Have you tried clearing your config folder?

You may need to reinstall the game if clearing config and verifying files doesn't work

I'm assuming you swapped to Horde test branch, it's possible the config folder has conflicting data from the evrima branch

Hi I need help! I have been trying to connect to NA 1-west for a few weeks now(I was playing before and have an 18% grown deino), but every time I wait in queue and get in, it redirects me to the main page and says "Client Disconnected, server is full, wait in queue". I can’t play on the hoardtesting because it crashes every 5 seconds (not exaggerating sometimes even 2 or 3 seconds) once I am able to get in a server like if there’s no que I’m fine and can play normally but if I’m in the main screen or anything else then in a server it crashes within seconds no error message or anything just freezes and closes

you can open "system information" by opening Windows Run dialog ("Windows key + R" shortcut or Right click on Start button and select "Run" from pop-up menu), type "msinfo32" in Run dialog, and click on OK button.

this will give you some info about your laptop/pc such as os build version, processor etc ... under components on the left side you can expand and check display to find out more about your graphics gpu/adapter

• to check what graphics card/gpu is identified/installed in your pc/laptop and windows:

run dxdiag.exe from the windows start/search ... there will be a display tab for each graphics card/gpu installed in your pc/laptop - select a display tab ... on the right hand side look for where it says feature levels ... check if it supports 12_1, 12_0 (minimum) and not just 11_1, 11_0, 10_1, 10_0, 9_3, 9_2, 9_1, 9_0 etc ... you can also see what graphics driver version/date you are running just above it.

or

right click taskbar - task manager - click performance tab - scroll down on the left side to GPU - how many GPU's listed? click on GPU 0 and you can see the driver version/date/directx version/maximum directx level supported ... same for GPU 1 if you have more than one graphics adapter / gpu - eg. a discrete/dedicated graphics card and an onboard integrated graphics chip

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

yes, the game requires a dedicated GPU to run, integrated one doesn't work, unless it's a very specific one from AMD which somehow runs the game (very poorly)

hello everyone im having this problem... when i start the game it would start in some wrong resolution... goin to the settings it shows that the resolution is the right one but pressing the button apply will fix it... goin in a server will start normal with 60fps but in about 1 min it goes down to 15... changin all the settings to minimun will not help after that my dino will start to get blurry when i move... some kind of ghostly effect update: playing in windowed fullscreens run a LOT better staying between 55 and 60fps

So I've seen that several people have this problem, but when I try to load a saved replay, it never renders (but I do get weather sounds) and throws me the error in the screenshot. I have tried lowering my resolution and settings with no success and just get the same error. It tends to happen more reliably when I skip forward in the replay. For context, my GPU is an RX570 with 16GB of memory. I don't have any terrible problems with running the game on high settings which makes me more confused as to why I am having this problem. Is there anyone with a fix for this? I have seen that someone has already tried wiping their saved/config folder which didn't resolve the issue previously.

having issues with sound and i'm wondering if its just on my end or if all of hordetesting is just weirdly quiet?

I'll hear footsteps clearly, all the effects like eating and drinking and splashing in mud and water, i'll hear calls (sometimes- not on beipi for some reason, whose broadcast sounds very soft and sometimes doesnt make noise at all)
But the environment itself is dead silent. I'll hear the occasional sound effect of a bird call or twigs snapping, and storms, but the background ambience is completely absent in most areas. I have the music setting turned to 0 because i'd rather immerse myself and music kinda takes me out/distracts me from other players, but i dont think its that. master sound set to 95%.

Sometimes when i step into an area, its like a switch is flipped and suddenly i'll hear the ambience, but most of the time its dead and only sound effects and my own footsteps pierce the silence

I have a BIG problemo, every time I join a server (haven’t tested if it does this on other servers) my game will just exit full screen, stop making sound, then within 1-2 minutes it crashes and says fatal error. Not a gamebreaking bug but something that's really annoying. 9/10 times that I go to load into a server that has free slots in it, it's actually full. (E.G: game says 93/100 but it's actually 100/100) and whenever I try to load in, I get stuck on connecting for ages and I usually just have to restart the game because backing out and going back in bugs the game and no servers show up. Also, even if I manage to get in the queue, when it's my turn to connect, the game kicks me out and says "server full, please join the queue".

hey ive never understood this are you supposed to only be able to alt attack as a juvi whenever i attack it acts as a alt attack idk why bug or supposed to be like that?

Flickering between this and normal, only happens when the camera is at a certain angle and there is a big enough bush/grass directly in front of the camera

there should be a setting to turn off auto alt bite in game play tab

lol no problem, drove me nuts for a long time

and my issue magically resolved on its own somehow so I guess everything works out in the end
