check your antivirus software is not blocking/quarantining the isle game .exe file or the isle game folder in its virus vault/quarantine

try adding the Isle game / TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe to your antivirus/firewall exceptions - see this post :> #🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message ...

(nb. after adding exception to your antivirus for the isle you may need to delete the 'The Isle' game folder from where it is installed (right click on the isle in steam - properties - installed files - browse to find the location where the game is installed which will open as a File Explorer window in the background in the taskbar) and then maybe restart your pc/laptop then back into windows and run steam again and see if it successfully downloads the game again and runs ok)

Since the big new patch, I've been dealing with this. I log out safely every time, yet when I come back it always says unknown. Most of the time I'm there and it's fine, but I think I just lost my 72% deino that I've been growing and gotten attached to because of this. have you tried altering in game graphics settings? textures, materials, effects settings ...

if still having trouble - u could also try deleting TheIsle folder or config folder in appdata\local (the game will recreate it with default settings next time it runs)

(default location: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\TheIsle) - you can rename the folder if you want to keep it for reference

'dlss glitch' or 'dlss bug'

it is dlss related ... can turn dlss off in the game settings menu or upgrade to the latest graphics driver might fix

*** nb. i noticed there is a file called nvngx_update.exe, which is part of the nvidia driver installation, which i think does dlss updates from the nvidia servers as part of their neural graphics technology - ie. simulates the extra frames etc ... also the isle evrima has its own nvngx_dlss.dll file ***

• i had dlss glitches but i think after updating nvidia driver and setting in game settings - NVIDIA DLSS to ULTRAPERFORMANCE it was all good - like it is fine with this latest evrima update

• also can try in game graphic settings - V-SYNC set to ON and FRAME RATE LIMIT to 60 FPS (or 30 FPS) - it may lessen the likelihood of glitches or stop the glitch like for instance after you have changed settings and the game restarts itself and you get the dlss graphics glitch - still might not completely go until you exit the game and load normally rather than from an in game restart

(nb. setting v-sync on and frame limit to 60 fps (or 30 fps for those with lower hardware specs) can also take the load off the gpu if it is up around close to 100% utilization (pushes temps up and increases power draw which for some may be an issue) when unlimited and drop it back down to 60 - 70% gpu utilization)

I did and reverified, just to be sure what files would need to be deleted or cleared so I can try again. I may have missed a step when I did it

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
8. Start the game.

Hello guys. I'm having problem with The Isle (Evrima). I recently reinstalled the game after a long time because my friend is playing Evrima.

My issue is: When i launch the game, it gets stuck on the easy anticheat process - "Installing" and then "Waiting for Game...", then it just crashes without any message.

What i've tried:

• Installed the normal The Isle, deleted it, and then downloaded Evrima again
• Veryfied game's files with steam
• Uninstalled the Easy Anticheat and then veryfied the game files integrity with steam
• Downloaded the .sys file on Easy AntiCheat folder

Hey I figured out the problem with thrashing. After deleting my whole config data folder with everything, I tried again and it still wasent working. I then discovered how the thrashing animation has something to do with the DPI and distance your mouse travels.

I basically have to swipe way further across my mouse pad back and forth depending on my DPI on my mouse.

IMO it shouldn't be that harsh to get it to thrash but if someone else has this issue that was the solution to the problem i was having. I play at 400 dpi had to go to 1600 DPI before it started working. Thanks for showing me that admin server really made this troubleshooting way easier.

Hey it happens to me also. The only workaround i found you have to disable DLSS and restart the game. Enabling the DLSS after the restart seems to work every time.

Ive had similar problems with other games, and i fixed it by going into the game files and re-adding whatever file it says im missing. Ive also had to go into admin comand prompt and delete a certain file that i cant remember to make it work. But i don’t recommend doing the command prompt one unless you know what your doing cus you could delete something important

If I look at the sky I get 40 FPS (at most), look straight ahead or down and I get between 1 - 7 FPS. My settings are on low, and I've tried deleting config, any other way to improve the FPS? My pc doesn't lag on other games but in this one I'm often on 1 FPS

do you have minimum requirements for the game? it should say on the steam page the hardware reqs.. if not may need to upgrade where you can, if you do, some settings have to be "reset to be applied" in the settings so if you havent done that try that. also turning down the 3d model resolution helped me a lot

it says on the store page on steam, but go over the recommended if you have the money, i get 60fps (stable, can get between 90-100fps but i prefer stable) with the recommended hardware

i had a 1050 before i upgraded so that should get at least 30fps, maybe open task manager and monitor what might be tanking your frames? another thing is that i have to hit apply to my settings when i launch the game as some dont stay how i left them

also check ur drivers and see if you can change anything through geforce experience that might help

im also not an expert, you can see most of those specs through your settings and compare them with the picture i sent or the isle store page. i think you might not be able to see your GPU (graphics card) through settings but you can see what you have through task manager, then performance, then GPU

i was on horde test na1 and only 2 or 3 of us on at the time ... they have not put out an announcement yet that i am aware of asking players to switch to the horde test 0.16.192 yet or even what the horde test involves ... the ht 0.16.192 was running fine for me though and i had no issues ... was also trying to see if i could replicate the grab food glitch where you can't do much and have to relog

update: been back on horde test 0.16.192 and so far have not had a grab food glitch despite grabbing lots of meat chunks from ai bodies to test ...

'dlss glitch' or 'dlss bug'

it is dlss related ... can turn dlss off in the game settings menu or upgrade to the latest graphics driver might fix

*** nb. i noticed there is a file called nvngx_update.exe, which is part of the nvidia driver installation, which i think does dlss updates from the nvidia servers as part of their neural graphics technology - ie. simulates the extra frames etc ... also the isle evrima has its own nvngx_dlss.dll file ***

• i had dlss glitches but i think after updating nvidia driver and setting in game settings - NVIDIA DLSS to ULTRAPERFORMANCE it was all good - like it is fine with this latest evrima update

• also can try in game graphic settings - V-SYNC set to ON and FRAME RATE LIMIT to 60 FPS (or 30 FPS) - it may lessen the likelihood of glitches or stop the glitch like for instance after you have changed settings and the game restarts itself and you get the dlss graphics glitch - still might not completely go until you exit the game and load normally rather than from an in game restart

(nb. setting v-sync on and frame limit to 60 fps (or 30 fps for those with lower hardware specs) can also take the load off the gpu if it is up around close to 100% utilization (pushes temps up and increases power draw which for some may be an issue) when unlimited and drop it back down to 60 - 70% gpu utilization)

Hello guys. I'm having problem with The Isle (Evrima). I recently reinstalled the game after a long time because my friend is playing Evrima.

My issue is: When i launch the game, it gets stuck on the easy anticheat process - "Installing" and then "Waiting for Game...", then it just crashes without any message.

What i've tried:

• Reinstalled the game
• Installed the normal The Isle, deleted it, and then downloaded Evrima again
• Veryfied game's files with steam
• Uninstalled the Easy Anticheat and then veryfied the game files integrity with steam
• Downloaded the .sys file on Easy AntiCheat folder
• Runned "InstallAntiCheat.bat", "UninstallAntiCheat.bat" and "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe"

eg. TheIsle.log, TheIsle-backup-date.log

• u could also look in windows event viewer (run eventvwr.msc from search/run box) at the windows logs - application and system ... see what events/errors have been happening
