Try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server.

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

I was able to beat the splash screen failure...my steps were clean install of both eac and eaceos. I used the service update on the eac website and I went from zero success for over a month to everytime loading. However others have had mixed results. One friend it fixed and with kart it didn't work. I read through eaceos forums and found an epic employee mentioning that older versions of eac may have curropt files or files with names to similar to eos. Once running I did get an openxr error of a broken dll folder...I repaired it and the game didn't launch. I disabled openxr and it launched again. I haven't done enough testing to for sure any of this as I am just one pc. But maybe you will see other evidence while you investigate that aligns with this.

I also gave both eac and eaceos apps admin.

Maybe some of you having this issue can check your PC and see if you have eac installed from other games. Or if you use open xr for vr games. Maybe we can see if there is a pattern.

I am not affiliated with the isle in anyway other than I play it and got the game to load.

Word. When I fixed my isle it broke that app. I fixed that app and had issues launching. Disabled it and it worked again. Figured worth a shot to eliminate it.

Sorry for pinging you all >.< but you all had the issue of being stuck in the "Splash art" loading screen before (see the picture below).
If you still have that issue, there are new potential solutions for that problem!

OKay i had to do the the extra steps of completly removing steamVR and Oculus from my pc and then reboot and now it will launch without issues, not an issue since im not using my VR rn but it works now at least i guess

Are you with Nvidia too? My issue was having Open XR active (A type of VR toolkit) but this only started when I put in a new gpu going from AMD to Nvidia. I think there's an issue with Nvidia, VR and evrima of all things haha it's all so silly

However, that's three of us now getting stuck on the splash art because of VR stuff so that's something other splash screen people can think about!

Managed to fix it, idk if this is part of The Isles install, but OpenXR was installed within my The Isle folder?

Yes! I reinstalled Oculus and steam VR and it stopped loading again, deleted the OpenXR folder with the software still installed and bingo it loads perfect, we have the fix!

Hmm, @timber scroll Seems like EAC is cutting mid launch and basicly stops doing its thing. Try the following:

1. check again for windows updates. sometimes it doesn't always update to the latest version (restart when necessary). If you are up to date then try the following

2. go to windows search bar type "cmd" right click and run as admin. In there type sfc /scannow
   this command will scan the integrity of your os system files.

3. if there are integrity errors you can then type this command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
   in cmd again. This will take longer but it will repair any errors

Make sure you dont have any pending updates to Windows

My understanding from what ive read, is that the Kernel Patch Protection Disabled error is caused when the patch protection is disabled, your have a boot loader. something is starting with your windows giving EAC a spasm. If its a virus or maybe something you use on your computer. It has disabled something in windows to be able to boot with it

What has been disabled is a security feature that stops viruses etc from booting with windows

If you could, i would suggest a reinstall. Due to what im reading, you may have a rather nasty virus (Rootkit) that is turning off the protection to be able to do its thing.
i might be wrong but, from what im reading my guess its better to be on the safe side.

a root kit can be downloaded only by visiting the wrong site. But it does not have to be a virus, it can be that theres something wrong with your OS and it needs a reinstall. You could try repairing windows with a CD or bootdrive(USB) containing the OS install

hm, if the pinned solutions didn't work you can try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" file.

It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how)

It's probably too late now >.< but you can ping the "Official server admin" role in #evrima-na and tell them your specific server (in your case NA5) and the in-game name of the person who is stuck.
They aren't always online though! so if you don't get a respons it might be better to log out and wait.

@glossy bear I doubt it's a false positive, you most likely have a third party application that the anti-cheat is picking up, I don't believe (although I could be wrong) the isle devs have complete control over it. Go into your task manager and look for anything that might be suspicious.

I'm not sure what the anti-cheat is saying it's picking up, but it might be specifying it, check again and then look for any applications that may be related.

a group of friends and i are trying to play evrima over the last week, myself and 1 other have already had the game since one of the earlier betas and works fine (loving the new update so far) the other 2-3 people had no problems getting the game, downloading it and playing it, but the last 2 have been experiencing a few problems/bugs with loading in/playing
1 of them loads in and has a framerate of legit 1FPS which either his settings or the game setting apparently set for him, hes since changed it and apparently it works fine now
the second guy had downloaded it but the game crashes his whole computer upon start up, hes gone through google and looked into it, updated his drivers fully, his specs are beyond the capability of the game and we are at a loss on how to get him in and playing, does anyone have any ideas on how to help him?

Hello, it wont let me enter any official server and it shows this message (in the pic), ive tried several servers, all the same, and none of them were full. I tried verifying the integrity of the files, deleting the saved file, and i did the easy anti-cheat thingy. None of them worked. When I tried unofficial servers, it would let me in but like 10 seconds and then the whole game crashes.

So, my pachy got stuck with the animation that gets utahs off every time I press E. Now I can't lay down, sniff, eat, or drink. I tried hard logging once already, tried swimming, tried spamming Q, but nothing has worked. Stam won't regenerate either.

Did you try deleting your saved folder? ^^

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

So ive messed up. Long story short, I got both Legacy and Evrima right? Evrima broke and the models for the dieno, dryo, stego, and utah all became extremely polygonal and ugly, so I tried to uninstall. That didnt work so I removed the file, then it didnt launch, so I re-added the file and now it wont work and im super confused. Because I cant launch from steam or the shortcut, and can only launch from the file. And its legacy. I dont know what to do.

Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server.

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

Got a server full message and now back to the Connection failed error above. I don't think this is a server restart issue. Correct me if I am wrong, but during a server restart you can't see player numbers in the lobby. At least you wouldn't see it moving from 94-99.

I didn't fully get what you tried so far, so I'm not sure if you did this ):
But did you try a complete manual uninstall ?

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

anyone else's game just crash without a pop up and completely close like ur back at your desktop screen? gunne try uninstalling n reinstalling to see if that will fix that but its been doing this now for me all week and was wondering if this happens to anyone else?

hey guys how can i fix the lag spikes ? kinda sad to play like that every single move i got lag spikes from loading the world

It's how the games optimised I think I've heard people with even RTX 3060s the game still plays bad and lags especially for me

It just needs better optimisation which everyone is talking about or a lot of people but I havent seen any improvement on the optimisation for months
