Trying to help w/ the server rollback issue -- the google form isn't great for this.

I safe logged with plenty of time after the five minute warning, but similar to prior to tonight's fix several hours ago, I was disconnected before getting to the 1 minute warning.
Differently this time though, the dinos I played on both HT NA 3 and HT NA 4 do show up in the preview with correct growth/hunger/thirst. Unfortunately it still sends me to the dino creation menu after connecting.

Rollbacks have been happening since last Tuesday or Wednesday (12/3 or 12/4). What ever was the state of your player data at that time on a given server is what you come back to after a server restarts. Currently unofficial servers seem unaffected. Devs are actively working on this

I don't know where to complain, so I'll do it here.
I haven't been playing for a very long time, but I came across such a bug: I played on dilophosaurus and died. The usual thing, right? I started playing for a new dinosaur, everything was ok, after a while I logged off the server...and after the server was restarted and I logged on to it...I spawned as my old dilophosaurus, completely full hp and etc, just like the last time I played it. My dinosaur, which I played after dilo, simply disappeared and was replaced by this dilo. Anyone knows how to fix this?

the other day someone was trying the horde test before it was actually even mentioned and so i confirmed that there was no live horde test yet and while doing that i noticed the different horde testing naming ... but after switching to legacy (choose None under Betas) and running it once and closing the game and back into Betas in steam and it then showed the correct name as above

you can type /unstuck in the in game chat might work or you can tag the @ official server admin role in a post in the official server channel for the official server you are stuck in and mention your in game name and hopefully someone is available to help

nb. if the /unstuck doesn't work it could be because other players are close by ... you can also try logging out while your dino is still alive and logging back in later and the /unstuck command might work the next time

nb. there is a 'cool down' period after using unstuck command ... 10 mins

I'm getting around 30fps on all medium settings on a 1060 on an hdd on all medium settings. I'd try completely wiping the TheIsle folder in appdata, verify the game files, double check your drivers (I've heard AMD drivers can be touch and go so maybe even downgrade them by a month or so)

Also, make sure you've got Lumen turned off in game, that'll kill your frames

Hello, how are you? This is my third message regarding an issue I’ve been experiencing, and I still haven’t been able to resolve it. For some time now, whenever I try to enter the game, the screen gets stuck on “Connecting.” The servers show up correctly, and I can even queue if necessary, but when attempting to access, it doesn’t go past that screen.

I've not had this issue myself but it looks like you're not the only one. I'd recommend a clean install if you haven't already, probably a good idea to clear out your TheIsle config folder. could try just the whole TheIsle folder in your Appdata/Local and let the game rebuild it at launch. hopefully that helps. Note that this removes some player side data like your skins and server saved dino preview

Many are experiencing this, but I found a solution though. You need to download all the game files manually and grant explicit access via the command prompt, as well as whitelisting The Isle on your antivirus if it's blocking it. Clear the config folder, make sure your drivers are updated, disable Lumen, keep 3d resolution at around 40-50, and play around with the settings. On some, the medium and high options may be more optimized than low

considering this game is small and its not worldwide recognizabled, the a770 should no have good drivers for this situation, and the isle may not have full support to it

This isnt directly The Isle issue but im still here to fix it: I noticed that in many games i only get around 60 fps. It isnt like I put the frame limit to 60 fps, it constaltly moves from about 58-62 fps and cant get more but only lower. This isnt a performance issue and many days ago I got it 80+ fps in any game. Any ideas how to fix this?

check if your GPU or windows is not in energy saving mode

and if possible download an app to keep track of how your components are doing, such as CPU, GPU, ram, etc

maybe they're overheating, that's why the performance is capped

Ok so ive been having this lagging issue for 6 months now and i have asked reddit,discord and just tried to find a general solution since it prevents me from really playing the game, This vid of the omni is me playing and this is happening the entire time. The only time it has not happned is some updates, for instance when the first branch of the new stress test was released i was not lagging around but when it got updated it started again. ARE THERE ANY SOLUTIONS!! at this point i dont know if its an issue with me or the game. ive tried closing everything when playing the isle and that worked one day and then the next the latency started up again and like i said before the updates that fix and unfix it. I have not found anyone with this issue and so cannot find a straight forward solution, this lagging only happens on the isle and my wifi is more than enough to prevent lagging in games (70-100mbps dowload and 70mbps upload). Ive tried all the basic and common stuff which has not worked in the long term so i am really asking if anyone has a solution or fix to this issue if it is the games or an issue on my end. The video attached is just an example and i can be worse at times but never subsides for long periods when playing.

The bug seems to occur where the ground under it starts to slide (be non walkable)

That usually is fixed by a relog, happens sometimes when settings are changed in-game

If files are being corrupted or missing, check your Anti Virus (AV) by turning it OFF, Verifying the game again to relace any missing files, then running the game to see what happens, if it is the AV you need to set up an exception for the game

Basically when starting the game it gets to the unreal engine loading screen and crashes. I'm getting this error:

My graphics card is- Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT PULSE 16GB GDDR6
and I'm on windows 11

Please help me I am just trying to play the game and nothing seems to help

I am having this issue as shown below when I try to launch the game in hordetesting, I am running DirectX 12 with a GTX 750 Ti, my drivers are updated and my windows is updated

make sure windows it's updated, GPU drivers updated (via app), clean the GPU drivers if you think none works

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Note: Hitting 'Apply' in settings when you have your Dino loaded in, may help as some settings may get stuck, could help with performance

• Also if you haven't in awhile Update your GPU Driver (use the manufactures website) and Windows OS to the latest versions each
