This is evrima, see the map on the unofficial servers.

My guess was that they were hiding under the unofficial server tab. Maybe the file verification will work for them.

I think he meant that they hadn't updated Evrima yet, not that they were on Legacy (and they did say that they saw there was an update but that they couldn't download it)

when i first log on and get to the main menu everything is black and i cant see a thing except the announcment bar saying its a game in beta and whatnot the options are there (play, settings) e.g. and are pressable and after pressing it takes me to the screen and i can see again, but no servers whatso ever pop up. then i try to close the game and the app disappears from the screen but steam says its still running until i press "stop" and then it just endlessly says "stopping" not even task manager can kill it, have to restart the pc. any solutions, tried reinstalling, restarting, updating driver

that is weird that your Windows defender trigger on this file. It should not. Maybe you don't have the good one. I sugest to reinstall VRruntime 140_1 with Windows C++ runtime. you can find it on Microsoft web site (just use google + version of the vc runtime)

Becareful on what you are downloading on google. Be sure to be on the microsoft website. Double check and remove the old version.

I need help- someone that knows their graphic settings in evrima well.
Idk why but it has like a weird blurry ish filter over the game, the dinos itself are fine and ui is fine too. Its mainly near grass or grass itself that goes "swoosh" and is so dizzy to look at. You don't see anything since it takes up most of ur view if ur smaller. I can't play like that if i always have to throw up moving my mouse a millimeter. I wouldn't call it motion blurr either tho... idk what it is but it makes it unplayable for me and my eyes. I can't describe it. Legacy does not have that

The ui is fine. Stego looks okay and sharp too. But the blurry effect goes over myself here as well . Its harder to see in this screen

You can see it if you look up to the stegosaurus on the screenshot. Then look down towards the legs where it gets more absurd

Is there a way to get a dino back? I logged out last night after getting a stegosaurus to full growth on EU5 and when I connect it black screens and tells me to Select your asset(Create a new dino)... It was a safe logout, so I'm not sure why this is happening without even a death screen or something...

This is an uncommon bug. If you encounter it, try to exit your game immiedatly. Do not create a new character - this might restore your character upon relogging.

I did my researchs and apparently DX12 has been (re)enabled since october 22. So it should work but for some reasons it doesnt.

As you said its most likely because the game might be running with Shader model 6. ( unreal engine 5.1 ) and my graphic card supports up to Shader model 5.1 ( unreal engine 5.0. )

the Dx12 error basically means 2 things.

1. You need to update all your driver's and windows

Allot of people say you can’t run the game because of specific specs but regardless of some people’s specs here they have somewhat of a gaming pc, if some people have errors first try to uninstall the game and install again, if the game is on HDD move it to SSD since HDD isn’t really meant for some games, if that doesn’t work, and if your overclocking reduce your over clocking, if you aren’t over locking, under clock your GPU even if your graphics card or cpu isn’t the strongest you should still be able to load up the game and play even with low fps

Instead of telling people to get a new pc to run a game help them with under clocking and or over clocking or help them with the basics before telling them they need a new pc to run a game

This isn’t directed toward anyone just saying to anyone in general cause I’ve seen the “you need a new pc” to every response to an error that someone presents

dx12 issues are the only thing ive ever seen someone say you need a new pc and that is also the only thing i can think of the top of my head thats needs an new pc as dx12 is hardware related and if your gpu infrastructure isent new enough to support it you cant do anything but the a new gpu

Dx12 is an issue even for gpus that support Dx12, most of the time the issue is with the configuration with the pc, for example some dude the other day got the dx12 error all of a sudden what did he do? He underclocked his pc and not only did he play all day without crashes but maintained 50-60 fps not including populated areas

What I’m saying is that there’s a work around for everything, you just need to know certain things to fix certain things

okay i've been having problems with easy anti cheat for the past week and i've tried every possible solution listed, and i've been trying to tinker with the anti cheat myself see if i could fix it but nothing worked and so i came to a conclusion that my game was broken and settled with not being able to play. So today I tried as a last straw of hope to fix the anti cheat and tried tinkering with the easy anti cheat online services and uh i installed a game that has a working EOS such as VRchat in my case and it worked the game launched without the easy anti cheat not installed error.

i dont think you can, just pick a note on your pc and write the servers you were in

Just remember your server name mate. For example i play on eu6 and easly remember it becasue its just eu6. If its a community serv with a long name just note it down

You can check in Task Managern under the performance tab. There should be one or two GPUs listed depending on your pc

Make sure Windows is up to date, and try searching online for driver updates, but I doubt that you can run evrima anymore. That's integrated graphics from your CPU, you have no dedicated GPU

I believe that CPU can't run the most updated version of dx12, iirc that's Feature Level 12

It's possible that outdated drivers might be causing the issue, though

I just don't know where to find drivers for integrated graphics, I'd start with Intel's website

There's an starting error where the game gets blocked by the Anti-cheat, with the error code 30005.
This error doesn't always appear though, so it could be a reason for your problem.
This seems to mainly be caused over one of the latest Windows Updates, this has solved that specific issue for some people:

Head to Windows Security -> Device security
Open Core Isolation
There, disable Memory integrity
Now restart your Computer (Don't skip this)

Now see if the game loads up normally.
