i've just gone back through the player's log files who i was helping try to resolve this integrity check failure disconnect and i just noticed earlier on in both of their logs files that i had available to look through - that they had the following message:

etc ... (it carries on with normal processing right up to just before where it would normally connect to the server with a 'LogNet: Welcomed by server' message)

then further on in the log files they have the following where it fails integrity check and then disconnects/unloads:

comparing to my own log files I don't see that error message 'Anti-cheat client not available, using null client
' as occurs in their log files - as I don't have any issues playing the game ...

so does that mean that easy anti-cheat for some reason is not installed correctly or is being blocked on their pc/laptop and windows even though it seems as though it is installed correctly?

*** would be interesting if others having Anti-Cheat integrity check failed (0x2200) error are also having the same 'Anti-cheat client not available, using null client' error as well early on in their logs and then later in the log/processing getting the integrity check failure disconnect? ***

Open Task Manager, then click Performance, then click GPU. Its name will be in the top right of the window

That's your CPU, but I can see the name of your GPU on the side there. I'm sorry, but that's an integrated GPU and is not strong enough to run evrima. You would have to get a dedicated graphics card

5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.

8. Start the game.

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

i might have an idea/identified what is possibly/potentially causing this easy anti-cheat integrity check failure for some players based on the recent log files i was able to read through from one player via DM's ...

I might DM you if it is ok and see if can look through a couple of your log files, if you make it available, so i can see if you have a similar issue to the other person i have just been helping ...

there is a definite problem in the early stages of the whole process from first running the isle from steam through to the error presenting on screen ... this initial issue i believe potentially causes the main Anti-Cheat integrity check failed error later as easy anti-cheat is about to authorise/allow connection to a server

Hi, I've bought the isle 2 days ago and played legacy for a while.
After going to evrima I started crashing constantly, every 2 minutes or so my screen freezes and takes 5 minutes until I get the crash message and game closes.

I've tried reinstalling, like wiping out everything in folders with "The Isle". After installing everything back nothing helped and once i connected to the server one minute playing screen freezes again.

I've tried verifying game files, deleting the config folder, everything I could find.
Yet didn't find any solution yet so I'm heading here as I got told.

Anyone got any solutions with the constant crashing and screen freezing? Unplayable with every 2 minutes crashing then 6 minutes closing the game and joining back to the server

the minimum requirements on the steam page are for legacy, not Evrima

but you can try to delete the config folder to see if it helps with your FPS. Updating drivers for the GPU are also recommended

try turning off your ONT/ONU device (Optical Network/Fibre Box) and your modem/router for 20 mins or so initially and if that not helps, then try again but leave off for a few hours or as long as you can up to 24 hrs and see if your isp provides a new dynamic ip address (assuming you don't have a static ip address) when you turn them back on - occasionally turning off/rebooting a modem/router/ont can sometimes fix issues

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.

that can happen if the game has crashed to the desktop etc but there is an instance of the game still running in memory ... use task manager (right click windows taskbar - task manager) to look for any extra isle game .exe instances still running in memory and right click on them and choose end task or just restart your pc/laptop

So I found something that worked but I cant be certain your having the same issue, turns out my ISP blocked unreal engine games I have no idea why so I going to be calling them today. Using a VPN tho was the only thing thats worked.

@shut kestrel - i asked someone a few days ago who also couldn't play the isle/unable to connect to isle servers from about a month ago - and i asked them if they had resolved the connection issues in the end after trying all suggestions/possible solutions mentioned here including fixes/solutions in pinned messages ...

• their resolution was to change ISP provider and in the process got a new modem/router and the game now works for them

using a VPN/proxy server app sidesteps the 'real ip' of the client being involved and could work for awhile but ultimately it would be nice to know why genuine players are having issues in the first place ... was it incompatible apps/software running/installed, driver issues/windows update, firewall/antivirus/permissions/ports being blocked/not being forwarded, modem/router etc or potentially an ISP or easy anti-cheat blocking IP's, steam accounts or even types of traffic, regional blocking etc ...

I solved the problem, for anyone with the same problem, all you have to do is go to steam right click on the isle, manage, browse local files, then click on the isle, binaries, Win64, then right click and click new, text document and name it steam_appid, open it and write 376210 save it then open the game

The developpers didn't make it so it gives you the steam subsystem error when launching the game in evrima so it keeps you wondering what the problem is. it gives you the error in legacy tho

This means it took too long to connect to the server so the game quit.

Make sure you're joining servers with lower ping, check your internet connection and speed, and try adjusting your steam ping settings

Does anyone know why FPS drops dramatically to 10-5 at some random points? Not even at random points, but when the sun rises for instance. My graphics are set to medium with no Lumen. this might have interrupted the download? or it might still be blocked by the antivirus until you remove it (add exception) from the antivirus quarantine/vault and maybe also add an exception for the isle game folder in the antivirus ui menu

you might need to add an exception to your antivirus for the main Isle game folder and ensure firewall is not blocking any of the isle game files or easy anti-cheat

nb. i think if you leave this beta dropdown box on none/empty it will install legacy by default

• if you are switching between different versions eg. legacy, evrima public, horde testing you might need to delete TheIsle appdata folder after switching:

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

That GPU has the required features for the Isle, so it should be a driver issue. Make sure to update your GPU drivers and windows as well. For AMD cards you can use AMD Adrenaline if you haven't already used it, makes it easier to update your GPU correctly.

I tried to delete the isle folder and crlean the steam download cache and uninstall but after of them, when I launch the isle horde testing branch, this is all I see now.

if I clicked the screen, it will be blackout and break my monitor ratio. can't open other applies anything. this is terrible.

Have done a complete fresh reinstall of the game and swapped to hordetesting branch, still cannot see: other players, other ai, foliage. I also have 'inverted' NV, where underwater is pitch black and above water is the bright white outlines.

• close your game
• press windows + r
• search %localappdata%
• find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config
• do not write anything, just search it by eye!
  all your settings will become default, including the automatic alt bite

is there any fix for the game freezing when ever im connecting to a server? it will show connecting for a couple of seconds and then the entire game will freeze and can only be closed via task manager. I've updated my drivers, verified files, and reinstalled the game but nothing changes, tried on both official and unofficial servers too.

when you say crash what exactly does it do or say? is your graphics driver up to date? windows up to date including optional updates?

i've only just started testing out this latest horde test on eu server and i have not had any crash yet ... just a disconnect earlier which might have been a server restart while i was afk for a few mins

there is a newer build out so they may have a new patch for horde test coming soon?

what graphics driver version are you currently using:

run dxdiag.exe from the windows start/search ... there will be a display tab for each graphics card/gpu installed in your pc/laptop - select a display tab ... you can see what graphics driver version/date you are running

or

right click taskbar - task manager - click performance tab - scroll down on the left side to GPU - how many GPU's listed? click on GPU 0 and you can see the driver version/date/directx version/maximum directx level supported ... same for GPU 1 if you have more than one graphics adapter / gpu - eg. a discrete/dedicated graphics card and an onboard integrated graphics chip

just ping the official server admin role in the official server channel that it happened on - just say you reporting what you think might be hacking/cheating and your in game name ... but they don't want you to name anyone in the chat ... they will investigate if admin is available to do it ... they might message you for evidence etc

I tried to download the hordetesting branch, it literally broke my game, when I launch it it crashes, then I restart it and I get the 1st screen, I check the files and I get a disk write error. I've uninstalled everything and started again, I can't even restore the basic version.... Even if I delete the folders by hand in my game files (saves etc).

I've had underwater night vision issues for a very long time, I've taken the help I can get multiple times, yet the "sonar outlined" underwater night vision all my friends have, still wont appear for me, and its just incredibly foggy, blind blue-ness. For asking to get a friend unstuck you need to ping an offical server admin in either Evrima NA (if your in a NA server), Evrima EU (if your in an EU server), etc etc, same goes for the rest AU, and SA. When you ping the official server admin, tell them exactly what server you are in, and what you(or your friends in this case) IGN is.

Dont expect to get a response right away, as much as people would love the admins to be available all the time for unstucking, they just arent, and never really have been extremely active in that area. The best you can do is wait for someone to be online, ping the role, and hope they are willing to help you.

this is general information about your game crashing in general:

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall, may need to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS can cause the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. You may need to upgrade your system. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system". You may have an unstable version of Windows as well, If it's not a GPU under our recommended minimum specs. Try reinstalling Windows if that's the case.

If none of the above works, you likely have too old a GPU and need to upgrade your PC or, you can wait for a possible update or fix. Evrima is a new game, it has new tech in it, it will not be as easy to run as Legacy. If you find yourself having this specific error, you're likely needing to upgrade your pc, or consider the switch over to Geforce Now, which can run The Isle Evrima very well, depending on which subscription you get.

Also could try to reinstall, validate files again, as this is evrima there could (heavy on the could im not an expert) be something wrong with your files or hardware.

ok i mean i have a geforce RTX 2060 which i upgraded to a year ago so i dont think its my gpu, and I just factory reset my PC so i reinstalled windows like a week ago so i dont think my OS is outdated

im currently redownloading the game for the third time, hopefully it works

i might also try and reinstall my gpu drivers if that doesnt work, but again im not having any issues running any other games
