When I first installed game, it was decent having crashes here andthere. Now I changed 3D nvidia settings and other players were teleporting for me, I again set 3D nvidia settings to default to fix this, however now players teleport for me and game is unplayable. Even if I have 70 fps or 80 or 50, same issue occurs. What can be the issue can someone explain it to me?

Depends, you may just have to update drivers or if you are on a laptop with integrated graphics, even though it supports dx12 it won’t be able to run it.

Cause it needs the SM6 which requires 12_2 feature level with integrated GPU only going to 12_1 for most. This happened to mine.

Not able to grow deino in the isle in any server anymore every time I grow 1 I die because every dang deino is a canni now and I hate it can’t even grow 1 to a adult anymore it’s not possible in anyway they are all can I and just kill for sport and it’s boring spending so many hours growing and just get killed for sport by another deino player:(

Found a fix for this issue.

DLSSEnabled=True in the GameUserSettings.ini is False by default, when turned to True DLSS no longer causes the previous issues.
IDK if this is intended or not ~ if they're working with a different plugin in the True/False signifier, but this is currently a workaround if nothing else for the time being, for those who want/need the performance.

Guide on how to fix:

Close the game.

Type %localappdata% in Windows Searchbar (Start Menu or RUN command)

Navigate to \AppData\Local\TheIsle\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini

Open in text editor.

Change DLSSEnabled=False to DLSSEnabled=True

Save changes.

Relaunch the game, and change your DLSS preferences in-game to your liking.

I only just stumbled across it trying to rebind my controls using my backed up Input.ini file, and while that didn't work (The controls didn't update despite changing them in the .ini) this issue had seen a resolution (Was experiencing the same 4x screen issue prior to the change)
So, I don't know if this will cause any other issues, like crashing or any other abnormalities.

I haven seen no issues for many hours of testing. Runs just like the previous DLSS.

It’s server side so nothing will change whatever you do. You can still get diet and stuff just not smell it, get a photo of dilos diet and use that to see if you can eat a body or not

Is it normal to be struggling to get 30-40 FPS on medium settings with an RTX 3080? What broke with the graphics settings on horde test? I know they improved the engine and added some new thing with the graphics but dropping to less than 20% of the FPS I used to get seems a little much.

I'm reaching out here hoping that maybe someone might have found a solution to launch Evrima from Steam but it says that the game is already running when it isn't. I've already tried:

• Uninstalling/reinstalling the game.
• Restarted the pc.
• Checked Task Manager to see if the game is running there already to close it but it wasn't listed.
• Deleted the appcache folder in the Steam folder.
• Verified the game's files via Steam.
• Updated my graphics card/drivers.
• Tried reaching out to Steam for support but for The Isle they said they can't help and it's best to email them.
• I emailed The Isle's support only to get an automated response for it to not exist.

For further context, I originally bought the game early July and it kept crashing my pc (later found it it was due to an antivirus software) so I had to force shut it down and turn it on again. I ended up uninstalling it and got a refund. I then bought it last night thinking that I might be able to play it since the solution was found and now instead of it crashing my pc it thinks that another instance of it is already running.
Legacy works fine but I don't want to play Legacy xD

How to do a clean uninstall

• windows + r
• search %localappdata%
• find The Isle folder and DELETE it

• Right click the game on steam
• properties > local files > browse

• try to reinstall the game

This can have several reasons, either your hard drive needs space, the steam folder is read only or there is corrupted data in your steam files.

Firstly check if your HD has got enough space, if so you’ll maybe want to re-install steam (there are ways to do so without loosing your games if you have many installed).

Couple more things you can try

• Verify the game files by right clicking the game in your steam library, properties, files, verify integrity of files.

• Make sure your anti-virus isn't blocking the game/download (directions in the pins, you may need to open the common issues doc)

• Make sure the game is installing on the same drive as steam

• Check that steam isn't read only: open windows explorer, go to the drive steam is installed on, right click steam folder, properties, uncheck read only (the box should be blank) click apply. Then try downloading the game again

Fix for hitting enter causing your game settings to change?

• find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config
• do not write anything, just search it by eye!

My friend has been getting some issues with the isle recently, no matter wich version of the isle he installs it just restarts his pc every time he turns it on. He tried file veryfying, reinstalling and gpu updating. It also cant be that he isnt meeting the reqs since he has better specs than i could ever dream of.

maybe try and streamline your laptop as much as possible so you are not running excessive apps and browser tabs etc, windows startup processes that might use up cpu/gpu resources that you need for the game

• could try deleting TheIsle folder in appdata\local (the game will recreate it with default settings next time it runs) and then set your graphics options up again

you could try checking your graphics card/gpu load and gpu temp while the game is running:

i use the gpu-z free util - https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/

switch out to the desktop and run gpu-z while evrima is running in the background, switch to the sensors tab and check the GPU Load and also Memory Used and GPU Temperature (nb. don't forget to close gpu-z when finished using it)

(in gpu-z - on top right hand side click on the 3 lines icon for settings ... and under general tab click the checkbox for GPU-Z windows always on top ... - you can also click the sensors tab to turn off which sensors are active and that you don't want to view and also set sensor refresh rate)

• also can check in NVIDIA Control Panel (right click on an empty space on your desktop. It should be one of the options in the menu) → Manage 3D Settings → Global Settings or Program Settings (to custom set for Isle game only), and check “Power Management Mode” eg. “Prefer Maximum Performance.” if you have adequate cooling hence check gpu temp/cpu temp

you can right click the taskbar in windows desktop and run Task Manager (or Ctrl-Alt-Del and select Task Manager) then go to Detail tab and click the CPU column to sort it highest to low ... check what is using the most cpu % - you can see what other apps/programs are using cpu as well

you can also right click the taskbar and choose task manager then go to startup tab in windows 10 or 11 and make sure not too many things are being loaded that you don't need - just right click and disable things (or right click to enable them again) if you don't think they need to be loaded - make sure no spyware/malware is being loaded at startup

do a scan of your pc/laptop for spyware/malware/risky apps etc using anti-malware/anti-spyware software for example - popular free ones that i haved used for many, many years:

maybe in isle menu - graphics settings - cap your frame rate to 60 or put vsync on so you don't get too high with the fps pushing your gpu temp up (isle game menu - graphics - frame rate limit - 60 fps / also can turn v-ysnc on if you want)

if you have a discrete graphics card and onboard integrated graphics gpu then windows will determine which one to use when a game runs but you can manually select and tell windows to use the more powerful of the two for a specific game/app - which would normally be your discrete graphics card ...

when im logging into the isle and trying to find a server, every time i push a button the window changes size about three times in quick succession and currently wont let me select a server to join

i have closed and reopened the game a few times and updated my game driver, but no change

should i uninstal and reinstall the game? just wanted to check here before i do that because it takes a while to download

@livid relic you can type /unstuck in the in game chat might work or you can tag the @ official server admin role in the official server channel for the official server you are stuck in and mention your in game name and hopefully someone is available to help

nb. if the /unstuck doesn't work it could be because other players are close by ... you can also try logging out while your dino is still alive and logging back in later and the /unstuck command might work the next time

foud a salution, delete game, remove folder and all data in "C:\Users(USERNAME)\AppData\Local" Delete folder "TheIsle". Reinstall game. now it works again.

as far as I know Deino doesn't have the implemented "E three times"

perhaps you can get organs the usual way, holding the corpse in your mouth and hold LMB+shake mouse

Everytime i launch the isle evrima it say DirectX 12 is not supported on your system try running without dx12 or d3d12 command line arguments. And yes i have updated my driver. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi. When I use the REPLAYS function, I have problems with water. Sometimes you can't see the water at all, and sometimes it's green.
Also, some movies are black, you can only hear the sound.

• search %localappdata%
• find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config
• do not write anything, just search it by eye!
