my Windows 10 installation is fully updated.
Updated my NVIDIA drivers (I’m running an RTX 2060, which should be fine for the game 🤔).
Tried running the game as an administrator... and alle of the standart fix's and including the fix's from the #pinned-troubleshooting, like to thanks for the nice documentation, tho it didn't work for me.
Reinstalled Visual Studio just in case.
Even did a fresh reinstall of the game.

For fun, I switched to the Legacy version, and it runs perfectly fine even on Epic and High graphics settings. But I really want to play the Evrima version, and that's where the problem is.

Here’s the issue in more detail:
The game gets past the anti-cheat loading screen without any problems.
About 5 seconds or less, into the main loading screen, I get the "Fatal Error!" message.
If I press "OK" on the error message, the game immediately closes or after the background video plays through.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix I can try? Any help would be appreciated!

AI is very skittish in this version, that is it scares easily and will often run before you see it. AI also tends to get stuck in places and stop calling out, so because there is a limit to the number of AI this means less and less slots are available for AI to spawn in (because they are hidden everywhere)

Things are certainly harder now but they are by no means impossible, I rarely starve as a baby carnivore (though often die trying to stealing food), my advice is to not hinge your survival strategy on finding AI but instead plan to scavenge and hunt players, with AI being a bonus if you find it

Depending on your species you can often get adopted as a baby, troodons and raptors are cute enough that many full grown cera/carnos will let you take some food from a kill, especially if you help secure it in the first place

TotalAV has a very bad reputation and from the tests I've seen performs worse than the default Windows Defender, I would strongly advise removing it completely and seeing if that resolves your issue

Type %localappdata% and hit Enter
Navigate to the isle > saved > config

I ran a bunch of those in parallel, each testing 3000mb, and I would get errors with one stick and not the other
