That's a reliable way to improve performance after an update dropped.

Typically this issue appears when steam is having their maintenance on tuesday; if it happens outside of that, just rejoining should work at some point.

Depends on your system really. Of course there's ways to improve performance by fiddling with specific settings, but if you hardware is not capable enough of achieving good performance it ultimately won't help. But to give you an example, for my system lowering the settings would give me worse performance.

Unfortunatley I don't know when or which version you last played. UE4 (older evrima versions and legacy) can give you much greater performance with older systems.
But if you've achieved this performance recently on the evrima branch I can only tell you that the devs are always implementing changes to the game and engine, which can also lead to differences in performance. What GPU do you have btw?

See if any games or Steam is being prevented from accessing files that they need to access. Allow the games/steam access. This little snafu recently caused an issue with Borderlands 3 not being able to save game data (settings or progress), and I've had similar issues with other games.

Settings>Privacy & Security>Security>Virus & Treat Protection>Protection History. Start clicking on entries and see what they say. Look for TheIsle.exe and Steam.exe in the list. If either of those are in there, click on "Give access". I've not had to do this before with steam itself, but with many games individually.

From my experience, You either have to have someone of the same species guide you to the correct nutrient or just sniff in the area of migration and it will show up as the leaf symbol. You can still get diet but it will be random unless you're familiar with what it looks like physically. its a current bug it seems.

Double check the beta branhc, and if you're on evrima try verifying the game files

Sometimes steam isn't good at finding updates and verifying will force it to recognize the outdated files

i updated once then i tried using the full bloatware amd DL, then i tried deinstalling the drivers manually via device manager and reinstalling them using the drivers from the manufacturer support from my pc

it always just stated the drivers are up to date :/

3. Delete the file appinfo.vdf

What do I do if no servers are showing up except some unofficial ones? (I picked a random one and was able to join just fine) It says that the Official network status is online but no official servers come up. Have checked a few times throughout the day and there is still nothing. I tried verifying the game files and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I will also say that before this the game told me I needed to download a new graphics driver, did that and now that is working fine. No idea if that has anything to do with this?

Have uninstalled / reinstalled the game, verified the game files, multiple times now and I keep getting this issue mixed with the Disk write error tried to see if the folder the game and steam itself were on read only but they were not so I don't know why this is happening (And no other download is having a Disk write error. also tried installing on another disk but it's the same issue) :EDIT it wont even install now just stuck on disk write error again tested other downloads and they download just fine it's just this game.
