Update your graphics drivers. You're supposed to keep them up-to-date so you're supposed to check Geforce Experience or Nvidia's website regularly to make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date.

My GPU driver is up to date I use directx 12 and I have no problem with directx 12. I also updated my Windows.

In the crash file I can read errors like this one:

You can ignore that, for night vision not working you just need to wipe your Config folder:
If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Open the Saved folder.
Delete the Config folder.
Relaunch the game.
(Note: this will also reset your custom settings.)

The anti-cheat one shortly after you crashed is a follow up. it is temporary. because of the crash it didn't log you out of the server properly. therfore you need to wait a few minutes until your old session times out on that server.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for all your chipsets abd gfx card. Get them from the vendor, not from windows update (those are horribly out-dated).

You might also want to look into giving your bios firmware an update.

Also some hardware test like memtest or stresstesting with CPU-Z and GPU-Z could help identify if you are having a hardware issue.

Just got the game a day ago, and I get a fatal error (no other info) crash at least every 30 minutes--havent managed to grow even a troodon to adult yet.

You need to remove everything from the launch options.
You will then get the ”DX12 is not supported by your system” error. To fix it, you need to update your graphics card drivers, assuming you have one that supports the required feature level. Windows also has to be up-to-date.

My controls keep randomly resetting to the keybinds I usually use for teno. I’d be playing say a galli normally then suddenly, literally in the middle of combat, the controls would set to teno keybinds. Similarly the frame rate limit I set would go back to default, I keep mine at 60 so that I experience less fatal errors. Then these resets would occur and my game crashes. Is this another reinstall fix or deleting the config folder?

hi, it's the first time that i'm in this discord. I have some troubles in my game. i played this game almost 2 days or something and everytime i use 'scent' (blue line above) i never see something to go to (no eating or drinkingplaces ect. ). Each time i see on youtube some video's from 'The isle' i see that they can see everything on it. I've never seen something like that on my line/compas. Why don't i have all those hints in my previous games? Also sometimes if i play in a map. I never find something to eat and then eventually i'm just walking around until i died because i can not find any food if i'm playing with a carnivore. Why can't i find any food like boars, rabits, goats,...?? if i'm in the wrong group for those answers, in which group should i ask those questions?

If you're an herbivore or omnivore, you can only properly scent while standing still. As a carnivore you can scent while moving, but not while sprinting. Depending on where you spawned, it's possible that there simply isn't anything around to smell

No worries! When you open GeForce Experience, there'll be 2 tabs at the top. Go to the drivers tab, and you should be able to find, download, and install the newest driver for your GPU

It might require a restart of your PC when it installs, the newest driver for my pc did
