6 months later I figure out how to screenshot my pc so here, I'm tired of explaining this so many times. I have been running direct x 12 since it's release and the isle still gives me this every time I've tried playing, I have nearly 600 hours of this game and yet I feel as if nothing is being done to help.

Ok I tried everything, someone else with the same graphics card as myself had the same probleem and found out that our graphics card simply deflects the isle for some reason due to how UE5 works. All I can due is come back in another 6 months and pray that maybe this game either gets more compatibility or I somehow win the lottery so I can buy a 5k computer so I wont have to deal with this is another 8 months.

been having a problem. been having it before the update and was waiting for a new update with the hope of it getting fixed. but when i try to join any official server it loads for a few seconds and then either goes back to the menu or just closes the game with no crash log or anything. as for unofficial it loads for a few seconds and then it seems to freeze the whole game. i don't believe it is my pc not being able to run the game as i have a beefy pc. i've validated my files and nothing seems to be wrong there. my next step at this point is to purge all files i have on the isle and redownload the game. anyone got any ideas before i do that?

i've done some looking into on other discords i'm in. some people seem to not able to play the game atm due to some issue. you can keep trying however this may be something that needs fixed on the devs end. someone in another server said that they guess around an 8th or so is having this issue. idk if that is true or not but seeing how many people are having it jsut from here alone i'd believe it

thats just base weather bud. it changes after a while. i agree it sucks but thats the weather system for you... however after reading that second bit you may need to relog or it may be a client side problem.

what are your global illumination settings? ambient occlusion or lumen doesn't have fog (for me). but yeah, definitely need to restart game after applying any changes. someone said putting shadows on medium/high might help as well. i'd think effects also, but if all your settings are already on max.... idk

Oh you seem to have a pretty good cpu and a rtx gpu which are great but you only have 8gb of ram which can be a bit of a bottleneck, do you know if you have the isle on the C or E drive btw?

win+r type in "sysdm.cpl", advanced, settings, advanced, changed, uncheck autoamtic manage paging file size for all drives, dissable paging for the slowest drive(in this case the C drive), take your ram in GB*1024 so for me its 24*1024 and then set it as custom size and set it as both values as seen in the picture, make sure you have the amount of gb ram you have free on the drive.

I've verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, even moved my download location, checked i have all the correct files, but no matter what I do I cannot join an official or unofficial, it keeps me on the connecting screen for like 10 minutes, shows me the underside of the map and boots me back to the main menu, over and over again. The game worked fine before they did the hotfix for the unofficial servers.
