Rightclick the TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe and select properties, then make sure Disable Fullscreen optimizations are checked

Hello, I'm not sure if this is a temporary issue or what. But whenever I try to join EU servers (and I actually get let through due to them not being full) the entire game just crashes. I tried joining another official server that I've never been in before. And that worked fine. So is bc I had old dinos on those server from before the update was made? This is a common issue. The servers are so busy that it is displaying incorrect server numbers. Assume all of them are 100/100.

I can't log in to any server. I log on to the server, 2-5 seconds pass and I am disconnected from the server and brought to the main screen of the game. There are no errors or notifications that something is missing for the game to work. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

I reinstalled the game, updated the drivers, logged out and logged back into my steam account. Checking the integrity of the files showed that everything is fine. I even rebooted the computer several times.

This will reset your saved skins, graphics, and control settings, and I'm not certain that it will help with performance, but it's always a good thing to do after a major update

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Delete the "Saved" folder.

@vale otter hey, these are my current settings, do you have any suggestions? i know you said it would be a good idea to use dlss for aa. i usually have lens flare and bloom on high and sometimes shadows, effects, materials and textures on epic, but i'm trying to get better/more stable fps. i typically get anywhere from 80-120 fps on spiro, but it drops to 40 or lower if i'm near several other players. gateway is really bad, i'm lucky to get 60 fps and suffer random dips that go down to 20 fps. i also occasionally get fatal error crashes and have noticed my pc getting really hot after like 30 minutes to an hour of playtime (on spiro).

i have an intel i5-10400f @ 2.90gz, nvidia rtx 3050, and 16gb ram (with about 10gb available), if that helps any.

I suggest turning shadows to medium, view distance far/medium, maybe that'll help

but I get a stable 70-100 frames and occasionally they drop to 30-20 in certain areas, very occasionally dropping to like 13 even, it's just how popular that area of the map is, bodies, roars, fighting, ect that cause issues

The player-count doesn't accurately display the number of players on a server. That's why it says it's full: because it is, even if the player-count reads otherwise. It doesn't change anything to be sitting on the character menu or to have actually spawned in.

I'm having trouble connecting to servers after the update came out. I've checked and the versions seem to be just fine as well as my internet, but when i try to join any server at first it keeps saying that the server is full, even if the player counter says otherwise but i'm assuming it's just a glitch with the system because this isn't anything new. However, if i try to join any server that isn't full, the game just crashes. Never had this problem before, so i'm assuming it's got something to do with the new map. Aside from terrible stam regen, there are some other things I found while playing a deino (croc): the elite fish seem to have a bug where I can only get 1 animation cycle before I can't eat from them (they aren't depleted either), and crocs don't spawn in water like they used to. I nearly died of dehydration while trying to find water (yes I followed the migration marker).

This is usually caused by your graphics being on low. If you change it to epic it will fix it.

i keep hanging on splash screen or closes right away. also once today gave the anti cheat not installed. did everything what was said in the pinned location about ant cheat didnt help still the same issue. or closes straight away or hangs on splash screen for some seconds and closes.

even totally new windows and everything. didnt help remove this issue. stays the same. i had some fatal error and stuff managed to get that working. for spiro legacy also working but gateway doesnt matter what i try. same thing keep happening. unistalled anti cheat, then unistalled the isle. removed everything i could find on pc and steam from the isle. then restarted pc. checked for update. also drivers. restarted again. donwloaded the isle enrivma. installed anti cheat. checked for updates again, restarted pc. and then tried game. still nothing but splash screen stuck.

Low in general is bugged at the moment so changing it back will bring back the grey color. I believe they are working on fixing it right now

This is a common bug. The servers are so busy they do not display correctly. Just assume all are 100/100

You either have to keep trying or wait for one to read 100/100 to join the queue

You may try deleting the isle folder in local app data. There is instructions in one of the pins. Once you delete that also delete the isle folder in your steam file and then uninstall and reinstall. That works for me.

Exactly. Just keep click spamming. Often the ones that are not full have a queue but you just can’t get in line without the 100/100. If you keep trying sometimes it will let you cut the queue

I remember on a previous update it would do that for some people if it was reading old isle data. You may try the same thing I mentioned above about a hard reinstall. Delete the local app data, steam isle folder, and then uninstall and reinstall.

Also make sure your gpu is up to date

Make sure the md5# is set to auto in your red wire config folder as well.

You can attempt a steam file verify on steam first

Then fresh Install if that doesn’t work

This is what worked for me. First uninstall the local app data isle folder. There is a pin with instructions on how to do it. Then delete the isle folder in the steam file. Then uninstall and reinstall the isle from inside the steam app. If you only uninstall it doesn’t delete some of the old isle files and it can cause issues.

But I wouldn’t jump the gun and do all that first without just doing a simple steam file verify

That will catch any issues during install which is pretty common with games in general

That is due to the low graphics setting. It’s bugged right now. It’s normal if you change your settings to epic.
