I've noticed that my sound glitches out during loud noises whenever I turn my head in game. When I am near a waterfall, or a deino attacking, f.e. and I turn my camera my sound glitches out and becomes static and lagged. Evrima is the only game where it has this issue.

I tried changing my graphic settings but the problem persists on all kinds of settings no matter if epic or low.

Since the patch i havent been able to get into any servers whatsoever, despite being able to beforehand. Config file has been deleted, files have been verified, and my drivers are all up to date. anyone got any ideas?

so theres this thing thats been happening ever since the horde test. At first I thought it was beacause the servers were close to full but no beacause now i tried to join a server with 40 free slots and it still happened. Basically I try and join the server and placed on the loading screen. All normal. Then my game freezes. Sometimes its the whole thing other times i can still move my mouse, game freezes regardless. then i have to wait 5 + MINUTES FOR MY GAME TO CRASH!!! also strange thing is after the screen unfreezes and my game finishes crashes i can see the game half rendered in then im sent back to the menu. im not sure if this is a config folder issue as I reset it when 6.5 came out but maybe i have to reset it again??? and yeah when i finish crashjng and im sent back to the menu this is the message that pops up. also i know for a fact its something to do with the update since when i went on live servers while hordetesting was happening and got in no issues. anyone having the same problem or any fixes??

I'm having low fps and sound cutting out issues (imagine sound but at 5 fps lol). I've tried Low settings but still get 20-40 fps. Oddly enough on Epic I get about the same. I'm running in full screen mode but my screen resolution is 3840x1080.

Its almost like a memory leak for me. So I'll be playing and it just gets worse and worse. Done a complete fresh install with a config file deleted as well. No improvment. I have the same result no matter any of the settings in game as well.

Seems like the game dont save changed controls longer than the session it got changed, have to set it up at the beginning of each time I start the game if I want other than defaults. So far tried out what Superlunary suggested to another guy in the discussion channel, deleted appdata TheIsle folder and the TheIsle folder in the game files (not the whole game), then verified. Sadly no effect on it. A friend having the same problem too.

So earlier I was playing and the issue with the drop in frames into the 20's happened again right after it was running smooth. I swapped from full screen/boarderless full screen no change. I swap to window mode and the game went back to normal. It let me switch it back to the other modes and keep working correctly. IDK if it was just timing or what.

Also, are the NA servers having abnormally long lag spikes and increase to ping? My ping as been lower in EU and I live in NA and that is not normal and didnt happen on spiro.

That's an issue with the graphic drivers. You will want to make sure they are fully and running on the correct version. I don't know what graphics driver you're running, but if it's NVIDIA, you can do that from their website. It's reccomended with this error you do it there, rather than from Geforce

It's not an issue with the game is the thing, its an issue of the drivers your computer is running. If windows didn't update them or they didn't update properly, it can cause issues such as the one you're encountering, and we can't assist without more information on what is causing the issue. A fresh new PC also won't resolve it, and likely will cause the same problem down the line if it doesn't update, which is very common with windows.

Then some months back, epic games, the creator of Fortnite pushed the game from unreal engine 5 to unreal engine 5.1. And this is where it goes out of hand. UE 5 can run dx12 ONLY on graphics cards with an above shader model 6 and unfortunately iris xe has shader model 5.1

Don't know about you guys, but I'm having a problem. Every time I join a server my keybind changes are reset to default and I have to reassign them after every game restart. I've already tried deleting the "Saved" folder but it didn't solve. The issue started after the last Evrima update.

Yeah but unreal 5 requires cards with the directx12 that was listed in the error message.

So make sure you update your gpu and if it’s a older card it may not support it

I've been having the same an issue since the recent update. I get the game to give me the intialiazing splash screen then crashes... I'm having low fps and sound cutting out issues (imagine sound but at 5 fps lol). I've tried Low settings but still get 20-40 fps. Oddly enough on Epic I get about the same. I'm running in full screen mode but my screen resolution is 3840x1080.

Day 1 I managed to grow a dino no problem. I was able to play it fairly decently, with some framedrops on specially scenic vistas, but nothing below 15fps, with max 60fps on enclosed spaces
