So I have been able to find fixes for the gamethread timed out fatal error, fuzzy/pixelated graphics, and the beipi underwater night vision bug. This will set the games render scale to 100%, along with other changes that will increase the visual fidelity of the game, and solve the gamethread timed out fatal error.

Follow these steps:
Press Windows key + R, then type in %localappdata%
Delete the D3DSCache folder
Locate the engine.ini in TheIsle/Saved/Config/WindowsClient
Open the engine.ini file, then copy/paste the following at the bottom of the file:

Just a complaint if people get disconnected randomly or game crashes how come they don’t get disconnected from the server instead of being in the same place waiting in a queue I got back on right in time to save myself but it’s not fair at all for players who experience that to be disconnected

The game can't tell the difference between a crash/random boot and someone quitting. You stay in game when you quit so you can't immediately vanish if, say, you're losing a fight, but it means you stay in game when you crash, too

If you are still getting the gamethread timeout fatal error after this, Try this:

Press Windows Key + R, then type in regedit
Navigate to- Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
Right-click in big right hand box and hit new DWORD 32 bit value
Change name to TdrLevel
Right-click TdrLevel and hit modify
Click decimal, and make sure value is 0
Right-click and make another new DWORD 32 bit value
Name this one TdrDelay
Right click TdrDelay and hit modify
Click decimal, and change value to 60
Right-click once more and make new DWORD 32 bit value
Name it TdrDdiDelay
Right click TdrDdiDelay and hit modify

Restart PC

Getting Client Disconnected after a server crashes and attempt to reconnect/queue once the server is back online, my friend is able to reconnect/requeue for the same server. I am able to queue/connect to other servers without issue, just not the one that I was on before the crash. I am unable to reconnect/requeue to the server until its normal restart time. Well this morning I tried to play the isle again after about a year, game just freezes about 2 mins after loading into a server....but after spending a good few hours playing with settings, uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing works. after my 3rd fresh installation the game now freezes before I can even load into a server. I almost miss the rubber banding era where I could at least log into a server and play moonwalking dinos. I give up.

I deleted all isle files and the game on steam, then just redownloaded it and I got to playing for abt 30 minutes before getting off with no crashing issues so I think it may have fixed it

@unborn dove For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

It has also been known to be caused by strict permissions with a Windows User Account and/or strict Anti-Virus settings

Please reduce what Windows and/or Anti-virus will block as far as programs go. You may need to create a new Windows User account to bypass the issue.

-If the above fails, make sure your GPU/GFX Drivers are updated. If you already updated them, uninstall them and reinstall them if the issue persists.

Hey, i will try it now on this way: When i start evirma, EAC starts as it should. But then when loading the game (the image after EAC) a second instance of the game starts (EAC again ask for admin rights etc) and starts a second instance of Evirma. When i disallow the game doesnt start. When i allow the second instance to start, i get the "Maximum number of instances reached" error. How can i break that loop? Is that a problem with NVMe Storage?

sounds like steam issue find ur steam library and go to steamapps easiset way is to right click any game then click properties, local files, broswe then go back to steamapps(see the pic above you need to click steamapps in that menu) and delte appmanifest_376210 and will make steam forget you have the isle simply reinstall and it will come back to you after a validation

It sounds like your issue is hardware/Windows rooted and not anything to do with the Isle so good luck fixing that mess

When you go into regedit, you have to paste Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers into the bar that sits below file/edt/view etc. then new dword 32 bit value

It should be in the folder before all the game folders in ur Steam library

The engine.ini settings no, but possibly the regedit's could. Try booting the game again, then if it doesn't work you can delete the regedit's and restart your PC and see if that helps

In windows, go to device manager (type it in search bar) then look under display adapters. Right click on the intel Igpu, then disable device after you ensure that your monitor is plugged into the proper slot in @bronze echo's pic.
