so the game will not let me use any controls (such as calling, biting, etc) and in settings there's no keybinds for any of it. I think it has something to do with the game thinking I have a controller plugged in? (I do not.) I have been trying to play Evrima for the past three days now and everytime, no matter what settings i try, the game freeze when i enter certain places like water, or a grassland and i have to force it to shut down and restart the game to try again.

On land dinosaurs i can stay about 15 min, then it freeze
Beipi for example, if i enter the water, it freeze instantly

okay so it looks like the freeze is related to the resolution you play at, if you play at the max your monitor can take (1920x1080 for me), the freeze is like every 5 min. If you lower it, the time between crashes increases.

other settings dont seem to affect it

I just bought this game less than 2 weeks ago.
I can't play, first because the game crashed when joining or hosting servers.

Switched to evrima. Tried to run the game. I was missing Easy Anticheat and the devs did not put the script that "fixed" the issue in the build.

After they fixed, which was not more than a few days ago, i tried now running the game and it crashes when joining an official server. When i try to go to an "unofficial" server it says "Easy Anticheat verification failed".

I thought that it'd be somewhat playable, seems like I'm wrong.

I've grown a bit frustrated, if anyone has any advice it'd be great.
For now I'm doing the usual, verifying local files and trying to run the damn script again.

unfortunately it is mainly an Unreal engine issue not the games issue, just keep trying the usual update graphics drivers and windows updates

installing and running VRChat fixed it for me. Weird fix though, but its worth a shot cuz vrchat is free

This is weird, i have other games that run with unreal and i use it at work. Never had these kind of issues on a live build with other games. Maybe I was just lucky until now.

Fix 3: Delete Config Folder
How to delete CONFIG folder

close your game
press windows + r
search %localappdata%
find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config
Fix 4: Clear D3D shader cache
How to clear D3D shader cache
Go to your C drive, find users (open your user folder), Find Appdata, then go to local, and find D3DScache and delete as many files as possible from it, then restart your game.
All of these are only possible fixes and not guranteed, Please only try these fixes with the game closed also.

your PC barely reaches the minimum system requirements

and with 6.5 the new isle update I think it may be due to your computers system being too weak to run the game for too long
