hiya just joined quick to ask about a weird issue ive been having. recently i downloaded the isle evrima back and straight away i noticed it was 4gb? i always remember it being over 20gb but i downloaded it anyway.
when i started playing i noticed the game had unrendered parts that looked like grey squares if ykwim, it looks unrendered and unifnished all in all and ive never had this issue before.

I don't have screengrabs to showcase, but I encountered a screen glitch that persists upon spawning. As best as I can describe, it looks as though the screen is divided into four boxes with the top left box looking like the "main" screen and the others looking like duplicates that have a fuzzy scan effect (like an old CRTV static). it can definetely run max graphics, as this build is a high-end pc. I would be extra careful though about the processor, you NEED to update the BIOS of your motherboard or your processor will oxidize and die.

Hey there! Ive got a friend who cant find any server as its endless searching. No matter how long they wait or the settings seleted on the right side of the screen.
They have deleted config files, Uninstalled, reinstalled the game but nothing fixes. They have over 1.3k hours game play and on evrima branch.

After playing a bit on hordetesting I noticed my FPS drop to like 25 (I usually have 60). So I changed some settings down, it made me restart the game, which I did, then when I loaded back in by PC restarted. Do I need to worry about my hardware?

My PC is over 10 years old, full of dust and broken fans. CPU and memory will max out on horde test and will need to restart the game. But it's only with hordetest, I run low settings on public branch and things are fine. Your situation might of been a freak thing. I haven't had the game restart my computer since it came out.

(nb. after adding exception to your antivirus for the isle you may need to delete the 'The Isle' game folder from where it is installed (right click on the isle in steam - properties - installed files - browse to find the location where the game is installed which will open as a File Explorer window in the background in the taskbar) and then maybe restart your pc/laptop then back into windows and run steam again and see if it successfully downloads the game again and runs ok)
