Hi, not sure if this is the right channel for this, but my deino had a broken leg, I was almost at full health, I safelogged, logged back in and lost almost all my health (5% left) and I heard the leg breaking sound, although I was on solid ground. Doesn't happen everyday. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's horrible out of the blue. And I don't know what causes it because I never boot anything new up

Your character can fall and break a leg if your system takes a while to load the map. Avoid for that reason to log on rocks and other similar surfaces as they can take longer than the ground to load, resulting in your character falling from quite a significant height.

I logged on the ground, in a bush, but thanks for the tip. This has never happened to me before, so I thought there's a connection with safelogging while your leg is broken.

When it happens I notice that my PSU makes a coil whine sound until my FPS go back to normal. It's just one, two seconds max. Not sure what it concretely means, but I imagine a spike in power consumption, so that sometimes the game is asking a lot from the GPU? Maybe that could be the same thing that causes other people's game to crash, while our systems are able to go back to normal when it happens. Just a hypothesis, would be interesting to bring this up with a dev or someone who knows a lot about UE5.

Are you on the Legacy or Evrima branch? Servers on Legacy can take a while to show up, and there are no official servers there, so make sure to look at the unofficial server list.

Hey! I have a weird bug, and not sure what causes it, but whenever I join a server, as soon as it connets my game just stops without an error message right before it would throw me in the server. It seemed to work on eu7, been able to play on it yesterday and today, and other low pop servers like SA, but whenever i'd join other eu servers it just does this. Do i need to delete my %appdata% whenever i try to join a new server? Is there a way to prevent this?

I hold windows key plus R, type regedit, open Hkey_Local_Machine, then open system, then open control and click on GraphicsDrivers.
Right click in the white on the right and add DWord 32 bit value and name it TlrDelay, double click and make it decimal and value data of 15.
Next make another DWord 32 bit and name it TdrLevel, double click and make decimal and 0. Save and restart the computer

any way to get rid of the fuzzy graphics? Game runs fine and is very playable but ever since 6.5 dropped the game has looked kinda pixelated. Its mostly noticeable on movement and especially in laggier areas. I've cleared config/saved folders countless times and nothing changes, as well as messed with all the AA & super resolution options. Wondering if this is just how the game looks for now. 1660 Ti.

At first I thought of a resolution problem judging by how you described your problem and the screenshot alongside it, but if you have it set to your monitors maximum resolution that shouldn't be the issue. Try going from fullscreen to window and back to fullscreen - or Alt+Enter.

yeah that didnt fix the issue but i tried the 4k res and it technically fixed the graphics but gave me awful frames, which is obvious because i shouldn't be running that without the proper hardware. I wonder if that means I have a different problem with my resolution settings

So your monitor is FullHD physically but you use DSR to upscale it. I wonder if that's your problem. Before 6.5 dropped the hardware specifications weren't as high and a 1660 TI would've probably been able to run it upscaled to 4K reasonably well. But now, since 6.5 uses UE5+ and needs more capable hardware, it could mean that 4K doesn't run well for you and FullHD looks blurry. That's my guess. Try DSR 1080p.

If you experience this on every server this is very likely an issue on your side. I'd suggest you try to see if you experience package loss as well, as this could (besides a high ping) also be a reason for your rubber banding.

Google your graphics card to find out if it supports DX12 and to what feature level. For The Isle, the minimum requires is DX12 feature level 12_0.
If your GPU does support that, you have to update its drivers. You can do that, if you have a Nvidia GPU, from the Geforce Experience app or from Nvidia's website. If you have an AMD GPU, you can install the drivers from the AMD Adrenaline app or from AMD's website.
Note that if your GPU is old, it may not receive driver support anymore, and in that case, you will not be able to run The Isle, even if your GPU supports DX12 feature level 12_0. Up-to-date drivers are crucial.

Windows should also be up-to-date. Windows 10 or 11; Home, Pro or Education editions; version 22H2.

Because you run the game on integrated graphics, which isn't possible unfortunatley. Like Kouga stated you need a newer (standalone) GPU which has at least DX12 with feature level 12_0.

That almost sounds like a overheating problem unless when you got the big frame drops that you were near alotta dead bodies and players

I've tried to update windows in case that's the problem but it doesn't find any updates

It says that there's safety and quality related updates that's missing but I've tried so many things to download the missing stuff. Heck, a friend who's an IT nerd and works with such couldn't help me with this, he told me to do what I've already tried. I sat 12 hours straight trying to fix this before contacting him.

Been error searching, found problems, searched the code, found out what to do, uced CMD trying to solve it, nothing... Tried so many different things for 12 hours before asking my friend.. And he just walked through everything i've already done so I did it once again with him
