@drowsy elm i have the same problem, I can already tell that reinstalling or repairing the files via Steam doesnt work. I had this same bug a week ago after the micro patch and had to wait for the next small patch the day after. I don know if there is a solution to this problem.

Are you trying to set shadows to low? That option doesn't work, you'll have to set it to medium. That should also fix the fog issue

And what do you think content has to do with performance i mean sure chess vs COD will have a difference but at scales of video games a game like the isle and gta V it wont matter that much espasliy when the ilse is made to run on modern hardware while GTAs code base is not

If you have a RTX card use DLSS, turn ray tracing to off, set global illumination to anything but lumen and set lens flare, bloom and motion blur to low, shadows to medium and try and find a good balance with the rest of the settings, and resolution to 1920x1080

win+r type in "sysdm.cpl", advanced, settings, advanced, changed, uncheck autoamtic manage paging file size for all drives, dissable paging for the slowest drive(in this case the C drive), take your ram in GB times 1024 so for me its 24 times 1024=24576 and then set it as custom size and set it as both values as seen in the picture ||you need to put in the product of 8*1024 where i put 24576||

Fatal errors and server disconnects since last update. Both seem to randomly happen, I can go hours without a crash in a busy area, or I could be in the middle of nowhere just logged on. Sometimes I'll get disconnected when I'm customising character, or sometimes surrounded by enemies. If we could get crash logs that we can submit, that may do some good. Because right now, it's basically random

EDIT: Updated Windows, deleted Saved data in AppData, reinstalled the game, checked for driver updates, and still getting fatal errors. Just gotta wait for a fix, something in the latest update is causing those errors without a fix in sight

I'm not able to enter queue it seems.
When the player count is 100/100 or above (yeah it happens sometimes) I can't join a queue, the game keeps trying to connect and eventually I'm thrown back to the menus or pick another server.

I am having trouble getting evrima to work properly. When I start, it gives me the error that the anti-cheat is not installed. I have tried the following to fix the error:

1. Reinstalling.
2. Getting a copy of the anti cheat from someone else and putting it in the folder and replacing my current files with it.
3. Adding the folder to exceptions in my anti-virus program.

None of these things has worked, and honestly I am at a loss on how to make it work properly. Does anyone have anything else that I might be able to try?

This has been happening to me since the launch of the gateway, I log into a server and it hangs on the connecting screen for minutes and then this screen appears for a few seconds and goes back to the menu (when it doesn't give a fatal error) has anyone experienced the same and got something solution??

I can't find any fish as a Pteranodon. I can find (via Scent, under Q) what is ASSUME is fish (the water drop icon), but there is not a single fish shool for me to find - i have scouted rivers coing from the dammed lake in the water access, far and wide, and nothing.
Did the visual effect for fish vanish in recent update? Is there a graphics setting that disables it?

I get "micro fps" drops, my friend gets them too. Other players dont it seems. Game runs perfect, but every 10 - 20 second everything freezes for half a second and fps goes to 0, i keep dying from this. I got 16gb ram, i7 8700k proc, 2080ti graphics.
