People used to delete the Saved folder, which also resulted in the loss of your Skins! >.<

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

but just to be sure, what GPU do you have?

So if you don't know what kind of GPU you have, then that generally means you dont have DLSS compatible one

the series that are compatible are 20xx, 30xx, 40xx, and Quadro RTX

@thin oracle you can also try loweirng your rendering scale by 20% intervals, assuming you have it at 100% right now

I wouldn't recommend going lower than 60%

as visual quality is massively degraded by that point

Else you could try adding a firewall exclusion for the "The Isle" steam folder, sometimes the firewall blocks the internet access.
for Win10 that works like this:
"Choose Start > Control Panel. Click Security, and then in the Windows Firewall section, click Allow A Program Through Windows Firewall. Click Add Program on the Exceptions tab"

I know someone managed to solve it over a VPN to the USA, though that's probably a bit annoying and I'm only saying it in case you know a lot about VPNs already or are using one.

If you're loading really slowly put your fps limit to 8, then once you load put it back to normal

3.) Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4.) Find the TheIsle folder. Open it.
5.) Open the Saved folder, and go into the Config folder.
6.) Open the WindowsClient folder.
7.) Delete the Input.ini file (for you it might be called Input)
8.) Restart the game.

hm, then try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat.sys"(maybe "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" for you) file.

It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how)

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

I'm not 100% sure this will work, but you can try this: Open an Administrator level command prompt

1. Type in CMD on your windows search through your computer.
2. Right click Command Prompt
3. Click Run as Admin. It'll open a black weird box
4. Type ipconfig /flushdns
5. Hit enter
6. Type netsh winsock reset
7. Hit enter
8. Reboot your computer
9. Open up The Isle

4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.

that's a common bug, it doesn't really has an exact fix but everytime it happens to me I manage to make it work by:

• unpairing (even if it disappears)
• quitting the group (even if there's none)
• recourting

both parties need to do the steps, it may doesn't work the first time

I run it pretty okay on my GTX 1070, with around 40-50 fps on average, but it's more on the lower end of what runs.

but you could try this fix:

Try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat.sys"(maybe "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" for you) file.

It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how)

Hey so I installed the Evrima branch today and when I launch the game, I get an Easy Anti Cheat not installed error. I’ve tried verifying files and it finds 26 files that are missing or corrupted but it doesn’t actually acquire them or let me download them. I’ve tried going to the Easy Anti Cheat file within the local game files and the EAC Setup will not run. What else can I try?

Alright, so I ran the InstallAntiCheat.bat program and EAC is working this time. Now I’m running into another problem

Steam thinks The Isle is already running so it won’t start the game.

I’ve restarted steam too

I verified all files and nothing is out of place.

It looks like the isle is trying to launch but it fails and tries again.

So yeah, EAC will initialize and say “waiting for game”. I will get prompted to let the EAC bootstrapper make changes to my device. The isle image will show up and then it closes and prompts me to let EAC make changes again. And this cycle repeats

Okay, I just got a launch error from EAC. CreateFile failed with 32
