You're on the old, default version of the game. You may want to swap to the branch that's receiving updates. Right click The Isle in your Steam library, click Properties, click Betas, click the drop-down bar and select evrima. Steam will start downloading the new version

been having awful audio crackling and ive run down the list of things i could address. no luck so far so i just put the game down.

saw the audio fixes in patch notes. thought id test. started off so crispy and running beautiful, then the first time i laid eyes on a water source it started. ebbing and flowing in severity until eventually it was constant and my game crashed with a fatal error.

its seems bound to my performance or gameplay somehow. if im trotting around it will come and go. but in this instance i was a baby carno trying to survive at night sprinting after a teno spam biting. it just got worse and worse like it was piling up audio cues until failure.

Dieno is 4 hours and 30 minutes
Stego is 5 hours (not too sure if its 5 still tho)
Dryo is 25-30 minutes
Utah raptor is 70 minutes
Cerato is 2 hours (complete guess about cerato)
Galli is 55 minutes (this one was also a guess, but I think its accurate)
Carno is 100 minutes
Teno is 90 minutes
Troodon is 30-45 minutes
Beipi is 30-45 minutes
Pteranodon is 55 minutes
Pachy is 75 minutes
Hypsi is auto an adult

If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Open the Saved folder.
Delete the Config folder.
Relaunch the game.

That usually means that the server is full. The server numbers do not display correctly.

The only other thing I can think of is what happened the last stress test. So many people were logging in at the same time that one person would be connected while the other was booted even though they could already see the world loading. I've heard of a few others having that issue.

Either way it should be fixed when they fix the queue I believe.

Coming in here to try one last time to fix this graphical issue.
This is a recurring issue where once ingame, the textures look "fuzzy" and granulated. If the character moves, it looks as though they are shedding pixels.
Running the game on an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Quad-Core Processor with a Radeon RX 480 card.

My attempted fixes include:
Tried every variation of AA settings.
Increasing 3D res to 100%.
Adjusted screen resolution.
Ensured all drivers are up to date.
Tried Radeon image sharpening.
Verified files.
Deleted config & cache.
Completely deleted all files and reinstalled game.

Issue persists despite all attempts to fix.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I had this happen once in a previous update and turning off any type of AA in settings fixed it for me but I have a different type of graphics card and I know you said you tried it already. :/ Sorry I can't be any help.

I would be frustrated as well. I think the others that posted had similar graphics cards and just resorted to the answer of their card not being able to handle the new graphics very well but that's going off memory. I hope that the finished update has it fixed for ya.

I had a friend having the same issue and this is what they said they did to fix it. "My brother helped me! Apparently it was my AGV anti-virus app on my pc blocking a patch that went out and it was making it so it wouldn't let the entire program run BECAUSE that patch wasn't being allowed."

You can also delete the config file as pinned and it should fix it.
