I was privately messaging another about this intermittent freezing bug, here is an excerpt of almost everything I've tried

a wide range of things, from deleting local settings to bios updates, turning off anti-virus/malware software and making exclusions, ram/cpu clock changes, checking filsystem corruption, i even attempted on a new install of windows with issue still prevalent which made me think it was a hardware issue but we were able to replicate this bug on another machine as well. we have also found out that the freezing increases depending on the amount of players there are in a lobby(with me being the only one in a lobby there is no issue prevalent on evrima, increasing player population only changes the frequency of the game freezing)  so this made us think it was a networking issue, which we both run separate DNS so no correlation, so we might think its RedpointEOS or Easy Online Service causing the problem since the file version have changed between testing branches

• after adding exception to your antivirus for the isle you may need to delete the 'The Isle' game folder from where it is installed (right click on the isle in steam - properties - installed files - browse to find the location where the game is installed which will open as a File Explorer window in the background in the taskbar) and then maybe restart your pc/laptop then back into windows and run steam again and see if it successfully downloads the game again

i switch back and forth between horde test and evrima public branch with no issues but usually delete or rename TheIsle folder in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\ each time after switching and just set up my custom graphics settings, keys and skins again ... and sometimes reinstall easy anti-cheat to ensure it's the latest version

(i have noticed on the public branch servers i think was na1 or na3 there was some rubberbanding and ping spikes and noticed a boar someone had killed was still showing the live animation and i was able to eat from it while it was 'alive' but eventually a few mins later it changed to the normal dead body animation - so a bugged body? the latest horde test (0.13.39.05) has been running well for me on na1 and eu1)

double click to run it, then open the game and see if it works

There was a guide I read to fix mine, I had to run a use a specific windows setting, and it allowed me to turn the anticheat from "manual" start to "automatic"

If neither of those things work, then I don't know. The guy I gave that advice to never replied saying it didn't work so I'm assuming that it worked.

the horde test na server running the latest 0.13.40.06 i think has just gone down at the moment ... it had 3-4 times higher ping for me just before (first time the horde test servers have had a high ping for me since it came out just over 10 days ago) so they maybe doing stuff to it or is being restarted?

I would like to contact you on the recommendation of several people. It's been about 3 weeks since it's been impossible for me to connect to an EU or unofficial server. I launch the game, it launches, I arrive on the home page without problem, I click on play, I have the list of 19 servers displayed. I choose one regardless of the number of players from 5 to 80 players and systematically return to the home page after a few seconds of “Connection”. So I tried a lot of solutions:
check the integrity of game files in steam,
-delete the config file using %loacalappdata%
-delete the “SAVED” folder
-lower graphics options to minimum
-uninstall the anticheat and reinstall,
-disable all firewalls, windows defender,
-uninstall the game, reinstall nothing, same thing
-uninstall Steam then reinstall and the game!
-formatted my PC all reinstalled with all my drivers up to date, windows up to date, still the same problem!!
I admit that I no longer have any idea. More and more people are affected by the same problem as me.
Will it be possible to report the BUG please! I'm desperate, I've been looking for a solution for about forty hours by searching the forums, discords and YouTube. I have a good configuration, it can't come from there.

seems they are asking for the person to run procmon diag tool from microsoft to show all activity going on as the game loads? ... file system, registry, network, process etc with all events on and then compress/archive and send to them?

• something else to possibly try is turning off your ONT/ONU device (Optical Network/Fibre Box) and your modem/router for a few hours or as long as you can up to 24 hrs and see if your isp provides a new dynamic ip address (assuming you don't have a static ip address) when you turn them back on - occasionally turning off/rebooting a modem/router/ont can fix connection issues

Hello, I have an issue with FPS stability in the Evrima version. A few days ago, everything was working very well; I typically had between 60 to 100 FPS during gameplay. However, for the past few days in the Evrima version, I've been experiencing FPS drops to 2 every few minutes. i switch back and forth between horde test (new horde test patch just came out i think - 0.13.40.08?) and evrima public branch with no issues in my fps but i usually delete or rename TheIsle folder in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\ each time after switching and just reset up my custom graphics settings back down to 1920 x 1080, taa, medium - windowed full screen - vsync capped at 60 fps, keys and skins again then restart isle and then log back in and start playing ... and sometimes reinstall easy anti-cheat to ensure it's the latest version

did u check the ingame graphic settings as they will default to the maximum settings usually - well for me they do so i lower everything back down as i have an rtx 2070 and can't run everything on higher settings and still get a 'smooth' consistent fps experience

i just got to edge of south east swamps on evrima public branch eu5 and stormy/thunder and i am now getting lag/ping spike/rubberbanding as i approach south east waterways but it has gone again after 20 - 30 seconds and hasn't come back so far

not sure what the issue would be if horde test is ok and you delete theisle folder in appdata/local as you switch between the branches and reset your graphics settings in game afterwards?

horde test is an na server at the moment - have you tried na servers offical or na unofficial instead of eu servers on the evrima public branch as an extra check?

maybe the shader cache or other caches - nvidia or directx or even steam shader caches? (make a backup first if you need to if you choose to delete any cache files/folders in the different cache folders as cache files related to other games will also be stored in these cache folders)

@bitter geyserI'm apparently in the same situation as you, as are many other players! very very surprised by this possible ban, because for me it was a bug in the game I am in the process of doing the procedure to get unbanned but it is an obstacle course because we cannot contact the isle directly easy anticheat! you have to go through the isle support first! In short, it's a hassle because they've never responded to me for over a month since I've been trying to contact them about my problem! not for the ban for the game bug that I thought was the cause. Hello, I was on main branch and the sound was extremely choppy, gives headache type choppy, i switched to hordetesting yesterday and the sound was working great apart from the fatal era and no sound. After patch in horde testing the sound is all choppy again especially in storm, while using scent and while looking around. @fiery scarab Thanks, I tried relogging and it hadn't worked, I then uninstalled and reinstalled and that had seemed to removed the worst of the sound bug, although in game weather was not as intense at the time nor was there as many players around. I’d recommend to either reinstall your anti cheat by following the instructions in the pins, or verifying your game files.

If you install for the first time it’ll install the legacy branch of the game which is not the active development branch, that would be evrima. To play that you have to switch branches in the beta tab of the steam options.

not sure if it affects isle gamers but they say on the nvidia drivers download page one of the fixes provided by this driver release:

nb. there is an option during install to do a clean install of the graphics driver which some may choose to do

... amd's latest graphics driver release was back on the 24th January 2024

so you may consider switching to running the latest steam client beta:

look in the right hand side of the windows taskbar for your antivirus icon ... right click it and see if it mentions quarantine/vault or open up your antivirus and look for quarantine or vault depending on which antivirus you have

if it is an issue with your antivirus blocking the isle game .exe then in the quarantine/vault you might see the isle game file and you can usually click on a arrow and choose to add an exception

that is most likely your antivirus has flagged the isle game .exe as suspicious and put it in quarantine and put a write lock on that file/folder - you need to check your antivirus quarantine to see if any of the 'The Isle' files are in there and take them out of quarantine and also you could add exception to your antivirus for the isle game folder or at least an exception for the isle game .exe located in '...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle\TheIsle\Binaries\Win64\TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe' and then possibly need to reinstall/verify the game (in steam - right click the isle - properties - installed files - verify)

• after adding exception to your antivirus for the isle you may need to delete the 'The Isle' game folder from where it is installed (right click on the isle in steam - properties - installed files - browse to find the location where the game is installed which will open as a File Explorer window in the background in the taskbar) and then maybe restart your pc/laptop then back into windows and run steam again and see if it successfully downloads the game again

Go into %appdata% and find the isle folder. There should be a folder that says “installanticheat” or along the lines of that. Run that folder then it will download anti cheat

ive just managed to get evrima to work and i would like to know which servers are the genuine ones

Every time I run The Isle and some specific time passes my fps start to fall from 120 to 20-1 for a minute, after this instead of any sounds of the game or PC in general, a very loud hiss suddenly appears in my headphones. It usually solves by turning off any sound devices just after the moment when the fps start to decrease. This happens only for TI and probably after a patch for 6.5 update
How do I fix this? :’(

Hello world my game keeps crashing I thought its my pc being a potato but rn I found out a guy feels fine with a tripple potato instead of a pc and yeaaah- this appears not all the time only maybe once in 5 tries but still it does. 2 go to the hard drive with the isle installed on it

3 go to steam library

4 steam apps

5 common

6 the isle

7 run the batch file uninstall anti cheat

8 run the install anti cheat batch file
Should be good if 7 and 8 don't work

Go back to step 6go into the easy anti cheat folder open the easy anti cheat setup application (if it works for you sometimes it doesn't) select the isle and repair in the bottom left corner of the box if that doesn't bring up the blue box or doesn't work

Go back to step 6 delete the easy anticheat file go to steam properties local files and verify file integrity let it download
