Ummm anyone else getting a wierd bug where, as a croc, you just continuously bounce at the top of the water? Also, idk if waterfalls don't appear underwater or what but all of a sudden my croc ended up getting stuck in the water bouncing bug with the tail up, and as I swam through what appeared to be a deeper area, my croc somehow fell through the water as though it were falling through thr air and died.

win+r type in "sysdm.cpl", advanced, settings, advanced, changed, uncheck autoamtic manage paging file size for all drives, dissable paging for the slowest drive(in this case the C drive), take your ram in GB*1024 so for me its 24*1024 and then set it as custom size and set it as both values as seen in the picture

Found my issue - if you update and have no official servers, make sure Isle didn't default back to Spiro even though it says/highlights Evrima - go into properties and actually click it. That did the trick for me.

It is a bug currently so as far as I know there is no "fix". The best way to prevent it is not to try to get into several different servers at once and not to use the search function to find the server you want since I have heard it has been causing some of the issues.

The server count is a bit inaccurate so you'll get booted out despite it appearing to have space. I'd suggest refreshing until you see a server have 100/100 then enter the queue : )

The fact that both of these animals made it to the live build with two major game breaking issues is kind of icky.

Herrera: Eating or being near another herrera eating causes fatal errors. Whole game just crashes. If you're the one that was eating to cause the fatal error, you KEEP eating the entire time you're frantically trying to re enter the game, meaning you'll overeat and puke.

This then gives you permanent vomit sickness where you can't gain nutrients and you'll just keep puking. You need to safelog and come back AGAIN to fix it.

... then get another fatal error soon after.

Dilo: Picking up ANYTHING like organs, meat, bodies, makes them stuck in your mouth and you can't drop it. You can only swallow it.

After this happens you won't be able to drink water, you just play the animation for half a second and then jitter back into an upright position.

I have an insane problem with the game currently. For what ever reason whenever there is an attempt to join a server, full or empty, it'll boot back to the main menu without an error message of any kind. AMD cards get a lot more affected by grainy grapichs it seems too

you can change these though. r.ScreenPercentage=100 is that your rendering at 100% which in this game tanks FPS so to elivate it try lowering it to r.ScreenPercentage=75 so you render at 75% this might make it look slightly worse and will be the middle ground between the usual game and your current setup(kinda as some settings are still changed in other commands). But you will need to put r.TemporalAA.Upsampling=0 to r.TemporalAA.Upsampling=25 for this to work properly. Ofc you change change these but make sure they allways add up to 100

and for the best visual's r.ScreenPercentage should be as high as possible

the issue here is a missing water texture under the waterfall. So you cannot get out from this part. You just fall dawn again (and can surface on this small water part). GPU is a Nvidia 2060

I am starting to wonder if this is just a feature of evrima. To me, everything looks incredibly blurred compared to legacy and there is also no option to turn motion blur off. Trees in the distance look blocky, and even the dinos don't look that clear until zoomed in close. I know I'm running in this picture, but to be honest, I can't appreciate the detail like in legacy because it just lacks the sharpness. Now, when i first tried evrima when it was released, it also looked wrong, however, there was a slider toggle called something like render scale? Putting this to 100% made everything look pin sharp, just like legacy. But a few updates later, this option got removed and I've continuously been frustrated as to why you just can't get it sharp any more. Is there anything I'm missing?

Hi everyone, I just got the game for Christmas and I've been trying to play as Deino. A friend of mine is trying to help me play aswell however when I use my night vision my game doesn't change at all. My eyes light up but nothing highlights when I'm in the water and I can't really see anything above water either. The contrast kind of changes from dark to a tiny bit lighter but his vegetation get highlighted on his game as well as other dinos, but mine isn't changing at all. is there a way to remove the thing that sends you into a solo server when joining a full server? it takes a long time to load, and basically is annoying as you take forever to get into it so you can log out (because you cant cancel it) and then try to join again, especially on official as it takes more actions to connect

I've installed the isle, changed the game in steam properties to evrima (it sounds better than legacy), and tried launching it

and basically, since then, not much has changed.

I've tried reinstallling the game, running with -dx12, -d3d12, -dx13, -dx11 commands, none having any effect. I've updated my windows. I've updated my drivers. My computer is capable of running dx12 I believe; I can try to upload some screenshots of the system command 'dxdiag', but thus far haven't been able to attach images to my message here. I've tried running the game from the folder, not from steam (get a different error message). I've reinstalled the easy-anti cheat.

I think I've tried everything I could find, and still, I have made no progress whatsoever.
The biggest progress I've made was when I updated my drivers and then instead of the dx12 issue I just received an 'unknown issue error 10022'

So, if anyone can help me anyhow to try to play this game, I'd be very grateful. Thank you in advance 💚

Because if you have integrated graphices the game might not work

Im sorry to tell you this but yes those are integrated graphics

I had the same problem eith my laptop and basically after alot of research on google i found out that you cannot play The Isle with integrated graphics

If you want to know what integrated graphics are please go search on google

It seems to be a problem in the communication between the game and Steam. Try this:
Type cmd in the Windows search bar, right-click on command prompt, choose ”run as an administrator”.
Type netsh winsock reset, press enter, close the command prompt and restart your computer.
