This patch released less than 24 hours ago, and disk write errors can occur with any game. Maybe the Isle's files are set to read-only, that could cause it as well

Right click the Isle in your steam library, hover over Manage, click Browse local files, click "common" at the top, then right click The Isle and click Properties. If a box is checked that says "Read only", try turning it off. I'm not certain this'll fix the issue but it's just something that came to mind

the amd fidelity option is completely broken and my performance has been horrible after the update

seems like a pretty important thing to fix since they completely took away the old anti aliasing option and replaced it with something that not only doesn't work but also actively worsens the game performance

just bought the game a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by how well everything ran after all of the performance complaints I heard about and was very excited to try out the update and now I'm faced with this..

The Isle does not have a native Linux build, it is being translated using Proton, which translates Windows games to be able to play them on Linux. FSR works on other games through proton. I think the issue here is that the option is broken. Maybe I can manually set it in the settings file and see what that does

Settings seem bugged, they don't stick, an example is DLSS, even when it's ON it's Not, unless in game you toggle it OFF and ON, then it responds correctly with higher FPS, I do this every play through

hello! i have a problem with joining servers. Didn't played for month or 3, took a break. Launched game - it's good, checked setting - everything is good, like before. When clicked to join server — just loading screen for infinity. Wifi maybe not the best, but i played before, checked connection and other game, that requires much better wifi connection is playing alright. Is it something like "delete folder" problem? That might be your personal play style problem , because the AI actually spawn , but I would say that they have specific area , for example like east plain and south plain

But commonly there will be a lot of player around those area , so you won't 100% guaranteed to counter AI

For anyone experiencing constant crashes and fatal errors, fixed mine temporarily by lowering my performance core ratio in BIOS settings, I also turned off xmp but that didn’t change anything by itself, not sure if that’s something you want to do for this game but it made mine go from crashing before getting in game to mostly stable w no issues except shadows tweaking a bit here and there, goodluck

Had all cores set to sync and lowered it from 55 to 43, probably too much but I didn’t feel like figuring out where the sweet spot was

Seems like only some people or servers were affected by a character wipe. You should try and switch serveral servers to confirm if you really lost your character. They also don't get displayed in the menu right away after this server addition.
