Originally I thought itd be the audio driver but it wasnt. I deleted the extra Nvidia applications including Nvidia experience and reinstalled it all then told Nvidia Experience to reinstall my driver. Sounds odd but it worked for me

I mean right now I can flat out tell you it doesn't run on DX11. Period. The command line flag is -dx11 as launch args and you can introduce this issue for you if you add that to your launch options. Same of you try to use vulkan instead of DX.

But DirectX12 is a certifiaction that the card supports DX12 API calls. Which start at DX11_1

In reality, you can easily have a game that requires something like shader model 6.0 where you need DX12_1 feature levels.

So DX12 kinda doesn't mean as much as featuee levels. We'll see what punchpacket says I guess haha.

You can also specify featurelevel in the engine.ini file but the game doesn't seem to respond to regular syntax for doing that in that file.

Not my game but a friends. We've done everything we could find form deleting the game, resetting config folder, deleting the EasyAntiCheat folder and re verifying files, even re optimizing settings in nVidia GeForce. Installed UE5 for hopefully a workaround but to no avail.
Currently running Windows 11 but don't know if that would be the cause of it.

They;ve accumulated a "Hour" of playtime due to opening the game, getting the screenshot above, and closing and restarting the process.

Any assistance would be appreciated as we've been trying to fix this for several hours

This might also sound stupid, but on a long shot, it's worth considering updating the network card drivers. If you are on the most recent release for the card being used, downgrade to a couple older verisons. (again, network card, not video card)

yeah, sorry. I barely know how/why it worked for me but Ill retrace my steps. I searched Nvidia in my task bar the tried to uninstall it so it took me to the windows uninstall device application where I tried to uninstall all Nvidia applications I could (I could not uninstall the drivers), including experience. Once I did that I redownloaded experience from the website and once I did that I went to the driver page and clicked the three dots on the side and told it to reinstall driver. Somehow It works now. Could be sheer dumb luck what I did but I hear jesus now in game.

Could I get some help? I fixed this issue before, but that was because my drivers were out of date, but everything is up to date and I just don't know what to do.
I keep getting a fatal error with no error code every 30 minutes or so when playing the game. Sometimes it will crash my whole pc.

• windows + r
• search %localappdata%
• find The Isle folder and DELETE it
  then
• Right click the game on steam
• properties > local files > browse
• DELETE The Isle folder

• close your game
• press windows + r
• search %localappdata%
• find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config
• do not write anything, just search it by eye!
