So I might be totally wrong here but I’ve been doing some research in this fatal error since it’s happening to me as well and I have come to the conclusion that this isn’t an isle issue but an UE5 issue on some machine configurations. It’s one of the reasons the isle people aren’t able to fix it or troubleshoot it very well. Since very few games run UE5 it’s not common yet. One thing I’ve done to come to this conclusion is I run the free benchmark on steam EzBench since it uses UE5, and the exact same fatal error occurred. All my other games run just fine, for instance last night I ran cyberpunk on high-ultra settings for about 4.5 hours no issues

@autumn copper @thin oracle @gleaming star Make sure everything driver-wise is up to date; press windows key, type cmd, right click and run as admin, type the following "sfc /scannow" (this may fix a few corrupt bits ideally); uninstall and reinstall anticheat (right click from steam on The Isle> Propoerties> Installed Files> Browse> uninstall and install are both there, and when you double click on them it looks like nothing happens.

So last night I had absolutely no issue getting into an unofficial server. The official servers are always full unless I get lucky after an hour plus of just trying to get into one.

This morning, I still cannot get into official servers, so I tried the unofficial I was in last night, and now I cannot get anything other than this pop up.

Also make sure you’re using the correct gpu in your nvidia control panel and that it’s set to high performance for the isle

Random clickfest for me, have to just pick one of 3/4 eu servers get thrown back to the menu and sometimes randomly get lucky after a while, terrible design throwing a client back to the menu if a server is full, kinda crazy this hasn't been looked at yet as it's 2023, I still play Battlefield 2 Project reality mod, bf2 is a game from 2002 and it's server overview has worked fine for 20+ years now kek

It did not work @thin oracle. It pulls up the Anticheat window, runs it through until the bar is all the way, then it opens up another one with a popup asking for it to be allowed. If we click yes, another Anticheat window displays and tries to load, then fails giving us the error. If we click no, it shuts it down as well

I found out that an instance of the isle remains "open" and is visible in my task manager even though there is no associated program active. There is also an accompanying instance of EAC active with it, but no window that goes with it and i have to close it manually afterwards

I'm having a problem. I swapped over to evrima last night (just bought the game a couple days ago). When I launch the game from steam, it shows the anti cheat menu and loads to 100%. After it loads, it says "initializing" and then a few moments later it changes and says "waiting on game". It then crashes with no message whatsoever. I've verified the integrity of the files, I've messed with the anti cheat. I've uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game and then verified the integrity of the files and I've also restarted my computer a few times. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

I did not. Despite the recent Isle patch saying it added an installer, I still cannot get the game to run. The easy anticheat installer does nothing when double clicked and given permission to make changes. I don't have the time to continue long troubleshooting tho, so I'll probably just uninstall and check back in another half year. :/

I have a problem that when I try to join any server and it turns out to be full, then after some attempt (3-5) it throws me out of the game to the desktop without any notification. What could be the cause of this? The Isle is the only game that does this to me, and I have more demanding ones such as RDRII

When I shut down the game I keep getting "Security violation detected" Or it'll force close and say that. I did some digging and apparently easy anti cheat doesn't like antivirus, or keyboard software especially if it controls RGB lighting. The fix for this is apparently disabling your keyboard and shutting down all of your computer security. That's not happening so. Any one else familiar with this happening? These errors don't result in bans typically do they?

It's a bit high. Generally anything 150 and above isn't ideal for anything pvp or competitive. Most people consider anything 250 and above unplayable. You might suffer some latency and desync issues at 200.

i will still supply these details however within the steam properties of the game simply typing -dx11 has fixed it it seems, however now it says unable to launch with rhi d3d11 rhi since the project is not configured to support it, should i still supply those details or is there a fix for this

Yes, it doesn't actually fix anything because the game cannot launch in DX11. So you have to remove -dx11 in the launch options.

Sadly the GTX 770 only supports DX12 with feature-level 11_0, which means it supports DX11 features but not DX12. With the switch to Unreal Engine 5, the game now uses DX12-only features, that your GPU is too old to support. :/

Select ”Properties”, go to ”Installed files”, then click ”Browse”.
There you will see a file called InstallAntiCheat. Click on it.
Nothing will visibly happen: that is normal.
Run the game again. Your issue should be fixed.

I have a question - my pc and every piece of hardware inside of it is up to date and in perfect condition yet even if I put The Isle on its lowest settings, it literally crashes my pc. Full on reboots my whole system. What could be causing this? It's only The Isle that does this.
