Mine is 1650 an it’s ROUGH. The isle evrima just works terribly for computers that aren’t stupidly overpriced.

However, im not a tech person so it could be something that isn’t wrong with the GPU but as someone with a higher GPU than you and my game STRUGGLES BADLY in populated areas or in high foliage areas I think that might be it.

I have the same exact problem. My GPU is slightly better, being Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics. I have been trying many things to solve the issue, and nothing seems to work unfortunatelly. Driver is up to date, tried uninstalling and installing Evrima again and again like 4 times now and so on

Like, my goal is just to play the game, even if its on medium and low graphics settings, I don't mind really, as long as I can play

And sure, my laptop does run Legacy perfectly well on medium graphics, so if all else fails I can still play that, but Evrima is my goal, as the Gateway update truly captivated me, as the game feels more alive than ever, compared to especially Legacy's objective dullness

Hello, I've just purchased The Isle last night and have just recently found the Envrima Beta and have been trying to get it to work for like 3 hours now. I'm getting the "DirectX 12" error. I've been following the steps to get it to work but have yet to succeed. But maybe I'm still doing something wrong. I'm running Windows 11 and meet the minimum requirements and above. Is there any other reason it's not working?(Legacy does work for me btw)

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Ok.. so I've tested this on multiple servers, NA & EU, I get stuttering no matter what. 15 ping, 150-300 fps.
4090 card, tried messing with gfx settings. No difference. I get stuttering/lag every 10 seconds or so.
Network seems stable, 5GB up/down fiber. 0.01 latency.

I have a problem, I used to play this game on All High settings with around 50-55 FPS sometimes dropping to around 10-15. I used to think this is normal but playing at a friends PC with worse specs than me i found out that guy get over 80 FPS sometimes nearly 90. I asked him why and he told me he play all low settings, a guy here also recommended i reduce graphics to get performance.

So i lowered all the settings but textures and effects, 30 3D Image slider and view distance as Far.

MY Specs,

RAM : tridents rgb neo 16gb (2 X 8gb) 3600MHZ
VGA : RTX 2070

My Friends PC Specs,
CPU : I7 3rd gen
RAM : 12 GB (dont know the make)
VGA : GTX 1080 (Pretty much similar to my RTX card in performance department since its a 80...)

So my Question is, HOW DA FUDGE I GET 70FPS ON ALL LOW SETTINGS WHILE HE GET 100 FPS Low / High Mix Settings ?

Please help lmao. Recently did a cleanse of the games on my PC, just reinstalled the isle today. Everything seems normal, but any server I try to join (regardless of how full/empty it is, or what region it is) just auto-kicks me back to the main menu. No error message, kick message, or anything to explain why or what the problem is. I can get into queues, but once my number goes from 1 to "connecting," I am again booted back to the main menu. Everything worked fine yesterday, only change since has been the uninstall/reinstall. I've already placed the isle as an exception to windows virus & threat protection and windows defender firewall, so it shouldn't be a firewall issue. I've already tried to uninstall/reinstall again with a complete wipe of the isle folder. The issue is persisting.

Something that worked for me (so far) was going into steam, right clicking on The Isle in my library, selecting properties, then installed files, then "verify integrity of game files" - despite having reinstalled twice (once with a total wipe of all isle data from my PC), there was one file that Steam identified as needing to be patched.

After the patch I loaded up the isle. The first couple servers I tried to join gave me trouble, but I was eventually able to get into one and play for a while.

I don't know how solid of a fix this is, since after about 40 minutes of playing I was booted to the main menu without explanation again, but at least it's something?

If anyone finds a better fix, please let me know. I've been dealing with this for like 3 hours now so I'm taking a break and won't be verifying if my fix consistently works, or if I just got lucky, until I play again.

They have changed the ai a lot since legacy. It doesn't spawn on you anymore. Right now the ai spawns around area of high player count (east and NE plains) but it sounds like they are going to be changing it. It is bugged currently.

This is not normal, but unfortunatley a rare bug that can occur. When noticing a missing character, you should immediately close the game, that way it could load your character again when relogging the server.

I understood that, and I answered it. If your character is missing like you explained, you have a chance by "reloading" it like I explained. The server most likely didn't load your character data correctly.
